I tuned out of Moonspell at the same time as you did, Joe. I'll check out the new record based on both of your enthusiasm for it. Fun video, even if it was a bunch of poser canoe music. 🤣
Yeah give some of those newer albums a chance! There's some hidden gems in the several albums they've released in the past 15-20 years. Who you calling a canoe, you pink panty boi!?
You're the first black metal guy (other than myself) that I know of that even mentions the mission!! Fuckin love that band. Wayne's voice in my opinion is top tier when it comes to 80s goth or any era goth! Love the first three albums but gods.. is my go too. Cheers
That's fucking awesome man! Yeah not a lot of people talk about them, which is a total shame, since they definitely deserve to be mentioned among the 80s Goth elite.
What an awesome video. I haven't listened to Moon Spell in years. I will look it up. I love that Soundgarden album. One of my favorites. I did a Black Hole Sun bass solo on my channel. Great vid. Love the bloopers. hahaha
The last 15-20 years of moonspell is, kinda underrated, honestly. There were some really good songs/albums during that period that I feel more people need to check out. I'll have to look up that bass solo! Glad to hear you enjoyed the bloopers -- a candid look at our everyday life, pretty much, haha.
@@joesmetalmancave hell yea, this is a great video and I enjoyed it very much.. Hope you enjoy my bass solo. Been trying to upload one every other month or so.
Damn this is a trip down memory lane! I never remember these bands names but the songs always take me back to radio days! I've got to find time to play my brothers old mixtapes from when I was a kid. TOA is the only album I own from Warlock/Doro it's amazing but I think your wife needs to reign you in on Doro as well as your spending 😅🤣 My paper round paid £10.50 a week but I'd spend it on dope and in the arcade 🤦🏻♂️ Don't own much Exodus although I have their first 2 albums and I have another live album in my inbox. I found that Nihilist comp hard to digest but it probably was down to me more than the music so I'll have to revisit that one. Nice bloopers! 🤣🤣🍻🍻 At least you have one professional on your channel 😜
Man, I had so many radio mixtapes back in the 90s. I wish I still had them. I had songs back then I recorded but didn't know who the artists were, because the DJ didn't say or whatever. Funny thing is, I can remember some of the songs, but I still don't know the artists haha. Anyway, yeah two true professionals over here. Thanks for watching our buffoonery, haha.
Fun video guys… (well… guy and gal)… you should do more of this pairup kind of episodes… yeah I was that dumbass that sold my copy of Superunknown years ago because I thought I was too kvlt for it at some point (but I have it back once again).
Thanks man! Yeah I sold it in the very early 00s, probably after reading too many interviews with Euronymous or something haha ! I'll ask the wifey about doing more vids together!
This video was awesome. Love to see your wife get involved on here. I been meaning to listen to fields of the nephelem. Just never really in the mood for that kind of thing. LOVE that warlock album got that on tape when I was in high school. Wish I woulda went to that insomnium show! Bet it was a great time 🍻
Fields of the nephilim comes highly recommended, especially since their influence on certain metal bands is obvious once you hear them. Listen in the autumn. All will make sense then.
This video reminds me about the time I went horseback riding with Bill Brasky, but there weren’t any horses around? Well, Brasky throws a saddle on my back and rides me around Wyoming for three days. Well, wouldn’t you know it, my stamina increases with each day and I develop tremendous leg muscles. So anyway, Brasky decides to enter me in the Breeders’ Cup, right, under the name Turkish Delight. And I’m running in second place, and I’m running and I break my ankle! They’re about to shoot me. Then someone from the crowd yells out, God bless him, ‘Don’t shoot him, he’s a human.” Also Bill Brasky got his wife pregnant and she gave birth to a delicious 16-ounce steak. The afterbirth was sauteed mushrooms!!!
Soundgarden's, "Superunkown", was the first CD I ever owned. I still have it and it's beat to hell. But back in those days I too was listening to Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, even Green Jelly, ha ha. I still think Nirvana's first album, "Bleach" is decent. Nowadays, TAD, is my favorite of the grunge bands. Any band that makes a tune like "Nipple Belt", in tribute to Ed Gein, scores lots of points in my books, ha ha! :D

It's such a great album! I am happy that I am not the only one reclaiming it! 🤘
Great video. Warlock - Triumph is fantastic. All hails to Doro.
A mighty hail indeed. Now I just need to get more warlock and doro on vinyl! Thanks for watching, Roger!

Hahaha the most rewarding of them all

I'm tryin to get my gf into The Mission and Sisters, unsuccessfully yet. :D
Keep trying. Them bands rule!

Yeah I listened to all of those bands back then, and occasionally still do today. I'll have to look up TAD again. Ed gein themed songs are fun hahaha.
