You are correct in your analysis but in the Auburn game Williams dropped a deep TD pass perfectly thrown. After that passes were short and then Jalen ran.
Ty will be great in this offense, penix jr got rid of the ball in 2.5 seconds Milroe avg 4.5 so line got bad Rep because defense wasn't scared of his pass deep or run backyard football, now will be back to normal
He had 11 ints and 10 fumbles this year - that is about an entire game worth of possessions given to opposing teams - a game manager QB may have gotten the team into playoffs one would think
That is insane. I have never heard of this kind of incompetence and neither has anyone else. AJ MCCarron had 15 turnovers total in THREE seasons. How the hell did we win 9 games?
Duh. It's very good for Bama. They really only had one glaring issue this year - bad QB play. Bama wins 10 or 11 games with good QB play and likely makes the playoffs. With elite QB play they would have contended.
I do not think that the OC has to go. Remember the OC can make the reads and the throws. And in this system Milroe was a B- fit rather than an A fit. Pennex at Washington when he was there is the type of QB that fits this offense. Mack is the best fit for it right now. Mack has been in the system for 2 years and he is the prototype player, big, moves well and understands the pre-snap reads and opportunities. We will see if he can execute them in spring but he has the best chance because he knows the system and is a big body with a gun arm.
They have never gave Ty Simpson the chance at Alabama Jaylen Milroe always play with the First team and they always kept ty playing with the second team I hope they do bring in the freshman and starting and all the other quarterbacks leave
Milroe was terrible this year, and bad at times last year. He got worse this year. Milroe was a RB that could not throw! The WR were getting mad at him. We had the talent last year and this year to win big, but 3 points in OKl game and second half of Mich game shows me we need a new QB!
No one of you blogsters is talking about the DEFENSE. Look at the Defenses since 2008; it isn't there. There was a point where the game actually was accentuated by the Defensive scores/interceptions. Not there this year. Don't really care about the offensive bantering, it will be there.
the int's and fumbles were the problem. if not for that bama would have won all the games. he basically gave oklahoma and michigan the games with his turnovers. he just handed them the wins. he was actually better last year than he was this year. maybe that's because half the players left when saban retired i dunno but something was off all season long.
The blocking and Sheridan wasn't the problem? You fans are the worst. You know nothing.... If Milroe didn't play behind that sorry ass line this season, Alabama would have lost 6 games.
I am sick of hearing what a good athlete Jalen Milroe is without him executing on the football field. I would have benched Milroe in the second half of the Michigan game. Deboer was responsible for that loss to Michigan because he refused to bench him. I like Milroe but the bottom line is he didn't execute. The game was loss because of poor coaching and execution.
@@HowardJohnson-r3f i would have benched him after the 1st quarter for real and maybe brought him back in the 2nd half. the 1st quarter is when michigan scored all of their points cuz of milroe's sloppiness.
@@Muskogeemilroe holds onto the ball FAR to long, because he can't hit a shirt pass. Milroe has plays, designed run, and deep ball. Go back and watch games, how many receivers have been wide open while he's just holding the ball and taking a hit? Notice how bama rarkey called any type of slant or timing route? It's because milroe can't make those passes.
Jalen was not a pocket passer. The reason was because rarely was there a pocket to stand in. The offense line, especially the tackles were terrible all year. Because of this he never had time to develop. It all starts and ends up front. The entire coaching staff except two coaches were knee jerk desperation hires to fill a staff to save portal exits and save recruiting. He needs to look at O line coach and maybe Sheridan at coordinator. His play calls were repetitive. But he was hampered by an extremely athletic player that wasn’t a Quarterback. Milroe’s play sheet was extremely small. Sheridan kept it simple. A big mistake was not getting Simpson or Mack some playing time after the UT loss. Basically the playoff run was over then. DeBoer doesn’t have the mentality to coach SEC football. He should have stayed on the west coast at Washington were they don’t really care.

When, Alabama has the same problems, Don't blame the quarterback next season and apologize. Sheridan and DeBoer is horrible. He never benched Proctor and Prichett.
Go away Milroe truther. You were wrong. Anyone who watches the game understands this. The announcers were actually pointing it out in the Michigan game.
Milroe was not a good fit for Deborer's offense. If you look at Deborer's offense at Washington and at Fresno State and at Indiana where he was a coordinator, the system prefers a pocket drop back gun slinger. Pennex was that and so was Jake Haner at Fresno State. His system works well with an attacking QB that makes reads and then throws to the best target. Pennex was great at doing that. My son played for him at Sioux Falls and he had a gun slinger for a QB that could have started at any FCS or even D1 school. Milroe was not thant type of QB. He fits into a Baltimore Ravens type of run threat system.
I keep hearing the same BS. Milroe doesn't fit his offense. That's BS. Every good coach adapt to quarterback's strengths. Have you ever played at an elite place like college or pro? It sure doesn't sound like it. This isn't those conferences.
If Milroe wasn't playing, Alabama would have lost 6 games or more. Alabama has no Offensive tackles. No one wants to blame DeBoer, Sheridan or Proctor, Prichett. Next season if Ty doesn't do well or the offensive line, will these fans treat Ty the same as they did Milroe or will they start blaming DeBoer, Sheridan or the offensive line because Ty isn't Milroe?
Let’s do this in the correct sequence: (1) get a competent right tackle; (2) start a competent QB.

As an LSU fan, i recognize this post Saban delusion. They absolutely were better with Milroe. There is a reason the number 2 didn’t play
