Once there was " Chai Wala" in Islamabad who broke record of popularity through hype created by media channels. Today it is Haq Nawaz. Haq Nawaz ,no doubt has ability to establish him self as singer, however comparison with Rafi Sb. is un justified. Classical is the mother of entire music providing versatility to stay in this field, other wise one sings a few songs and carrier finishes. Let me quote Warris Baig against Rafi Sb. Former one had no classical base so carrier ended soon while Rafi sb,Nusrat SB, Mehdi Hassan, Tufail Niazi , Ghulam Ali even Sajjad Ali still rule music industry. Having said that I don't mean to insult any one but giving awareness to media channels who take interviewing Has Nawaz as compulsory matter for the success of their channels.
