"A pork sausage at a bar mitzvah." LOL That cracked me up. Do you mean mass hysteria? Interesting experience. I was raised Episcopalian. The most excited anyone ever got was discussing their golf scores at the after-service coffee.
When I was a kid going to church the "spirit" never touched me, sometimes I hated the pasreacher and would draw pictures of him as Hitler, butt as an adult I have occasionally attended churches as an observer. I should be happy to admit that I always Felt the Positive power like you describe which makes you want to participate and lingers through the entire day. Should I also admit it left me feeling vaguely dirty?
Hitler?!! Were you ever spanked as a child? LOL! I don't know about feeling dirty. Perhaps you felt a bit guilty for wanting to get up and join in when you knew it wasn't your "thing"? Really, thank you so much for sharing this experience.
Another good discussion this week. As a teen i went to an evangelical church and always felt uplifted when the room had the energy/spirit/higher consciousness. I never got baptised as much as I loved being there. Also bibliomancy was something that always came naturally during bible study groups. As a collective perhaps its the energy of a group worshipping or in a drumming or chanting circle, people feel connected. There's no denying faith or belief enhances that euphoric feeling. Well thats just my opinion. I like where Soul Shifter is expanding our thoughts. And it is nice to be able to feed back with you. Thank you Matt, as always, 🙏 💜🙏
So you know what I'm talking about when I say I wanted to get up and worship! Thank you for sticking with me through the change and know that it is people like you that make all "this" worth my while!
What you are describing is very close to what I felt at David Bowie concert I attended and will never forget. Bowie's music and the people around me brought that energy. You describe it perfectly at 8:53 onwards. I felt very open to Bowie's vibes at that moment 😄! It could never happen to me in a religious gathering, I would have to attend one in the first place, and unless Ganesha's personally calling me, it will never happen ! 😀

Oh now I have to go and look up what Episcopalian is! LooooL ! !
@@soulshifter1111 I’m an Episcopalian/Anglican. Methodists are an offshoot of Anglicans.
As an Episcopalian this made me LOL! Too true.

YES! It happens at music concerts! Thanks for reminding me.
Love your stories, but the music is a distraction and detraction from your insights. Peace, S
Thank you so much! yeah a few people say the music is a distraction so moving forward I'm gonna ditch the choons.
