Gol Gumbaz is the tomb of Mohammad Adil Shah, 7th sultan of Adil Shahi Dynasty. It is located in Vijayapura / Bijapur, Karnataka. Construction of this tomb was started in 1626 and completed in 1656. It is built in Indo-Islamic architecture style. The dome is second largest in the world after the dome in Vatican city
In the whispering gallery, which is in the seventh floor, even a slight whisper by someone standing in its gallery can be heard everywhere else in the gallery provided it is not over crowded. If someone shouts it is echoed at least 7 times

Ticket price: 25 Rs
