Perhaps most likely there wasn’t enough reference material on their end? It could be a possibility But I sure hope this is just a prototype.Also Hiya does listen to their consumers and fans so most likely before they release they figure officially,they would by then have improved the sculpt like how they usually do OR do an updated version separate from the first to rectify their mistakes like their 2021 gvk Godzilla
yeah that's why i'm not as concerned about it looking it off cause they usually make changes to their figures, I think the biggest thing to me is that the figure looks different in like multiple photos as if they have like multiple different prototypes but it could be the angle or the way it's shot that's throwing me off lol. About the reference material that does make sense even sh has had to work with what they got and use the short amount of references they had for example the monsterverse kong, apparently they just used references from his skeleton rather then the cgi model.
