Don’t use camera covers‼️‼️‼️ MacBooks are designed to Have a very tight and exact seal when it’s closed so the bump from the camera cover can crack the screen and ruin ur mac! Same for keyboard covers and any accessories that go in the inside of it
Agreed on camera covers - always better leave the Retina screen alone…although now with the notch they’re not directly on the screen, so I’m not so sure - but *silicone and TPU keyboard covers* (which by the way do *_not_* go “in the inside” of the Mac) *won’t do absolutely anything* to your Mac; on the contrary they’ll save your Mac from dust, crumbs, liquid spills, etc. I’ve used silicone keyboard covers on all my Macs, and I’ve never had the slightest issues - no issue will ever come from a paper-thin, super soft, super flexible piece of silicone.
@@LucienSabre this is not true!! NOTHING should be used inside the laptop because it can damage the screen for the exact reason the original commenter said. these keyboard covers can also cause condensation to build up under the covers and get into your computer’s innards. It also gives you a false sense of security that you’re protecting your laptop from spills and such, but it doesn’t really do that. People have also had issues with it making their laptop overheat and damage the battery. Apply has even said that these keyboard covers are not recommended because of all the reasons they can damage the laptop. Snap on covers are also a no no (also a big no from Apple) because they can damage your screen from the clips and if you drop your laptop, it will actually damage the laptop from pressing into it. They also damage the hinges overtime because MacBooks are very specifically designed so that the weight of the top half is perfect to not loosen and damage the hinges, so adding weight (even tho it doesn't seem like a lot) can damage and loosen the hinges overtime. They do more harm than good. Just be careful with your expensive tech and get a cushioned sleeve to put it in when you aren't using it. thought I should mention that skins are fine if you want to protect from scratches to the metal, they don't harm it in any way because they're effectively just durable stickers :)
@@LucienSabre also no one literally means "on the inside" as in inside the shell. This just means "inside" when the screen is closed. So between the screen and keyboard. any accessory for this area is a big no unless you want to damage your mac
WOW!! Where did you get that ink to erase your info from the package labels??
I got it from Taobao! I think you can search for "thermal paper eraser".
@@imsherlene thank you!! I definitely need to get that for myself! Loved the video :)

Ohh! Thank you for letting me know!! I'll take them off.
@@imsherlene I recommend just using a sticky note or something like that because it’s thin enough to not do anything 🥰

What specific model is your Logitech mouse?
It's M221 SILENT WIRELESS MOUSE, this is the cheapest wireless mouse I can find in the store. It's okay for daily use but def not for gaming.
What is your monitor?
It's from Prism+ but I'm not sure of the model, I think it's one of the lower end one.
Great video. I use the same mechanical keyboard and I love it 💖👌😋
It looks so awesome 😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰👌👌👌👌
