Works really good for hvac equipment as well, when inspecting heat exchangers for cracks on gas furnaces as well as airflow restrictions on evaporator coils. I love this tool!
I’ve got 2 of their video scopes. One with a 5mm camera and one that has 3 cameras in the head. They do make really good borescopes at a great price! I’ve been wanting one of these also. I appreciate you taking the time to review it.
How important is it to you that you have that 5.5mm lens? I think I want the smaller lens just in case I need it that small but not sure it's necessary. How has it been in your experience?
That is a nice scope! Seeing that end turn like that means being able to see in tight places like the cylinder area as you've shown. A time saver, no doubt!
If its articulated 180 degree, it would be much wider- so articulating is senseless inside narrow tubes or cavity. Teslong has a 3 lens td500, whre side lenses are focused from 1 cm. i think much more useful
Hey all. I recently purchased this borescope on amazon. I can't seem to contact the seller or customer service on amazon. I just tried the official website so maybe they will get back to me. The temperature on my screen is not accurate. Reads much hotter than room temp and seems to heat up with the flashlight. I did not purchase the tool for this but I would like to know if this is normal. My camera came charged up from amazon also. Not sure if it was opened previously. Also, the thumbwheel is a bit noisy. like it needs some lubrication. Just trying to figure out if this is normal or not before my return window expires. Thanks everyone!
Really nice Bro. Many months ago I bought the Ralcam version that uses the cell phone as the screen and to record. Works really really well but seeing the price of this one makes me wish I had waited. Lol I think I would have preferred the built in viewing screen instead. That's really nice Mario 😎👍 Cheers Brother
Good review, I have the older one that has a really LONG camera, with 3.5 ft and it was awesome to have, just extremely uncomfortable because of how long it is, and it was kinked after a few months, stopped working last year because the camera finally broke inside at the kink. But will be getting this one for sure.
I have the older one with alternate side view. Love that tool. I'm glad to see you purchased this for your arsenal but even better that you're reviewing it. I agree about the case. I rather have that type vs the plastic case my Teslong came with. 1 drop and it might destroy the latches or crack the case, I feel.
This is some professional Premium endoscope worth the $225 price tag. packed with features, big screen and super clear. does the job greatly and every mechanic and home mechanic should get or have one!

Looks great! I'm trying to decide which style scope to buy next. Does this articulating one have a screw on cap around the camera? Could it use the mirror, hook, and magnet accessories? What resolution is the display? Any info would be greatly appreciated thanks!
@@SuperMarioDiagnostics lol gotcha. I've used the mirror before and yeah an articulating camera looks better as long as there's space. Think I'll invest in this one. Thanks for the response!

@@scientist100 I have seen them also. I’ll have to consider them in the future.

Gracias Mario 👍
I just saw an excellent deal on this and wondered if you had a review on it. Sure enough! The resolution seems impressive.
nice tool , the resolution looks great . This might be my first borescope . The price isn't bad also . Thanks for showing us
Sweet unboxing video, definitely got me interested in one! Looks like it has a great picture, and the articulation is awesome!
Looks a great piece of kit. 👍
The quality is so good that someone could give themselves a colonoscopy after drinking four or five beers (although I wouldn’t recommend doing that).

Can you deem the light on this device also ?
Nice video! Witch model would You recommend? 8,5 or 6,2mm? Many thanks.
You got the 6.2 or 8.5 mm 🤔??
8.5 mm, you can see that due to it having 8 LED's instead of 4 LED's. I just picked one up and it's a great tool.
thanks for video
nice tool Mario
Nice resolution
2 Year update? Still working for ya?
Hello, good morning, I'm from Argentina. Is it normal for the valve to remain open??? I don't understand English but I can appreciate the video

No screw cap or attachments. Honestly ive never used attachments before. I've tried them and they just suck LOL it's a 1080 picture

Just brought it. Been looking for one like this without spending alot of cash
Has it worked out for you?
Just ordered mine! $50 coupon shipped to my front door for $249 only 2 left!
Just picked it up for $150. I have the non articulating Teslong and found it to be awesome
Looks like a very handy bit of kit, will it fit down the smaller (14mm) spark plug holes?
This is a 14mm spark plug here
