Well, the Quattro can take real tight corners, which other trike velomobiles can not do. The Q has more and easy to reach luggage space, because you can lift the rear cover up. You can see this in the video. According to Eva from Velomobile.nl, the Q rolls farther then a trike VM, but she has no more data on speed difference. Velomobile.nl expects then in 10 to 15 years only 4 wheel VM's wil be made and no more trike VM's. So far, the Q is 1000 Euro more expensive then a trike VM. So time will tell.
I have only seen it, touch it, not driven it, I think it is beautiful, the technique looks promising. I must wait until I can get to run a test drive. Until then, I just read what the 10 first owner writes about the Quattrovelo. Hopefully they begin to talk about their experiences There may be a little on the French velomobile forum velorizontal.bbfr.net/t19130-quattro-q4w-nouveau-velomobiel-a-4-roues and the German forum www.velomobilforum.de/forum/ index.php? forums / velomobile.2 /
I wrote a short ride report on my blog at the beginning of the year which should help: sustainablenvironment.wordpress.com/2016/02/20/the-quattrovelo/ I currently own a DF. I am on the order list for the QV.
not sure if you guys cares but if you guys are bored like me during the covid times you can watch all of the latest series on Instaflixxer. Been binge watching with my girlfriend recently :)
+Velostrada, I have to agree with you wholeheartedly: Really beautiful lines. Perhaps a little sweeter with the standard top and without the "Race Hood / Rainhood" top on, and yes, I REALLY want one!
@@johnyang1420 I did indeed! Ordered in early 2018, arrived in December 2018. Two years and nine months later she has 5400 + miles on her. Used mainly during the winter and in the rain, as in the summer it gets a bit sweaty! Absolutely NO regrets about getting her, but expect LOTS of "What the F**K?" moments, and cars that take far to long to pass you, and when they DO, there is a 'phone taking your picture out of the passenger window! Saukki (next comment down), also now has one. If you check out his channel he has posted a number of videos about his Orange QV.
I think it is beautiful, the technique looks promising. However, I have not tried it yet, so how is to ride in the Quattrovelo, I do not know. But it's on my wish list both to try and maybe next velomobile
So beautiful. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
Seems like it's very well finished mobile. The front face and Quest -like hidden front wheels needs a little getting used to
Curious to read your thoughts on the Quattro. How does it compare.

Nice video! What do you think about the QV? Will it be your next velomobile? 😄
