At 4:21 this guys whole body starts to vibrate to the beat. You can see all his muscles shaking! I love that. Truly an awesome performance. This groups videos are amazing!
he male lip syncer is the famous Icelandic-French actor "Tómas Lemarquis" who appeared in american films such as "Blade Runner 2049" and "X-Men Apocalypse".

this album means soooo much to me,,, I listened to it while reading my favorite book last year,, so every time I listen to it - it is like a movie playing in my head!!! aaaah I LOVE IT!
Has anyone noticed that if Nanna sings most of the song, a male lip syncer lip syncs the song? And if Raggi sings most of the song, a female lip syncer lip syncs? I noticed this pattern with most of their lyric videos, except for Organs of course. I love these videos and actors, they go with the emotion of album perfectly ❤️
watching all the lyric videos in a row I realized something, all the actors are fully committed to the lyrics, feeling them, and expressing them. There is no holding back, full commitment which makes their performances so amazing, and hard to do.
3:29 that’s certainly the best part of this song and many others of Of Monsters And Men. How it went from something so powerful and dominant to something so humble and human❤️ I’ll love OMAM forever!
This is my favorite OMAM music Video! He is fantastically expressive and brings out the mood of this song. The song has that undercurrent of aggression and he just channels it like lightning!!! Love everything about this band!
At first I though this person's movements were way too harsh, passionate for this song, but by the end I really felt connected to this expressive dude. He really gets into the lyrics, which is something that's been lacking in the past two lyric videos or so. Really nice job on this one!!
4:20 is my favourite. From what I remember they had they actor listen to the song and just freestyle it. So this video is how the actor interpreted this song.
this band is just on a whole nother level. these vids coupled with OMA&M in general really makes them stand out. Its not about the band, its about the emoion as conveyed by the lyrics as performed by the actors. We are mountains, and we will fear no winter sound.
Honestly, out of all of their lyric videos this might be my favorite, just because of the emotion and passion the actor puts into this video as opposed to the others I’ve seen. This whole video is very raw and down-to-the-bone, something that isn’t as prominent in the other lyric videos.
OMAM are simply fantastic. Their music can touch the heart of the people every song. When I listen to them, I feel always better. So, DON'T STOP DOING MUSIC FOR US, OMAM!!!!

Georgia Wynter they use emotions and don't hold back, little talks is one of there most upbeat songs yet if you know the meaning it makes you tear up a little everytime.
OMAM is one of those few artists whose songs I can like even before listenting to it, totally sure I'm going to like it. They never disappoint me, there's not even one song in their discography I don't like.
I love OMAM so so much. I can't get enough of their music. And I'll forever say they're one of my favorite bands. I saw them live in Mexico City and since then I love them even more.
MHIAA was a lot of fantasy, adventure, and creepiness . that reflected on their music/lyric videos with the adventurous and imaginary animal creature animated stuff. BTS is about human emotion and connection especially in yourself, with darkness and beauty thrown in there. So the lyric videos are deep and personal, with great actors portraying emotion front and center. I'm really curious to see what OMAMs future music will be about :)
Guys, as the fans I believe we need to rally together to get Of Monsters and Men to release Sugar in a Bowl and Beneath My Bed either on their next album or as singles.
Wow I hadn't heard of Sugar in a Bowl before so just checked it out and absolutely love it! It's a lot lighter than their current stuff, its the sort of thing to listen to first thing in the morning to start the day in a good mood. It's so chirpy and involves one of my favourite things - coffee ^_^ I also love how its made a beautiful fun song about everyday things, makes you think of them differently.

Oh Dear MOTHER of GOD. This guy made the end of the song look siniester for me. The way he moves, the way he stares at you. It made me remember Kevin Wendell Crumb from Split. And it reminded me a lot of the main character from a novel Im writing. How he fights against himself and against the whole world at the same time. Its just incredible how much I felt just by listening to this song and staring at this guy.
These people are definitely different from other bands. I just can't explain it. Their sound, their videos, God their lyrics! There isn't a song of theirs i don't love. That's not even normal.
only left we sink, thank you very much, it's awesome this song and the lyric video, I hope very soon the official video of this song, greetings from Mexico, come back again please
I've read one interpretation of this song, it was related to drug abuse, but I didn't completely agree with it. So, if you're interested (and most importantly -- if you could find this comment among 800 others), I could share my vision of this song with you :) Yeah, pretty clear, this song is about slow life (how did I come up with that??????), but as a separate lifestyle. The lifestyle which avoids constant moving -- fast-paced work, going out, loud parties, chasing social media trends -- and aims for silence and tranquility. It's peaceful and fascinating for some, but for many-many people it's just boring, a sign that this person is passive and doesn't have any interests. "What are they talking about // On the weekends? " -- 'slow-living' people do not like gossips and small talks with no meaning, so they just can't understand how others do it pretty well and even enjoy it. Like... you don't have anything meaningful to talk about, how do you manage to talk anyway? Do you find that interesting? How??? "Why are they shaking their heads? // We're stuck in slow life" -- of course, not everyone understands this lifestyle, thus they openly criticize it. And 'slow-living' people listen to them and start actually doubting themselves, thinking that there's something wrong with them. They start believing slow life is bad, and they don't enjoy it anymore -- they feel like they're stuck in it, they want to get out. "We're slowly sailing away // Behind closed eyes // Where not a single ray of light // Can puncture through the night" -- these people are highly creative, so they very often dive into their head, their thoughts, their world. They dive so deeply that they stop noticing what's going on in real life -- including those rays of sunlight. "You caught me in the tide // And I caught you" -- in this line tide is a tide of feelings, as these people are indeed emotional. So here I imagine a couple, boy and girl. They hide their feelings, as they usually hide them in that big fast-moving world. But then something happens, emotions boil over -- and they finally show their _real_ selves, the boy and the girl. "You saw me in new light // And I saw you". It's like a shocking revelation, no one must see this, it's really intimate, but after it they realize they're real soulmates. They're in the same boat. As close to each other as they've never been before. "Between the daylight // And the deep sea // Lies a swarm of silhouettes // Floating aimlessly" -- these silhoutes are, probably, those 'fast-living', extremely going-out people, who are always at the parties, in a company -- a swarm, -- and who don't really have some visions for the future. They just hang out and have fun, that's all, nothing more. Aimlessly. On the contrary, "But I’m a mountain // I am a killer" -- the singer, who is 'slow-living' here, always goes towards their goals, steady as a mountain, determined as a killer. "You’ll get lost and buried deep // If you swim with me" -- this lifestyle isn't for everyone. The singer fears that if someone decides to stick to 'slow life', stick to them, they'll find nothing but boredom and disappointment, especially comparing to that 'fast-moving' world full of energy. "So look at you, look at me // All because we need to know // So look at me look at you // All because we’ll never know" -- throughout the life, they always seek the answers. The answers to the really deep questions, such as "Why do I live?", "What is my place in this world?" etc.. Maybe everything that happens to them in their life is a result of this search for the answers. But, of course, to find these answers isn't easy at all, they won't find it soon -- that's what probably pushes them forward and forward. Of course, that's only my vision, my interpretation may have plenty of flaws. But it's mine, and I love it. :) P. S. I wanted to go to bed early today, but I spent too much time typing this. Looks like I won't sleep well tonight, but this song is worth it.
I think this is pretty on point, I mean i dont necesarilly agree with what the song was intended to adress or be related to, but its a good interpretation
I saw an interpret above said and explained pretty well about how this song related to EUPD. I am pretty convinced with both that one and your answer. Thank you for sharing a nice view
This song makes me think of borderline personality disorder. These are just my opinions and generalized view of those with this personality disorder. Not everyone will fit into this. People who suffer from their disorder go from zero to one hundred, so that along with the impulsiveness would make it difficult to just sit around and talk about plans for what to do that weekend. And so it's this thinking that can bring others to disapproving of them since most people can't exactly understand the intense emotions that people with BPD have. They're black and white thinkers, with no space for grey. People with BPD also do tend to self-medicate with various drugs and alcohol, so maybe that's being referenced as "slowly sailing away." People who have BPD also, 9 times out of 10 self-harm. Anyway, people with the disorder often have very intense but short-lived relationships with people. Often having extreme issues with abandonment--whether it's justified or not. The rest of the song seems to translate (for me anyway) into those who know that they have this disorder and although they really want to be with someone, maybe they believe that it'll end poorly no matter what. It's possible that by the end, they're talking about how some people with the disorder just don't try to be in a relationship with anyone. It's a pretty intense road to "normalcy" in the case of BPD. There isn't just one medication and a ten week therapy session that can help get someone to a normal state of mind. The severity obviously plays a huge role here, but those who have intense BPD could end up having to attend DBT (a form of behavioral therapy) for years if not most of their life. And with medication, there's a cocktail of pills that people have to take alongside trial and error.
I feel u, my dear! ...what I think, is really beautiful about BPD is the deepest depth of our emotions... So much to live and we are stucked in slow life. Take care❤️🌞
i never saw another band like omam. their song always touch somewhere in my soul and my heart that i just don't know how to explain. I JUST LOVE THEM

What are they talking about
On the weekends
Lost in the forest of this heart

Why are they shaking their heads
We’re stuck in slow life
Is it the beating of the chest
That makes us fear the rest
We’re slowly sailing away
Behind closed eyes
Where not a single ray of light
Can puncture through the night
You caught me in the tide
And I caught you
Sheltered by the night
Red In tooth and red in claw
You saw me In new light
And I saw you
Sheltered by the night
Red in tooth and red In claw
Between the daylight
And the deep sea
Lies a swarm of silhouettes
Floating aimlessly
But I’m a mountain
I am a killer
You’ll get lost and buried deep
If you swim with me
You caught me in the tide
And I caught you
Sheltered by the night
Red in tooth and red in claw
You saw me In new light
And I saw you
Sheltered by the night
Red In tooth and red in claw
So look at you look at me

// If you swim with me" -- this lifestyle isn't for everyone. The singer fears that if someone decides to stick to 'slow life', stick to them, they'll find nothing but boredom and disappointment, especially comparing to that 'fast-moving' world full of energy.
"So look at you, look at me
// All because we need to know // So look at me look at you
// All because we’ll never know" -- throughout the life, they always seek the answers.
P. S. I wanted to go to bed early today, but I spent too much time typing this. Looks like I won't sleep well tonight, but this song is worth it.
Its an interesting one tho
Nice one
I think this is pretty on point, I mean i dont necesarilly agree with what the song was intended to adress or be related to, but its a good interpretation
I saw an interpret above said and explained pretty well about how this song related to EUPD. I am pretty convinced with both that one and your answer. Thank you for sharing a nice view

Timeless perfection. Fucking hell I've listened to this band every day this year so far haha, 2023 btw
How about "completely emotionless" and "without" soul peoples?Like élite soldiers and others
When music and raw visual emotion come together to create perfection.
