- 4k video. Riding at rampart range with some random dudes who both had Yamaha 250's. I am on a 2008 Honda CRF450r. there bikes were lighter and easier to ride through the trails so I was trying my hardest to keep up. They gave me a run for my money for sure as I was out of breath at the end. It was fun as hell though and would recommend this to any one who loves speed.

Its been years since we rode there. Awesome trail ,great place to eat. Moved out of state years ago. Great memories.
Last one to Sprucewood Inn buys a round for the house. The good ol days.
That is an AWESOME video! One of the best I’ve seen in Rampart. Thanks for sharing!
I remember sitting on the ground in front of that fence at the Sprucewood with a broken hand, while my buddies went back to get the trucks during the 1998 Poker Run...good times lol.
That’s crazy, 1998 lol 3 years after I was born and that place is still awesome! You rode with a broken hand?
@KillerC0mpany limped it out in 1st most of the way...there were a couple sections my buddy had to ride my bike. Just rode Noddle and 650/675 last weekend, and not a lot has changed...thanks for posting the video!
Awesome video! I never knew there was a trail directly across from the bar!
Love this trail, but always worried about head ons
Last time I rode that trail had one wide open in forth gear. No time to brake came to a dead stop, bend his radiator with my foot. Luckily my foot peg hit his frame and took most of the force. The worst part is the bar was closed that day, trails just opened for the season! 🤦🏽♂️
What trail is this??
@@kendallharvey9483to the bar is 673. Off mayyybe 674 I think
Beautiful scenery
Watched this last night, before we ran this section today. What took you 6 mins, took me 9, with no oncoming riders and going as fast I comfortable could. You guys were impressively fast!!
Thanks man, with more practice and more time out there, you’ll get faster and faster. Week days are the best when no ones out there!
Definitely. We arrived at 7:50 am and it was super quiet (saw an elk on 787). My first time at Ramparts, but I imagine the weekend is pure chaos anywhere near a main trail.
@@chapmandb yeah lots of atv’s on weekends, I’m going tomorrow to explore more trails, there endless out there
Looks like a fun trail!
One of many!
Definitely a cool looking trail! Your buddy, in the blue shirt needs to tune his rear suspension. His back wheel is bouncing all over the place.
Edit: just seen this is a 3 year old video lol your blue shirt buddy probably doesn’t even have the bike still 😅
Those guys were randoms I met on the trail, wish I knew who they were but yes you can tell it bounces a lot, it may have been set up for track use
That was fast. Which trail? Can you remember the number?
Bro, y'all are FLOWING
All about that flow state!
All about that flow state!
What up nice vid! I’m taking a road trip from Texas to come ride this place at the end of May. Are there any Facebook groups you’d recommend of people that frequent this place??
Your going to have a blast dude! But yes Facebook has a group for it
RRMMC
I also recommend the Public group: Colorado Dirt Bike Riders
You can search in there for videos of Rampart Range to get a idea of it before going, plus other really cool places to check out!
Don’t forget your camera! Some trails take you to the top of lookout rocks,
( PS They do patrol the Mountain as well so make sure your bike has a resonator in the muffler so it doesn’t shoot out hot carbon chunks when ripping it, One side of the mountain all burned one year because of it so now their strict on them but Makes sense, so just a heads up)
@@KillerC0mpany dope! Can’t wait bro I appreciate the helpful info
Looked for the fast part. Was it how fast you drank your beers?
Haha I know it wasn’t fast compared to how I ride now, that was probably my 3rd time there and still learning to ride
What trails are these and What state?
This is all at rampart range OHV parking, it’s a whole trail system in Colorado, kinda outside of Colorado Springs area. Very popular place on the weekends
