Great job @Shane.Just a suggestion, when you import app , no need to import each flow. App zip file contains all objects including flows. only the connections need to be created manually in new environment

You are truly one of a kind, Shane! QQ-I am just looking to take a component library from one environment I built and move it into another environment my app is published in now and I cannot find ANY guidance on how to accomplish this without recreating the component in the new environment-can you validate there is not an easy “copy” “paste” ability before I take the time to rebuild my components? Hi Shane, This process is nice and easy when you only have a few flows in your destination environment but what about if you have a few hundred flows in your environment? When you import a package in order to update an app, you have to search through a random list of all your flows to select he one you want to update. Even with a naming convention it is a maddening task to find the correct flow in the random list. Is there a better way to do this? It seems crazy that the list cannot even be sorted alphabetically.

I can't remove the list as a source because we need to keep our App's form live basically all the time and that sounds risky. The error:
The sharePoint request failed with error: '{"odata.error":{"code":"-1, Microsoft.SharePoint.SPConnectorException","message":{"lang":"en-US","value":"An App already exists for this list. Remove the existing App before adding a new one."}}}'. The correlation Id is '[redacted]'

When you are ready to move to the production data, hook it up and duplicate your customizations and such and once tested with the production setup, get rid of the dev screens, controls and data sources.

Another great video Shane. One issue I've found with this process is when using Azure SQL Database data sources (don't know if it's the same with on-premise SQL). I've developed an app in a dev environment against a dev database. When I export/import to my production environment I can select the production database (exactly the same schema as the dev database) and it appears to switch it over. However, it doesn't quite get it right - it shows the correct database reference in the data source, but they all report bad database connections on all tables/view. I have to edit the app in the production environment, delete all the SQL data sources and add them back in again - then it works fine! Have you come across this?

Hi Shane. I consistently get the error "Flow save failed with code 'DynamicOperationRequestClientFailure' and message 'The dynamic operation request to API 'sharepointonline' operation 'GetTable' failed with status code 'Unauthorized'." when attempting to import a flow that was exported from a different tenant. I think that the issue is that the flow is trying to access SharePoint lists that don't exist in the new tenant. Is there an easy way to export SharePoint lists? It was always possible to export and import .stp files, but Microsoft have take that away. Any ideas?

Did you try going into the flow and checking the connection on the SharePoint actions? That would be my first stop. I would also verify the action has the correct URL and List for your new tenant.

@@ShanesCows Hi Shane. Thanks for the quick response! :)
Well, that's the thing: the new tenant does not have the correct lists for the flow to connect to. How can I copy the lists from the old tenant so that my flow will import successfully?

I spent a lot of time building out a PowerApp in the Microsoft 365 Developer Program. I was told it was easy to migrate everything I create to a new purchases license environment when the time came. Now that I've purchased a 365 Business Standard license, I tried to migrate everything to the new license. My first problem is that I can't figure out how to copy over my large sharepoint list, which has lots of detailed formatting. I ended up spending the time to replicate it in my new environment. Then, I moved the PowerApp using the Export Package your describing. The Sharepoint List does not show up as a related resource during export. I exported it anyway. Then, imported it to my new environment. It had lots of errors. I tried to re-establish connections to my new list in the destination environment. Long story short, I've worked on this all day and can not figure it out. If you could do a video on this, it would be much appreciated. It seems like Microsoft would offer a simple way to move all of my work from my Trial Developer Environment to my new purchased environment.

Hi Shane, first thanks so much for your videos. I am a long-time computer scientist but completely newbie to PowerApps. This video should help me but it doesn't completely cover the problem I need to solve. I explain my need. To help an extended project team in a major deployment in the healthcare world, I implemented, for the first wave of deployment, the solution presented as an example in Teams: "Issues management". We start the next waves with a load increase and we organize with subgroups. So I want to reproduce the operation in the same team. In summary, I would like to deploy this application several times in the same teams, in different channels, with different datasource (for the paramters) and being connected to a different planner.
The best solution I could find is a kind of hack: export the application, then unzip and modify XML files. Could you guide me on the subject?
    Many thanks in advance
    Michel
