Great video Martial and I absolutely love seeing some of the slightly older boxers! Whitaker was an utter beast back in the day! Nice job staying patient and letting your opponent work themselves into gassing out. I wish there was a way to unlock the weight class restrictions in this game so you could do match ups such as smallest vs tallest boxer etc.
If his AI was realistic, the rapid ledt hooks would be an instant KO. They were so fast and hard, fighters couldn't anticipate the second hook to be just as hard and instant.

I enjoyed FNR 4 way more than I did champions, it feels way less arcade-y and if you can fine tune it in the options the punches will actually carry some weight in them. Getting some sliders from the forums like OperationSports makes the boxers fight a bit more realistic (punch output etc) and makes the power much more realistic/devastating
Used to love playing this game! Don't play anymore as I don't have the right console now. My created fighters on Xbox360 are amazing though and insanely realistic! (WhitePony661... that's my user). I remember this game being too easy even on the hardest difficulty, but luckily you can adjust sliders to a good extent. You can adjust sliders in the game, aswell as in the fighters themselves (how often they jab or uppercut etc...) which really helps to make the game more realistic and more difficult also. I can't wait for the day they release a new boxing game that lives up to FNC only with better graphics. The creation sharing mode was perfect, I basically lived on this game, spending days customising my fighters to have their latest gear and latest stats, but sadly there hasn't been any new game since
You should make an OWC(online world championship) character martial! It’s a great mode that still has an avid online community as well. It would also give us great content for sure! Just watch out for spammers LOL

Overhand straights can take care of most of the AI from any weight class. For the rest it’s liver shots. Blocking against AI should be a last resort. Robinson is amongst the easiest to take out. He can be handled in the first round 9/10 times. Online players usually come with flurries unless you have someone who’s actually trying to box. Otherwise they brawl. Ali is mostly predictable. You can still lose to any AI though. Difficult AI are not difficult in skill but rather stamina and their combo count. Ali has long strings of combos and one shots. Other times he gets a combo going then lunges or a abruptly stops. Ali mostly throws straights and jabs, so liver shots and counters will handle him. If you practice bob and weaving you can drain an AI’s health and stamina to half or just about half even in the highest difficulty by the end of the second or third round. Other AI takes longer because they’re are patient fighters like Jack Johnson. He throws the bare minimum so counters is key with him and his stamina is amongst the best in the game. I’m no blind fighter with this game as I’m not a fan blind social gamers, hate playing ppl online. So I like local play games or game modes. I just play the he’ll out of the AI with this particular game. Pressure fighters like Pacquiao can be handled with counters like uppercuts and body shots like liver shots. Repeat this and you’ll see the AI act completely different after taking too much damage too quickly.
The AI is not a psychic counter puncher like in UFC 3 and it boxes and moves and goes on the offensive more - which is good. Whoever programmed the way the AI moves in UFC 3 needs to NOT do it in UFC 4. I am all for a challenge, but an opponent that can perfectly counter you the split-second you press a button is totally unrealistic and bloody annoying. My theory is that as soon as you move you are basically telling the AI what you are doing, and it reacts in a split-second as soon as you perform any kind of offensive move, and the psychic leg-checking is !!*******!! aarrrhhhh - i think you know what i mean yes?

So it would be impossible for a fighter like Pernell Whitaker who isn't a puncher to stop him. But that's the fun of playing video games! All the 1 on 1 dream matches become actual reality to the fans!
I know this is off topic but does ea game face still work? I've tried it on 3 different browsers and I get the same error "There was an error uploading your photos and generating your Game Face. Please try again."
I've noticed something now watching this. When I play this game I'm mostly focused on winning and getting quick knockouts cause idk wtf I'm doing most of the time. I'm throwing punches constantly randomly, moving around alot and quickly, not really knowing how to add power to punches. All that adds up to me eating up my stamina then getting beaten. I've never won an online match sadly cause I suck 😂. But watching this I notice how slowly you are taking things. Throwing a couple punches maybe a combination here and there time from time. Waiting for the opponent to wiff a punch before countering. Keeping up your block. I'ma have to start taking notes and pick up the game again.
Honestly I think you need to adjust the stamina slider for the CPU if you're going to do 3 minute rounds. The game is not balanced well enough. I'd rather see you beat someone while they're still dangerous rather than after their hands turn into pillows because that's not how it works in real life.
