Correct. Using the coefficient 1.524 is assuming that the courses per unit length have NOT been converted from inches to cm. For his practice problem, the courses should've been given in courses per inch instead of courses per cm.

A 38 mm dia circular knitting has 4needle/cm. stitch length is 6mm. wale constant is 42.2. find out the flat fabric width in relaxed state

Yaa correct so you have to simply covert into cpi 😊
