As a chef, and someone that's been in the industry 8yrs. I have to say everything they said it's true. But it can also be the absolute most fun you've ever had. It's an amazing job but it can also be hell. You have to love it to love it.

The worst job I’ve had was as an AmeriCorps member last year where I got a nibble of what it’s like to be a teacher. There were like 5 kids in the third grade who could recognize letters due to all of the kids being pushed forward because of the pandemic. On top of that kids just don’t listen and I was so mentally drained that I quit 3 months in and went back to fast food.

Speaking of Mappa they just recently released a trailer for Chainsaw Man movie for the 2nd arc. I don’t know if I’m happy about this or saddened that they are potentially overworking their team too (I don’t know if it’s only JJK or it effects other anime’s too that comes from Mappa)

Being a chef is incredibly stressful. I know it because my brother tried to be a chef and he couldn't handle the mental exhaustion. Hed smoke a pack of cigarettes in a single day to cope with it. Not to add your employer tries to milk you for all the hours they can.

Having nothing to do at work is definitely worse. I work at a plant and the most torturous station I’ve been at is the one with minimal work. I was practically just standing there for 10 and a half hours. If I didn’t have service to watch UA-cam videos I would’ve cried. This is why I can’t work security.

To be fair these episodes are paid for with the monthly membership. So that means they get more profit for less episodes on that month
I'm an English Teacher part-time and I've been doing it for 4 years and 8 months. It sucks and feels like a waste of time.
Also speaking on Mappa staff, that's the norm here in Japan. They get overworked and the pay is crap. The current state of the economy doesn't make it any better either.
I've never been a manga reader just an anime watcher because the manga readers be mad toxic.

One of the characters in the show cant remember her name but she was trying to experiment a new system with the restaurant by allowing online orders but the system glitched out in a way where they couldnt stop the orders coming in so a small restaurant got overloaded with like 90 orders coming as online requests while also having people coming in person making orders so he was like stressed tf out cuz that bitch fucked up😭😭😭😭shit I'd curse mfs out too

In Japan it's common to work 10 hrs daily so they're not slaves just regular workers
They're not working just 10 hours a day and they are like slaves. Even then for regular workers the amount of work they have to consistently do with their low wage, they might as well be slaves too
