@@wondervids9486 She was an actress well known for playing Princess Leia in the Star Wars films from 1977-83 and also for voicing Angela in Family Guy. She died five years ago from cardiac arrest.
Huh? That was Carrie Fisher? I would not have recognized her, with her voice sounding so nun-like, instead of her usual raunchy tone (or Princess Leia's sarcastic tone).
OH my gosh, I just realized that when Lucy says “thornbirds” it was a reference to an old series called “The Thorn Birds” about an attractive priest that fell in love with a woman but they had to live apart and keep their relationship secret because he wanted to be the pope. Those Thorn Bird recommendations from yt actually came in handy!
At first glimpse, the orphanage scenes (where the girls dress up like nuns) look very much like they were filmed at an actual convent. The real location couldn't be further removed from convent life. Those scenes were actually shot at the Playboy Mansion, Hugh Hefner's infamous den, located at 10236 Charing Cross Road, in Holmby Hills.
Fun fact : Carrie Fisher was in the 80s movie The Blues Brothers. In that film, Jake and Elwood are called to move closer by Mother Superior and they shuffle forward in their chairs which is recreated in this film sequence starring Carrie Fisher as Mother Superior.
It's kind of weird what I'm going to say but: when I was younger I had a crush on him. That villain. What does not speak. I can't say why. He's very strange. Like Sir, what a super strange man. But I always have.
The music in the background in the beginning is from Sound of Music when Maria and the kids play this song with the puppets for the Baron. It's called "The Lonely Goatherd! That is awesome!

Joseph Harris Thornbirds. in ref to the movie and book where a girl falls in love with a priest. The whole story is a tragic disaster so basically what Lucy's character is saying is "Girl, don't even go there!"
Fun fact: the filming location of the Catholic school is actually the Playboy Mansion. Oh the irony lol
And drugged up Carrie Fisher plays figure who is symbol of virtue... The irony is getting bigger 😂
R. I. P. Princess Leia 😟
Jacob Cannon lmao that explains the magazine brand at the beginning 😏
And you have 786 like what a great God coincidence
I knew it! Hahaha because I saw the video of Weezer Beverly Hills and it was the sameeeeee
.
The boy looks like tom riddle or younger version of Voldemort
Both are the same. And Tom was actually quite good looking when he was normal.

Same.
Now THIS is a Charlie’s Angels movie, bursting with saturated color and quirky humor!
but carrie fisher
The irony of Carrie Fisher playing a nun. Love it. I wish these Angels had gotten a third movie.
Who is Carrie Fisher?

Not the first time either. Lol

wow. I did not believe you at first! I totally did not recognize her.

Thank you for explaining!
@Henry Hightower oh my gosh that’s so cool!

That's actually hilarious. Just bestfriends supporting their bestfriend's horniness, we love to see it
the directing and writing in this movie is so goofy and funny. and a carrie fisher cameo?! underrated gem
2:07 I would confess all of my sins to him
I would commit all my sins WITH him!
🤣
Amen.
And make new ones hm? XD
Forgive me Daddy for I've been a naughty girl
Their chemistry was amazing. That’s what made the film great, all strong indistinct personalities
Is no one gonna talk about how the background music is part of Sound Of Music a film in which julie andrews was a former nun lol
Thats the joke
Lol was waiting for someone to comment it 😂

They're reading playboy and this was apparently filmed at the playboy mansion
yeah were ten times worse than those kids, I'm in a catholic school run by a kind nun but we are such demons dressed in innocent high schoolers

You didn't have to add the address, but you did. And I am happy that you did.
The sound effects kill me every time

What their are it of low key references ik reading about within the comments. This director was 💣
I freaking love these movies. Idk why but they’re so funny to me, especially Drew Barrymore’s character.
He is really an angel.. and lucy’s face

I don't get how he did that back flip out of the chair
romanian circus was mentioned i think
But I do
Circus family
Lmao looks satanic to me
He was possessed😆
1:23 hahahahahahh THAT FACE 😊❤😊❤
When he back flipped, sniffed the hair, and started screaming😂😂
I always burst out laugh when I remembered the actor who played Thin Man is the same actor who played George McFly in Back To The Future
What?!!!! Jesus, I never realized this! XD
I knew, but wow, what a contrast in characters.
I have an odd love for his character

Anthony was the most iconic character!! Great job.
Mr. Thin cracks me TF up with that haircut scene😂😭 I come back to that moment OFTEN🤣
recent charlie's angels could never recreate such legendary scenes
For some reason it really tickles me at 0:43 when she slaps down the yardstick and makes Dylan pop her gum 😂😂😂
"Well not really that much except for the odd haircut now and then"
i dying 😂
I’ve always imagine Thin Man in a spin-off movie from Charlie’s Angels if he survived
There was actually one planned, but it was never made. Shame if you ask me
carrie fisher♡

Drew's character smirks after that line, just picturing him getting off to it.
I wonder who the child actor is for this scene. Creepy.
I love the funny sound effects when Lucy Liu and Cameron Diaz turns there heads pissed off at Drew barrymore at 0:45.
Did anyone notice that the lonely gothered from the sounf of music was playing on the backround?
Fun fact: This scene is an homage to the nun scene in “The Blues Brothers” in which Carrie Fisher starred as “mystery woman”.
The orphanage scene with Kathleen Freeman
This is clearly a detective category movie, really disappointed over how 2019 wants to cash in with ongoing spy genre trend.
RIP
Carrie Fisher

I didn't know it was Carrie Fisher that was the head nun, I've seen this movie 50 times.
the sound effect still gets me to this day hahahahaha
0:29 Blues Brothers inside joke when Jake and Elwood push their chairs close to the Penguin! Carrie Fisher plays Jake ex-wife!
Little boy wandering the hills eating roots and insects in a suit. Nothing weird about that.
They found his location by analyzing bird poo 😂

that nun who is dressed in black wereing glasses reminds me of carrie fisher
jamesjrpaul 007 it’s her
not me learning this was carrie fisher. her second role as a nun. rip legend.
The desk thing was pretty funny considering it's a take on the blues brothers
The Thin Man and his weird hair cutting fetish was pretty much what saved these movies in my opinion. Though I love watching Sam Rockwell dance...
I think I do notice a nice little nod to the Blues Brothers at 0:32...
I just noticed that was Carrie fisher cutting his hair when he was younger omg
Crispin played this role so great 😂😂
What did Lucy Liu say to Drew Barrymore when she replied with "I know"?

The sound of music in the background 😂
Hey! Isn't that Carrie Fisher; our beloved Star Wars Princess Leia??!!
Princess Leia being strict towards Gertie (from "E.T.").
"Mother, do you recognize this man?"
"Oh, wait a minute. You shouldn't think about men!"
I just realized mother superior is Carrie Fisher lol rip
“Living off roots and insects.” 🤣😅
The Playboy Mansion...ironic😂😂
Did it never occurred to the Mother Superior to you know... do an exorcism as soon as he jumped in the chair with her hair?
I remember my m8 Duncan & I laughing our asses off (for about 20 mins) in the cinema at the scream 1:49
What is up with the cartoony misplaced sound effects?
What you seen this movie? It defies logic and the laws of physics.... So I ain't out of place....
I think its supposed to be a parody of the three stooges?
The “sound effect” is from the sound of music m
