When i got my first job/began college i was bummed i wouldn't get to play with my xbox live buds i had been playing with since halo 2-3 days. 3-5 times a week for about 6 years.
It slowly turned to one night a week with all of our separate adjustments calling us away but boy does that one night a week shine. New stories, new jokes but the same laughs, the same humor and the all too familiar bad mics.
Every couple months we take time to still get together after almost 15 years of meeting online.
Find your adjustment, take pride in an ever evolving you & cherish those mfrs.
Then you need to become stronger hero !

I don’t watch anime much.
But a lot of people cling to it as if it’s their escape from life to another reality. A reality they so desperately want to climb into and live in because they despise this reality so much.
Truth is reality is a bad place. Your gonna get knocked down a lot and people aren’t gonna give a shit
But take this from me, someone who’s trying.
Don’t try to escape. Help make it a better place. Trying to escape it into another place that doesn’t exist with characters who don’t even know you isn’t the answer. If we treat reality with all our hatred it’s just gonna get worse and worse. Try and make it the best you can for yourself and for others
Go out and plant some flowers. Walk out downtown and help those small businesses who are struggling. Talk with that one friend you don’t know much about. Ask out that girl you like to some coffee.

Fiercetooth I hear a lot from anime/manga fans the same thing, that their reality bites, so to them anime is life. I can relate because my reality is crud, too, and the cruelty/inconsideration of people (especially trolls online compared to jerks in real life, at least in my own experience) is unbelievable, but, being the age that I am now, I can definitely see your point. This self-imposed isolation is helping contribute to this emptiness we feel when trying to substitute our reality with another one created by somebody else. When you really give it much thought, life in anime/manga is actually just as cruddy, maybe even more so (only the people are a lot cuter). Fiction is based on some reality, after all. Sorry that was so long.
This is so true you can only make something that seems like a challenge even easier for yourself or harder
why not do both? why not have that healthy escape but using what you see there as inspiration to take back into the real world? this is what i do.
