Alumin. doesn't rust - it corrodes. You can also buff it back to perfection - no need to buy a new part. the clutch problem lies with the pushrod parts - either they are inadequately hardened or not being lubricated. The chain and sprocket are rusty = inadequate oil or grease. This bike or model has a general lubrication problem.
Nice work .. Some of the cleanest fingernails I've ever seen on a mechanic :) .. The one thing I do like to do though, is use anti-seize on steel hardware going into aluminum bolt holes ...
You could've just polished the cover though... Then lear coat it if you want it to be maintenance free I don't know how much you earn in an hour, but this probably would've been worth you time

Cool video, what did you use to clean off the old gasket? Looks like a small knife sharpening stone, am I right?
A scraper is used first to peel off the rough gasket, and an oil stone is used for finishing.
@@infinitymotorcycle cool, thanks I’ll have to get one of those stones. Cleaning gaskets off can be a pain and time consuming.

お聞きしたいのですが、プッシュレバーの交換はクランクケース右側を開けずプッシュロッドなどそのままで出来ますか?それともプッシュレバーは右側クランクケースを開けてプッシュロッドを取らないとできないのでしょうか?
はっきりとは覚えていませんが、確かロッドを抜かないと交換できなかったと記憶しております。
