Arrival Ending Scene Rescored // Études No. 2 by Philip Glass

Arrival is a beautiful film with a beautiful original score by the late Jóhann Jóhannsson. Not to knock Max Richter's "On the Nature of Daylight," but I just didn't feel his piece worked for the opening and closing scenes of the film. I decided to re-edit the ending of Arrival with a different piece of music: Études No. 2 - Reworked by Christian Badzura & Vikingur Olafsson, from the album Philip Glass: Piano Works (2017).

How were you able to isolate the dialogue/sound effects audio so well from the film's original soundtrack?

Worked off the 5.1 audio mix, where most (but not all) of the dialogue is focused on the center channel 😁

I want a copy of this movie without the music and I want to re-score it with the music of David Sylvian & Holger Czukay (Flux + Mutability and Plight & Premonition).
