This let's us know that Jesus never told us to not keep the law; but to obey the law and that our righteousness must exceed that of the Pharisees because even though they sat in the seat of Moses and taught others to keep the law; they also formulated their own manmade traditions, which Jesus rebuked them on in Mark 1:7-13, when he stated to them, "7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. 8 For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do. 9 And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition. 10 For Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death: 11 But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; he shall be free. 12 And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother; 13 Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye." Because of our people following the traditions of the Gentiles and Esau, we have been lead astray and have adopted the ways of the Pharisees because we lack knowledge concerning the gospel of Jesus Christ. This is why He also said in Hosea of the Old Testament, which is also future prophesy that my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou has forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. We are the children that have been forgotten and still this day lack knowledge as His people. I really hate it when our brothers refuses to listen to the true prophets of the Most High teach them the true knowledge of obeying Jesus by Keeping His commandments. Commandments, laws, statutes, decrees, works and precepts are listed all throughout the bible and these pastors of Jeremiah 23 refuses to obey them and teach their members to do the same. They have went after the ways of the Gentiles Esau and Ham, which The Most High told us not to do in Jeremiah Chapter 10. He said they were considered unclean (Leviticus 18:24-30; Ephesians 2:1; Hebrews 12:16-17) and so many of our people have adopted their ways and traditions, and are also unclean. They are unrepentant and refuses to be cleansed with the word of the Most High. It is a shame to see this brother claiming to be a child of the Most High behaved the way he just did. He does not even realize that by going to these Sunday churches that he is worshipping the Beast and False Prophet who are Satan's representatives that Christ, Daniel and Apostle John prophesied of and said they will all be in the Lake of Fire (Revelation 20:10). SMH....
