The only way we visit these sites is by watching you. We only use CLs and small private sites now mainly because of the price and the fact that most look like car parks. We went to a cracking site in Yorkshire in September and there where only six of us on it half the price you paid for that, the nearby club site was busy so I guess it’s down to personal preference, keep up the good work we always enjoy your videos.
As for price, quick search, 3 nights, mid week at a travellodge in that general area £31.99 per night. So a bit of gravel, electricity and water only, costs you 1 1/2 times more. Great value and you save on caravan towing petrol as well.
Lovely to see one of our favourite nexk-o-the-woods again (we so need to go there again soon!). But yes, to me, that does look massively overpriced, especially as the pool isn't open (and isn't indoors), with all that sea around, you don't even get a sea view and the toilets needed bringing up to date. Looked fairly standard. Decent vlog, though! Hope Helen's arm isn't giving her too much hip!
Hi both, hope you’re doing well. Bit pricey especially when we know there are some great sites close by much cheaper but it’s location to Cromer is what dictates we think. Hope you make it back to Norfolk soon. Take care, Helen & Dave 👍
Hi Dave and Helen. Great vlog as usual guys. We have been there once, trying to get a re mortgage to visit it again.😂 You are both the same as us, love Norfolk and Suffolk. Great to revisiting nice sites. We love Yorkshire as well. We prefer Sheringham seems to be a nicer atmosphere there. Also home to the poppy line. Said it before but love your animation with the little car and caravan. Look after yourselves guys. Thumbs up thumped 👍 ....Pete and Su....
Hi Pete & Su, always good to hear back from you both. Must say, Sheringham does have a special charm all of its own and the poppy line just gives it the edge for us too. Thanks as always and our best wishes to you. Helen & Dave
Well thank you so much, it’s people like you and the other lovely subscribers and viewers that keep us motivated to keep doing what we do. So glad you like what we do and thanks for your support. ATB, Helen & Dave 😍
Helen / Dave loved this one great fun editing at the end. Over priced club site though I’m sure they could make it better value for the members. Take care Ian
Cheers Ian, yes a little bit of Halloween fun at the end lol. We thought it was a little over the top on price but the place is always busy, we think the location and club/restaurant are the big factors there. Thanks for watching, Helen & Dave
Hi Dave and Helen, It's great to see you enjoying yet another autumn stay. Definitely go for the refashion, I did it in the old van when we bought it, in the way of painting right the way through, and about a year before we changed van's, we got new curtains made from scratch, and just brought them into the new van's lounge area, we only need the tiebacks making now, might even get the bedroom area some new curtains made this winter, oh you scared me again with the picture of Helen at the end, all the best, and safe travels, Neil PS if I remember when I get home from winter pack up trip to the van, I'll email you pictures of the lounge curtains
Hi Neil, well done, it sounds like we're on the same page in terms of interior design refresh etc. (don't mention the ice though lol). Hope we didn't scare you too much. I like to keep a picture of her on the mantle peace to keep the grandchildren away from the fire!! (I'm dead!). Thanks as always, Helen & Dave
Good to see you both at an old haunt….. The club site prices are now well OTT apart from a few instances. Sites such as Seacroft at peak times are crazy, we are doing our last New Year there at close to £300 for 5 nights, although Rowntree, Chatsworth and some other popular sites are also high prices, they seem to be less full than in days gone by. We are not fond of club sites anyway, just that some are ideally situated. Also, we never use the shower block since kids gave up caravanning way back in their teens, so not good value for us. We have first week Dec near York at £26 per night fully serviced hardstanding and will be on a Cromer area CL, again fully serviced hardstanding for 6 nights over Xmas at £24 a night. Winter camping on 16amp hook ups un-metered, bargains!!! Great review for those unfamiliar with the site and to be fair it does have more to offer than the norm, not for us any more though.
Summed up Nicely Mel, thanks. Location, location, location that's what really does it for this site. Like you, we are enjoying private sites and CL's much more. Thanks again, Helen & Dave
How much!!!!!!!!!!..😮😮😮....Personally I think the whole "club" idea is totally out of date these days....hence the fall in memberships. Independants all the way !!!!!.. Never paid more than £35 per night including electric & even through the summer. Some cracking sites out there, (many who have actually ditched the clubs themselves)
Hi Russty, we agree and that's why we visit so many private/Indie sites, better value we think and often with a lot of cute personal touches. We keep paying our membership fees for both clubs but not convinced we are getting value for money anymore. Thanks for watching. Helen & Dave
Still paying for BOTH!!!!!!!!...What!!!!.....lol!!!!!..... Seriously though I think thats what they rely on.....just like staying with the same insurance or utility company......Ive been in both over the years but they seriously do not deserve the exorbitant fees they charge for very little by comparison. That business model has had its day .....a bit like caravan & motorhome dalerships with more and more buyers doing so privately with due diligance & private warranties
We drive past it to go to Incleboro 5 mins round the corner at 2/3 cost. It doesn't have the same amenities but we have always felt seacroft wasn't worth the money. As you know there are also several private sites around at better value.
Hi Patrick, agreed! We’ve had several stays at INCLEBORO but I think they play on the proximity to Cromer with Seacroft. Overpriced is very much our view too. Thanks for watching. Helen & Dave
Hi Dave and Helen as I've said before we used to stay at seacraft every summer but got priced out of it last year would of cost us £83 per night in August full service so thanks to your vlog on deers glade we now go there but that's gone up to £60 a night now
Hi Andrew, we recall you telling us about this earlier in the summer. We think it's a bit OTT but this site is always busy, guess that's why they keep putting the price up! Deersglade is a nice site. Hope you're well. Best wishes, Helen & Dave
Great video Dave, love a visit to Cromer. Personally i think its far too expensive for midweek in October so not one for me. When you look at Sandy Gulls just along the coast at £22 a night its a no brainer. Better sea view as well although obviously no clubhouse and not fully serviced but still really good value.
Morning Andy, completely agree with you. The site is pretty average compared with other CAMC sites it’s clearly all about the proximity to Cromer that makes it so popular and of course the demand drives the price. Thanks for watching, always appreciate your input. Cheers, Helen & Dave
Seacroft is a great site we have been a few times but have always booked early to get in. I do feel the club is out priced now and we use very few CAMC sites now but remain members for other benefits that come with membership. We are currently on a site in Bridlington and paid £41 for the weekend they always have loads of deals on over the winter months
Hi Julie & Andy, I think we're on the same page. You know what you're going to get with a CAMC site but we think they are getting just a little too pricey but obviously they are doing the deals which is great. We tend to use more private sites these days but also like the CL sites. Hope you're enjoying Brid! We did a little Yorkshire tour a couple of years ago around there, Filey, Scarborough, Whitby & York and loved it! Safe travels and thanks as always, Cheers, Helen & Dave
Good video Yes too expensive, but it's like M&S dependable, however, predictable club sites can be boring especially for families, and it's that younger generation, that are not willing to pay these prices, and who can blame them. Guess the status of the present finances in this country, no longer allow budgets, either large or small, to be asked to stretch out that much at this time of year! Whatever we think, we cant get back to pre brexit, but we are certainly paying for it now.
Hi David & Lindsay, yeah a bit steep we thought but this site is always pretty busy! We'll see how we get on with the mats. Thanks for watching, Helen & Dave
Hi helen and dave was looking at this site for next year had mixed reviews so i was unsure handy for cromer though and having a motorhome we can walk into town. Camc sites are expensive but some have new renovated facility blocks and fully serviced comes at a premium,we have enjoyed all our stays at the club sites this year. Sandringham are having an overhaul for next year we are looking at that too. We have rugs down in our van which are washable we dont use the carpets. Your idea about a refurb is good, save your money for more hols and ghost ship lol 😂😂😂 take care xx
Hi Julie, there's nothing wrong with this site, it's perfect for getting into Cromer and it has a bus stop right outside which will take you up and down the coast. We thought it was a little pricey and the toilets are very CAMC, immaculate, warm, hot water but dated. Useful to have a club too. Yep I reckon I can talk Helen into a mini refit for next year, hadn't considered how much extra Ghost Ship I could buy but what a brilliant point! Safe travels and thanks as always, Helen & Dave
Hi both, great video. We think the site is expensive, especially as it is low season. We are away in Suffolk at the moment at another one of the sites you have visited RUN Cottage in Hollesley. A nice site very peaceful and friendly owner's. Thank you for the recommendation of RUN COTTAGE.
Hi Karen, we have stayed at Run Cottage a few times now and it's a great example of how the private sites have become so much more appealing to us. Thanks for your support. Helen & Dave
Can’t believe we met some friends there for lunch on Tuesday 29th October. When were you there? We were staying at Kelling Heath. Really enjoyed our visit to the Wanderer, nice grub. Great video by the way. 👍
Small world Ronnie, it's like we live in the next village!!! lol. We were there the week before that. Good club/restaurant. Thanks as always, Helen & Dave
Sites are too expensive now, I stayed in a Travel lodge in Boston last weekend Three Nights £128 Which included all the bedding, own on suite bathroom , And tea making facility and parking. Cheaper than taking my motorhome. So £48 🤦♂️ they are going the way years ago when they priced their self's out of the market. And Just to add be careful of those mats I had that type in my motorhome and if you leave them down they will sweat and get wet underneath.
Hi Paul, you know there’s a problem when 3 nights in a hotel is cheaper than taking your Motorhome/Caravan away!! It’s getting a bit silly now! Thanks for the heads up on the mats. Cheers, Helen & Dave
Hi Dave and Helen, we love your channel ♥️ Regarding the site tariff, absolutely rip off and worryingly, it seems to be going this direction in other sites too. We have a family of 5 so can’t go midweek, working families are being priced out of caravanning hence the huge amount of stock for sale in dealers. It looks like sites only want the ‘grey pound’. Keep up the good work both xx
Hi Philip, a family caravan holiday should be fairly priced in our opinion. Most caravaners and Motorhomers we know enjoy this leisure pursuit because their parents took them away on these holidays when they were kids. The kids are these clubs future bread and butter. They should be investing in them (the family) not pricing them out of the market. Thanks for supporting what we do. Best wishes, Helen & Dave
Great video as always, I know people will be using more electricity at this time of year but crikey that’s expensive. Especially as that’s the members price. Supply and demand I suppose, the site was pretty busy. Loved the spooky stuff
Hi Dave and Helen. We’ve just finished a seasonal pitch at Yellowcraigs North Berwick. If you want to see antiquated toilet facilities Dave. They’re about as old as Santa Claus. £46 quid during the week really is taking the p#%h out of us. Great vid.
Hi Alan, that's terrible, they really do take the mick and are clearly milking it based on its location. We almost stayed here on our last Scotland tour because we wanted to see Berwick but quite glad we didn't now. Thanks for sharing, Helen & Dave
Another great video from you two, loved the scary ending. Too much money! Average site in a great location, the club house is a bonus but not a member benefit because it’s open to the public. Love the video all the same, love to you both, Steve & Chris
Hi Dave & Helen, We paid £43.80 FS June 2023. A poplar site, especially coastal will always attract holidaymakers regardless of price. Your price is a bit steep for end of October. At least site didn’t look cluttered with the grass pitches out of use. Great touring site though and we love the location 👍. Hope you enjoyed your ghost 👻 walk. Best wishes to you both, Rob & Gail 😀
Hi Rob & Gail, just spoke about you with one of our subscribers suggesting we may need to ditch the Colapz pipes in favour of a more traditional hard waste pipe, like yours 👍 This site is always busy for the reasons you’ve mentioned. Location, location, location! Hope you are both doing well. Take care, Helen & Dave
Great video Dave. Not sure that the site is worth that though. Although we did enjoy our lunch in the club house. We were at Kelling with Connie and Will and we paid just over £35 a night. Fully serviced, hard standing and hedging all around. Think it’s our favourite in North Norfolk. Must catch up soon xxx
Hi Lesley, we're off to Clippesby tomorrow and yes we need to catch up when we can. We think it's over priced and remember the club house/restaurant is open to anyone who wants to walk in off the street so not really a member benefit. We are loving the excellent choice of private sites available atm. Kelling is lovely and £35 is excellent value considering what's on offer on that site. See you soon, Helen & Dave
Hi Helen and Dave another great video I have decided to add Cromer to my list of places to visit it looks lovely and the kind of place we all enjoy visiting as a family - have you ever come across an artist in Cromer called Tony Lee he paints a lot of the seafront and town I’ve known him a long time and he was in the brother lees group! My view on the price would be that I would be happy to pay it for full serviced especially given the fact not knowing Cromer and whilst there would see other options for future visits The location near the town and facilities are an attraction especially with a family and i guess the overheads and operation costs are some of the fees being higher - out of season would be a nice place to be based on a full serviced pitch for a short break away If I knew what I was doing in Cromer I would be happy to look at other sites - I guess the club ones have consistent standards? Go for the winter refit keep the van looking fresh and great! We used to do that with my parents statics! All the best to you both and Bella Daniel
Hi Daniel, thanks as always, we love Cromer and it's convenient for visiting other lovely places in Norfolk too. This site is very convenient for getting in to Cromer too which is why it's always busy and hence the price so you would need to book up. That said, there are plenty of other places to stay very close by so you would have no probs finding a site. Yes, we may look at the winter refit idea. Watch this space! Cheers, Helen & Dave
Hi Dave & Helen The re-fit would be fun to do, you could go for a new style each season if you made them removable 😊 The cost for the pitch is a bit expensive. The spillage could have been worse Dave, it could have been your beer 🍺 😅 Safe Travels 👍
Hi Morag, that’s true thank goodness it was only ice 🧊 😂 Yep we thought it a bit pricey too. Refit sounds like something we need to seriously consider. Thanks for watching. Helen & Dave 👍
Another great vlog.. crikey the price is a bit steep.. even if it fully serviced .. 🤦🏼♀️ .. I’m sure there are better and cheaper .. great bit at the end 👻👻👻keep safe ☺️
Lovely to hear from you Donna hope all is well with you. Yeah bit pricey and there is plenty of choice at better rates but this is the closest to Cromer! Had a bit of spooky fun at the end 😂. Stay safe, Helen & Dave
Ha Ha, hope you & Sue are well Trev and thanks for dropping by. A bit pricey but always busy on this site so that says something. Take care, Helen & Dave
I think market forces will dictate what people will pay , rules of commerce I guess. It seems a little steep , but the overall service offer did look pretty good from your VLOG . We get our membership fees back in discounts we receive from stores like Cotswolds Outdoors and use CL’s , rallies as well as the European Travel Services so we still still club membership is worthwhile . We fancy going there after watching this video . Hope you’re both well. Best wishes H and M Ps we loved the black and white video at the end 😂
Hello H&M, hope you're both well. We think so too, supply & demand and all that and the site remains busy almost all of the year so that says something. We thought it a bit pricey but we've paid a lot more to stay on sites (as you know) as long as you're enjoying it and happy to pay, then that's good. I'm sure we will keep our memberships going but we can count on one hand the number of club sites and CCC sites we have stayed at this year. Glad you liked our fright night feature ha ha. Take care, Helen & Dave
Hi you two, great video again. Site looks good and close to Cromer but no way is it worth that price midweek at the end of October. Can't imagine what the price would be at peak times. Not a patch on some of the sites you've found in Norfolk. Thanks for sharing and enjoy your time ;))
Hi both, I agree that £48.50 is excessive, but the CAMC will charge what they can on popular sites and less on the not so popular. All that said, the effect of either of the clubs going out of business would be devastating for us all. Imagine how busy the private sites would be if they have to accommodate all the people currently using club sites. Somehow we all need the clubs to be successful, or else I see the caravan and motorhome community continuing to dwindle. Great vlog once again. All the best …
So we’ve been to 2 sites that you’ve reviewed, Laburnam and Poppy fields which were really good but doubt we’ll go to this one. £48 + in autumn is pretty poor. We had a fully serviced pitch right on a Loch with a boat ramp in front of us for £40 a night which we thought was as much as we wanted to pay( boat ramp won it )We are off to fully serviced cl pitch in Ingoldisthorpe nxt week for £23 a night, up against Sandringham CAMC £35 a mile away. The club sites are becoming too expensive now especially when you only can count a weekend as being mainly just the Saturday because of the check in / out times. Great vid as usual though. #icegate 🤣👍
#Icegate ha ha ha. Don't! This is possibly why we find ourselves visiting so many private sites these days, we think they are better value but also have some really nice personal touches. Take care, Helen & Dave
No way would we pay that! With the exception of a couple of CAMC sites we are only members for the CLs. Whilst a serviced pitch is great we are happy as long as we have electricity. We use our own facilities so don't need to pay to use showers. We also like small quiet sites and most of the CAMC sites are just like mini housing estates. That said you do know what you get with CAMC and each to their own, we all like something different. Personally though we think they charge too much. Maybe we're just tight northerners!😂
Cas, if you're a tight northerner then so are we. We liked the site but thought it was a little overpriced. We know many people who stay members just to use the CL's and we can count on one hand the number of club sites we have been to this year and we are away most weeks! Thanks as always, Helen & Dave
We were there in July this year and the cost was very slightly higher. We've been twice before, bu ended up with a pitch which was too small for an awning, caravan and awning. Bar was just ok. We would not return.
Hi Helen and Dave, Have always thought Seacroft is overpriced, yes you do get a pool and the clubhouse if thats your thing. But if not you're paying for things you don't use. So for October expensive 😮. Also in summer months it always looks packed in when grass pitches in use. Definitely prefer Incleboro and use the bus into town. Sorry to seem like a grinch 😊. So long has you enjoyed it. Take care and travel safe 🙏. Paul and Joanne 👍 ❤. PS think the makeover idea is great. Dave the interior designer 👌
Hi Paul & Joanne, talking of interior design, hope you noticed our 3 amigos by the front window. still taking pride of place lol. Yeah, we thought it was a bit steep, but we wanted to try a different site as we have only stayed here once before. We think Inceleboro is a nice site but we do struggle with O2 signal there in parts. Hope you're both keeping well. Best wishes, Helen & Dave
@HelenandDave Hi, yes, we did notice thanks, glad you're still enjoying them. Have you ever thought about using solid waste pipe for longer runs it's what I've done, and just keep it in the front locker. Looking forward to the next vlog. P and J ❤️
We stayed at seacroft in August and loved it Can i ask what are the options this close to cromer with pool evening entertainment , bar and restaurant wirh well mannered neighbours. I agree a little pricey but in their defence probably warrants it due to location Difficulty booking says it all really
Hi, the location is what does it we think. The pool is closed so you’re not paying for that, the bar is available to the general public so not really a member benefit but it is very nice and we enjoyed our meal there but no entertainment midweek 3rd week in October so you’re not paying for that either. We think the CAMC facilities are average and they charge what they charge because they can. It’s always busy because it’s so close to Cromer. Just a bit over priced we felt. Thanks for watching. Best wishes, Helen & Dave 👍
@HelenandDave yep agree a bit overpriced for out of season . We paid 754 pounds in August for two adults and one child for two weeks and still would not hesitate in going back purely based on being able to walk into cromer instead of driving and paying for expensive car parks everyday. Anyway loving the videos always very informative
Thanks for video, we are motorhomers so always looking for close to towns. We prefer sheringham to Cromer. This site is lacking though ….. No privacy between pitches, no hedging, dated toilets and showers, no nice planting, no fishing lakes to walk around, horrible metal fencing …and that price! Can’t put out a poled enclosure for the dogs or draught skirt, and not adults only, not for us …. Bah humbug!
Completely agree with you. This sites proximity to Cromer is its main benefit we think. The club is a bonus but it's open to the public so not really a member benefit. We love staying on CL's and private sites, we think they are good value in the main and have some great individual personal touches. Thanks for watching. ATB, Helen & Dave
Too expensive for us I’m afraid ! I try not to pay any more than £32 if I can help it. I suppose you save on fuel as you live so close, for us it would be too much. Love the new rugs, we’ve got to look for something too as our carpets are deteriorating we thought it was sand but it’s not ! Another great video x
Hi there Gail, yes our carpets just turned to dust underneath. It was a bit pricey we thought but we wanted to be close to Cromer which is why most people stay there. Thanks for watching. Helen & Dave
Sounds expensive. Id maybe pay close to that at the height of summer for a really good site. Took the kids to a Haven site in October for 5 nights, entertainment included for £75 all in. Must admit pitches were awful 😞
Agreed Alan and we know of people with families that have been in a 6 berth static on a holiday park with pool and entertainment for similar money. However, we think overall it’s still not bad value overall. Thanks for watching. Helen & Dave
Could you explain the C&M C policy that allows you to charge an electric car, fed through your caravan, to an electric vehicle, that is positioned outside the white pegs I.e. within the area that is meant to distance yourself for safety, normally, in any other circumstances. From a safety point of view, it doesn't make any sense, charging in a safety stagnated area of your pitch, with a large electricity consumer as well ? It seems to be frought with fire danger. The other thing is why do C&MH sites think that the data protection act referring to CCTV signage, does not apply to them, with no CCTV warning signs present, warning campers that they are being spied on without warning as was the case on my last visit to a C&MH club site ?
If the site is part of their buiness activities, then ALL CCTV footage comes under the Data Protection Act 2018. No exceptions. This includes signage to state the purpose of recording. Although technically it is Prive Property, members of the public are allowed on the land , whether payment is made or not, and therefor the GDPR applies for any footage recorded.
Hi David & Marie, thanks, I like the idea of a little interior design change but it will only happen if Helen thinks it's a good idea too lol. Take care, Helen & Dave
You are paying for the added on site services, cafe/bar/restaurant (pool though not open) that C&MC site extremely rarely provide at all other than odd one or two plus paying more again having a serviced pitch so it is higher though for late October that is enough. I wouldn’t pay it for nearly November 😉
We think the same, not many club sites got a bar restaurant with music and a short walk from lovely Cromer and of course they charge what they do because it gets booked up (supply & demand). Thanks for watching. ATB, Helen & Dave
Hello. It's where it is and sea view so probably would pay. Ive just booked lady margarets at chirk for £31 per night in January and Somerset end June £32.30 per night. Doing prices at this yrs price. Hope you had great time. Xxx
Hi Alison & Keith, we think that's definitely the case. They charge that much because they can! Looks like you've found some bargains there though. It was a nice little break, we love Cromer. Thanks for watching. Helen & Dave
Hello Dave and Helen, this looks a really nice campsite very spacious. Ideal that you can walk into Cromer and walk to the beach. It does seem a little bit expensive. However it is fully serviced. But each to their own. We stayed on a fully serviced campsite just outside York £43 a night and it was an independent site and adult only. Great video x Julie and Tony x
Hi Julie & Tony, it’s a popular site, the advantage is definitely its proximity to Cromer and the clubhouse. It could do with an upgraded facilities block but otherwise not bad just slightly overpriced we thought. Hope you’re both well. Cheers, Helen & Dave 👍
Pitch fee too much a night for us we tend to use CL’s 90% of the time. And here in Northern Ireland the term hoking is usually used for digging up something
Hi Mark, thanks for sharing this. I find Helen, just like her mother speaks a language all of her own. I’m sure she makes up words! 😂😂 We tend to stay more on private sites and CL’s too. Thanks for watching. Helen & Dave 👍
Hi there Ray, thanks for watching, well although you could hardly see it, the sea was out of the front window and we had this romantic notion of sitting there with the lights off watching the ships. Didn’t happen, we were both asleep snoring by 8:30pm 😂👍
@@HelenandDave yep twigged that later in video 😉 site nice price too steep for me 😔 look forward to future videos. will watch a few next week at ferry meadows , nice film making and photography 👍
£48.50 in my opinion is to expensive. Next time your in Cromer turn left out of sea croft travel 0.75 miles on your right is Wood Hill caravan park. No club house. But sea view fully serviced excellent facilities very friendly staff. Have a look what they charge a night make you own mind up. My money is going to wood Hill Park. Thanks for sharing 👍
You’re in the majority here Paul, we know Wiodhill Park but haven’t stayed there (Yet). Truth is there are plenty of other parks in this area but this is the closest to Cromer which is why it always seems so busy. We thought it too pricey as well. Thanks for watching, always appreciated. Best wishes, Helen & Dave 👍
That sites ok, Woodhill but they let Travellers on it, I was there this year m, not good having to watch your belongings and wondering what’s going to be missing when you come back to your van, or if the van will still be there.
£48.50 for October is Very expensive, however you have chosen a serviced pitch which you will obviously pay a premium for, plus you will be paying for the additional facilities.
Hi Carrie, yes we could have got a cheaper standard pitch but we still thought it was a little OTT. That said, this site is always busy, so that tells you something. Thanks for watching and best wishes, Helen & Dave
@@HelenandDave Yeah, if silly people pay the prices, they will carry on charging them. I tend to go for either CL's or private sites that are well within a reasonable budget. We have stayed at FlamingoLand a couple of times, and with the entrance fees taken into account, it was good value for money and easy to access all the facilities. Bar, fish and chips and swimming pool on site and plenty of eateries during the day for burgers/Hot dogs, etc. in the theme park. CAMC are becoming the club for the elite caravanner/motorhomer clientelle I fear. The average family are being priced out. IMHO
@@BusyElf We think in general the club sites don’t always represent good value for money but that doesn’t mean the people that stay there are Silly! Prices across the clubs network vary widely just as they do across hotel chains and holiday parks. The reason that this site is more expensive is all to do with its proximity to nearby Cromer. We still think it’s over priced but just two miles up the coast is another CAMC site that is much cheaper but offers good facilities. We also find the private sites to be generally good value and offer some lovely individual benefits. Thanks so much for watching. Best wishes, Helen & Dave
Another good video, Thanks you two. The GAMC have lost the plot in my opinion, I will never now use their club sites, I much prefer the CCC who are much less fussy and less costly too. If it wasn't for the CL network I would resign my membeship, althoug I've only four more yeas to do before my 50 - and free lifetime membership 😁
Hi Graham, your opinion echoes many others on here. We can count on one hand the number of club sites we have stayed on this year and we are away most weeks. There’s some fab private sites. We are on one now £30 a night full service and wonderful club shop and more. Thanks for watching. Helen & Dave
Hi Helen, we love Cromer too and we will also probably return, The site is always busy, so they can clearly demand the price. We thought it was a bit expensive though, Thanks for watching, Helen & Dave
A lot of hard work changing soft furnishings just for winter. I'm sure Helen will then be annoyed by the other things that do not match the colour scheme. 😊
Hi Gillian, I think I may have convinced her. It was more of a winter project with a permanent finish and gets us ready for the 2025 touring season. Thanks for watching, Helen & Dave
Absolutely disgraceful price and why we don’t use them anymore . we have just come back from Clippesby Hall . we had a hard standing , fully serviced pitch , super bar and restaurant and it was Halloween so lots for kids . All for £34 night .
Hi Sue & Gaz, we're heading back to Clippesby Hall tomorrow, a good example of why the Seacroft site doesn't really represent good value. Thanks as always, Helen & Dave
Local site to us charges £52 per night (low season) or £62 (high season) at the weekends… then £6 per dog per night. That would mean £74 per night for us, needless to say we have stopped going 😮
Blimey, some of the site fees are getting silly and what does the dog get for £6 a night? We are quite selective with private indie sites, much better value in most but not all cases 😊 Thanks for watching, Helen & Dave 👍
Absolute rip off for that time of year! Camc are generally run down and we have moved to cl’s as better value and generally much nicer. I get families and some couples like the facilities such sites offer but come on how the hell can they justify those prices🥴 keep up the good work D &H 👍👍
Hi Steve, that seems to be the general consensus on this thread. We think it's a bit OTT, there are some CAMC deals but yay have to search for them and as members we think you should be paying a more realistic members pitch fee. Like you we mainly use CL's or private sites these days. Thanks for watching and supporting the channel, always appreciated. Helen & Dave
Sounds a lot for a CAMC site. We paid less than that per night on a gorgeous site in Devon in August for an enormous pitch with our own private bathroom on our pitch.
Hi Michelle, we’re on the same page as you. Private sites seem to offer so much more and are generally much better value for money. Thanks for watching, Helen & Dave 👍
They really do. This one in Devon charges per night for electric but we only paid £2.20 for the whole 6 nights we were there, and £6.50 in October when it was cold so we used more electric, but the pitch was cheaper then too. And the private bathroom is amazing.
That’s very true Greg, we actually priced a room at The Red Lion (pub) in Cromer and they wanted £200 a night 😲. I’m working on Helen for a little refit. Thanks for watching, Helen & Dave
We love Norfolk, but I find that pricey off putting, therefore would not consider that site. We were in Norfolk this year and stayed at Poppy land, it was beautiful ❤️
Hi Linda, thanks for watching and also sharing your own experiences. We also really like Poppyland and the owners, Pam & Billy are lovely. Best wishes, Helen & Dave 👍
Hi Dave and Helen crazy price that's the reason we don't belong to the camc i remember when caravaning used to be a cheap and we only stick to private sites
Hi Martyn, there is certainly a trend in terms of opinion on pitch fees. We have noticed quite a difference since we started Caravanning 8 years ago and like you we do tend to steer towards private sites. Thanks for sharing your views. Best wishes, Helen & Dave
Hi Robert, thanks for watching. Although the swimming pool was closed this is still a very popular site hence the hefty pitch fee (they can get it!) We think it was a bit steep but we like the convenience with its location to Cromer. Thanks again, Helen & Dave
Like everyone else has/is saying £48-50 is far too much, I don’t blame them for charging that, I blame people that join the club then pay the site fee, last year with CC club after 12years just not worth the fee, (My opinion) see they do what I call pictures on a plate that doesn’t nourish anyone except for their bank account.
Hi Rob, we're beginning to think the same, we have stayed on a handful of CAMC & CCC sites this year and considering we are away most weeks it really is starting to feel like we do not need to be members. That said, we will just have to wait and see. We think they are becoming too expensive. Cheers, Helen & Dave
@@HelenandDaveHi private sites seem to be more of a asset when you stay anywhere as they need the business to be full, by keeping there prices at a reasonable rate the site will always be full, but having said that the reason the Seacroft site is, could be that the site is well situated for Cromer, how do you feel on that comment, the grass is not a good site as they always seem to say Keep off the grass 🤷♂️ why not put the armour under it, was it more for an awning Dave/Helen, an not forgetting your furry friend being extra, anyway you two enjoy thank you.
@ the price did include awning and there is no charge for dogs. Yes grass could be utilised as you have mentioned but of course that would require investment which then eats into their profits!!! Thanks again Rob 👍
Think it’s a bit too much albeit facilities provided but still got to consider the time of year, so wouldn’t pay that. Having been looking at UA-cam and watching some touring abroad (granted it’s Motorhomers) it seems costs on the continent are significantly cheaper, even free, with electric provided at some places. Proper campsites (to suit caravans) also cheaper so if you feel up for it seems a tour around Europe may be more suitable for those who’d like to do that. Savings on sites could pay for channel crossing by the looks of it…..??
Hi Dino, think you're right there. Not sure clubs are representing good value anymore we don't get a return on our membership fees and tend to stay on more private sites. Thanks for watching. Helen & Dave
Been a club member for over 35 years & think the club has lost it's way especially on it's pricing on club site's & there caravan insurance. Not Been on a club site for over two years now I prefer private run site's & CLs which a better value.
Morning Ian, agreed! we no longer buy any insurance services from them as we can get a better deal ourselves and have only used a few sites in the last year. Most people seem to stay members to use the CL network. There are some great private sites out there. Thanks for watching and commenting. Helen & Dave
We paid just over £40 a night at Old Oaks Glastonbury October 20th 2024 for 6 nights, ( no clubhouse, but the facilities and pitches are excellent, massive hardstanding pitch with patio and firepit and grass area), Then we went to Parker's Farm In Devon for 8 Nights from the 26th October 2024 and that was £26 a night (has bar & restaurant) both sites were for 2 adults and 2 dogs with electric, we loved both sites, and no yearly membership. We would not use the clubhouse unless dogs are allowed. So I think that is rather expensive for me. We are members of the C&C Club this year but next year i will not bother, as finding these club sites much more expensive than independents.
Thanks for sharing this, very interesting read and we also find the private sites have so much to offer in terms of facilities and value. Best wishes, Helen & Dave 👍
We thought it was too expensive Justin, great location but just like most other CAMC sites. The club is a bonus but it's not a benefit for members as it's open to the general public. Thanks for watching. ATB, Helen & Dave
I love you 2 and your videos, I'm caravan mad, but it's just too expensive😂. By the time I pay storage ,buy the caravan paid for the insurance paid for the petrolI .stayed in a silver caravan at hopton holiday park for £88 4 nights. Hope caravan ingstops being so greedy for you
Hi Leigh, thank you for your lovely comment. There’s no doubting it’s certainly got more expensive and when you compare it to your 3 nights at Hopton it’s hard to justify. However, it does still represent good value and offers a lot of freedom, when you get fed up with the view you can move on and find another. Our first caravan was a cheap one, we wanted to be sure it was for us. You can pick up some good deals on 2nd hand vans at the moment (the market is flooded) you can also get all of the other stuff you need cheap on eBay but often you get lots of stuff included in a used van. Storage is a necessary evil if you do not have room on your drive and the petrol costs shouldn’t be too much more when towing a caravan. Never say never Leigh but we’re delighted you watch our channel, thank you!! ☺️ Take care, Helen & Dave
We went to eye Kettleby site last week £37 a night and a to notch site as well with everything you needed But Cromer at that price is a definite no. CMC has lost its way. And don’t eve bother trying to get into York rowntree pk its well over £50 a night 🙁😮
Hi Paul, yeah, we're finding the private sites are offering much better value, we enjoyed EKL's earlier this year, well kept site. Thanks for watching and sharing your views. ATB, Helen & Dave
I'm going to sound like a proper tight old git. HOWMUCH? When I was a lad camping and caravanning was a reasonably economic way to get out and about. I'm sure you could get a hotel for less and not have to crap in a bucket to carry it away yourself. Unless they are just trying to keep the peasants out and cater just for the wealthy. I must thank you for reminding me why I left that organisation, I was considering re-joining. Not now. There is a simple business method that too many don't follow anymore, "cut your profit margin and it increases your turnover resulting in a better income".
Hi Trevor, we thought it was a bit steep too lol. The site gets very busy and occupancy is normally high here so we think it's a case of they charge it and they get it, because of its location and the on site amenities. Too high though is what we think. Thanks for watching. Helen & Dave
We have never seen the attraction of large sites with views of rows of caravans. The attraction of a club bar has never appealed as we’d sooner visit a local pub with atmosphere. We prefer CLs with all the pitch facilities you have paid £48 for, only a handful of vans either side and uninterrupted views from the front; excellent (if smaller ) toilet and shower facilities ; all the grey and black waste facilities; bins & recycling your expect. If we have paid more than £35 (with dog & awning) we feel it’s a bit pricey . You’ve made us reconsider CAMC membership next year as we don’t see any value
Hi Paul, completely get where you’re coming from but It’s good to have a choice because we’re all different but we think these prices are over the top too. We also like the CL’s and smaller sites sometimes but plenty of others like this sort of site too. The site itself we feel is nothing special but it’s the location that’s the appeal and the place is almost always full. We keep wondering if we will renew our membership but always end up renewing it. Thanks for watching. ATB, Helen & Dave
Yes a bit pricey but compared to bandb prices that are extortionate CAMC seems reasonable. We’ve stayed at Seacroft four or five times and love it’s proximity to Cromer. Great video we love you both, take care.
Thanks so much Ben, we actually priced a room with a Seaview at The Red Lion while we were in Cromer and they wanted £200 a night!! so that puts it into perspective and we never lose sight of that. They certainly make the most of the location and the site is almost always full. Thanks for watching and the lovely feedback. Best wishes, Helen & Dave
Thank You Rosie, so glad it's not just me lol. We thought it was OTT despite the fact there is a nice club house but that is open to anyone who want to use it so it's not a member benefit. Take care and stay tuned! Helen & Dave
Hi Janice, yes, that would be a much fairer price to pay but if you have a family with kids off school, I would say, shop around as the fees are higher and paying for extra persons. We love Cromer though. Thanks as always. Helen & Dave
Thanks for sharing your views William, we didn't mind paying it but compared with other sites in the area we thought it was a bit pricey. That said, the site is always busy so plenty of other people agree with you. Take care, Helen & Dave
Cheers for watching Barry, appreciate your thoughts on this one. Location has a lot to do with it I suppose and the fact that they get busy so it's the old supply & demand equation. Take care, Helen & Dave
Hi Helen and Dave, we use the CMC site's alot around the Cotswold area, which is quite local to us . We are away for 5 nights at Xmas and paying around £245 for a full service pitch. The prices certainly seem to keep going up ,but with the cost of employing people rising, i can only see prices going up more. Having said that ,we have been on a few very good CLs and affiliated sites, that are a lot cheaper .
Hi Call, yes everything is going up, including the membership fees too but you can certainly find some great deals on some of the private sites. We hope you enjoy your time away at Christmas and thanks so much for watching. Best wishes, Helen & Dave
Been member of CMC for several years and prices are getting ott. Wouldnt go to that site anyway, not everyone uses a bar and swimming pool so no point paying these prices.
Hi Graham, thanks for watching and sharing your views, appreciated. We didn't really go for the bar or pool either, I think most people go here purely because of its proximity to Cromer. We agree with you though in that prices in general are certainly going up and in many cases just OTT. Thanks again, Helen & Dave
@@HelenandDave to say you are providing your own bed, roof and breakfast. Fantastic video as always - hoping to get away next weekend if the weather is ok 👍
Stayed at Seacroft 26th Sept to 30th Sept 4 nights including weekend was £166 (41.50) I would check in case of technical error. As next year is £40.30 in October goes up to £46.30 half term week.
Thanks for watching Graham, no the price is correct for a full service pitch at the time we were there. Strange the price is less next summer unless you’re looking at a standard pitch (zi haven’t checked). Thanks again for watching. Best wishes, Helen & Dave 👍
Hi Karl, yeah that would be more like it. Always busy and that’s why they demand the pitch fees, not sure but one of our subscribers with a family of 3 said the were quoted over £80 a night! Bonkers! Hope you’re well, cheers, Helen & Dave 👍
No way would I pay that price. I think the site is taking advantage of post covid demand and proximity to Cromer. There are much better sites which are more private, dog friendly, more private between pitches and cheaper! My sister, brother in law and I are taking our caravans to Northumberland on Christmas day and having a week there. Don't be a wimp with the weather! 😂 As Billy connolly said, there is no such thing as bad weather, just the wrong clothes lol! 😂 (btw fully serviced pitch is £35!)
Hi Roz, we thought it was a bit too much. The site itself is pretty average but's the location that allows them to charge a premium price. It's always busy there though. Billy Connolly used to say a lot of things. many of which cannot be repeated on here lol. We would like to go away Christmas & New Year but it would need to be quite close to home for us because we are always so busy at that time of year (DJ Dave). Hope you have a great time, great price! Take care, Helen & Dave
Can’t believe the cost of the pitch 😕 sadly our life style of campaigning caravanning has been over ran by the wealthy people who stopped going abroad after Covid 😢
Certainly OTT we thought Christopher. Prices have gone up that's for sure but compared with a lot of other stay away options we think in the main it's still pretty good (but not what it was). Thanks for watching and stay safe, Helen & Dave
Plenty of people tend to agree with you Peter. We also think it was a bit OTT but this site is always busy! Thanks for watching. Best wishes, Helen & Dave
Hi Clive, yeah the club prices seem to be overcooked a bit these days! We mainly stay on private or CL sites. Thanks for watching. ATB, Helen & Dave
As for price, quick search, 3 nights, mid week at a travellodge in that general area £31.99 per night. So a bit of gravel, electricity and water only, costs you 1 1/2 times more. Great value and you save on caravan towing petrol as well.
Puts it into perspective but we also enquired for a room at Tbe Red Lion pub in Cromer while we were there and it was £200 a night. Supply & Demand 👍
We have been there once, trying to get a re mortgage to visit it again.😂
You are both the same as us, love Norfolk and Suffolk. Great to revisiting nice sites. We love Yorkshire as well.
We prefer Sheringham seems to be a nicer atmosphere there. Also home to the poppy line.
Said it before but love your animation with the little car and caravan.
Look after yourselves guys.
Thumbs up thumped 👍
....Pete and Su....
Hi Pete & Su, always good to hear back from you both. Must say, Sheringham does have a special charm all of its own and the poppy line just gives it the edge for us too. Thanks as always and our best wishes to you. Helen & Dave
We watch your videos all the time and love them, and you two of course!
Take care
Ian
Cheers Ian, yes a little bit of Halloween fun at the end lol. We thought it was a little over the top on price but the place is always busy, we think the location and club/restaurant are the big factors there. Thanks for watching, Helen & Dave
Hi Dave and Helen, It's great to see you enjoying yet another autumn stay. Definitely go for the refashion, I did it in the old van when we bought it, in the way of painting right the way through, and about a year before we changed van's, we got new curtains made from scratch, and just brought them into the new van's lounge area, we only need the tiebacks making now, might even get the bedroom area some new curtains made this winter, oh you scared me again with the picture of Helen at the end, all the best, and safe travels, Neil
PS if I remember when I get home from winter pack up trip to the van, I'll email you pictures of the lounge curtains
Great video once again, really enjoyed. Thanks Dave and Helen.
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks so much for the lovely feedback, we appreciate it! Take care, Helen & Dave
Hello Helen and Dave a beautiful place to stay . I think £48.50 p expensive for a night thank you for video takecare
Hi Helen, we are on the same page as you, a bit pricey! Actually most people seem to be of the same opinion.
That’s exactly what I thought Rustynailer! I was shocked at that price especially in October 😱
@ yeah that’s a really good observation 👍
I hope the caravan & motorhome club shuts down there stupid prices but people keep paying so they will charge it
We drive past it to go to Incleboro 5 mins round the corner at 2/3 cost.
Good video
Yes too expensive, but it's like M&S dependable, however, predictable club sites can be boring especially for families, and it's that younger generation, that are not willing to pay these prices, and who can blame them.
Guess the status of the present finances in this country, no longer allow budgets, either large or small, to be asked to stretch out that much at this time of year!
Whatever we think, we cant get back to pre brexit, but we are certainly paying for it now.
Yes I agree for October it is a bit pricey. We used to use rubber mats but they do move. Better than normal carpets though.
Hi David & Lindsay, yeah a bit steep we thought but this site is always pretty busy! We'll see how we get on with the mats. Thanks for watching, Helen & Dave
You started some thing now Dave ghost ship 👍 lovely pint. At ferry meadows site just pitch cuckoo pub up road 😊
Ha Ha, go on Ray, you know you want one, get yourself down the Cuckoo for a swift one! Safe travels. Best wishes, Helen & Dave
Expensive compared to most fully serviced pitches in Australia. Equivalent to A$96.00. The most we have paid is A$70.00 in a very busy tourist town.
Yeah, it’s a bit OTT we think Dot. Something will give eventually. Hope you’re well. Helen & Dave
Sites are too expensive now,
I stayed in a Travel lodge in Boston last weekend
Three Nights £128
Which included all the bedding, own on suite bathroom ,
And tea making facility and parking.
Hi Dave and Helen, we love your channel ♥️
Regarding the site tariff, absolutely rip off and worryingly, it seems to be going this direction in other sites too.
Hi Sandra, hope you’re well. Yep, but pricey, we thought but it’s always popular here so would explain why the fees are high. Take care, Helen & Dave
We agree with you. We did enjoy our stay though and thanks as always to you both!
My view on the price would be that I would be happy to pay it for full serviced especially given the fact not knowing Cromer and whilst there would see other options for future visits
The location near the town and facilities are an attraction especially with a family and i guess the overheads and operation costs are some of the fees being higher - out of season would be a nice place to be based on a full serviced pitch for a short break away
If I knew what I was doing in Cromer I would be happy to look at other sites - I guess the club ones have consistent standards?
Go for the winter refit keep the van looking fresh and great! We used to do that with my parents statics!
All the best to you both and Bella Daniel
Hi Daniel, thanks as always, we love Cromer and it's convenient for visiting other lovely places in Norfolk too. This site is very convenient for getting in to Cromer too which is why it's always busy and hence the price so you would need to book up. That said, there are plenty of other places to stay very close by so you would have no probs finding a site. Yes, we may look at the winter refit idea. Watch this space! Cheers, Helen & Dave
Look forward to seeing the new look. Happy travels 😊
I think I’ve convinced Helen it would be a good idea. Thanks again for watching Gillian 👍
Love your videos when your out and about giving commentaries about different places ❤
Glad you like them Cameron and we appreciate you watching and thanks for the lovely feedback. ATB, Helen & Dave
If you ever come to scotland theres sites i can highly recommend is and some i dont lol
Ah yes, there’s some like that in Norfolk too. Helen wants a trip back to Scotland next year so watch this space 👍
Hi Dave & Helen
The re-fit would be fun to do, you could go for a new style each season if you made them removable 😊 The cost for the pitch is a bit expensive.
Scary prices for a scary weekend 😂 Nice cheap mats though Dave, well done 👍🏻 💙 Trev
Thanks for sharing and enjoy your time ;))
Cheers Stew, yes it’s the location that’s the real appeal here but still over priced we think. Cheers, Helen & Dave
Hi Alan, agreed, just like hotel chains & holiday parks, location, location, location. Thanks for watching, Helen & Dave
Hi there Nick, disappointed to hear that. Not sure we will be rushing back. Thanks for watching. Helen & Dave
Hi Helen and Dave,
Have always thought Seacroft is overpriced, yes you do get a pool and the clubhouse if thats your thing.
@HelenandDave
Hi, yes, we did notice thanks, glad you're still enjoying them.
Have you ever thought about using solid waste pipe for longer runs it's what I've done, and just keep it in the front locker.
Looking forward to the next vlog.
P and J ❤️
@ yeah might have to take a leaf out of Robs wise ways book. He’s got it sussed 👍 @robswiseways5697
Hi great vid as usual gives insight to good or bad or expensive sites for us to much but milk first lol
@ Thanks Roy, we thought it to be a little over priced but enjoyed our stay. Thanks for watching, Helen & Dave 👍
We stayed at seacroft in August and loved it
Can i ask what are the options this close to cromer with pool evening entertainment , bar and restaurant wirh well mannered neighbours.
I agree a little pricey but in their defence probably warrants it due to location
Difficulty booking says it all really
@ thank you 👍😊
Thanks for video, we are motorhomers so always looking for close to towns.
Haven't used a club site for years my budget won't stretch to those prices only a member for the cl,s nice to have a look though thankyou.
Hi Greg, we feel that are getting a bit OTT now too and we stay mainly on private sites these days. Thanks for watching, ATB, Helen & Dave
Interesting point Fred. As a non EV owner it's not a policy I am familiar with but it seems odd to me.
Great idea and a saving to, go for it 😊 ,as long as it fit's in with the other decor ,and the boss agrees 😂😂,
Hi David & Marie, thanks, I like the idea of a little interior design change but it will only happen if Helen thinks it's a good idea too lol.
Out of season not a chance in hell would I pay that in high season and that’s. With your discount how much without 🤔😡
Exactly Billy. We thought it was overpriced too. Thanks for watching. Helen & Dave 👍
@@HelenandDave .i went on caravan club offers and clicked on pay same as this yr. Xx
@ nice one 👍
Don't forget France Dave 🇨🇵😉
Hi Gaetan, thanks for the reminder, how could I forget you???? Thanks so much for watching, Hope you're well. Helen & Dave
😮The flooring is Karndean. We think that for the time of year, it is expensive. If it were the summer, we could understand it.
That's the one Claire, thank you! Yeah a bit pricey we thought so too. Thanks for watching, Helen & Dave
Dave, any more Tartan and you will be singing - "Shang a Lang" (Bay city Rollers)
If Helen doesn't agree to my refit plan Paul I'll be singing "bye bye baby" lol. Thanks for watching, Helen & Dave
@@HelenandDave BABY BYE BYE! I bet you had tartan🤣 around bottom of your jeans?
@ 😂😂
Yes good idea
Thanks Jennifer, just need to convince Helen lol. Take care, Helen & Dave
Why you pitch that way round just curious? Been there a few times with .motorhome
Looks s nice site and location, but out of season ridiculous price,
Hiya Sue, we think the same but suppose they charge it because they can! We thought it was a bit steep though. Thanks as always, Helen & Dave
A bit expensive. However we fell in love with Norfolk and Cromer. We will return
Excessive price 😱 Great informative video as usual. Thank you Dave and Helen 😘
Our pleasure Barbs, hope you're doing well and thank you as always for watching and taking the time to leave a comment. Best wishes, Helen & Dave
@HelenandDave enjoy , they where taking down the Halloween decorations and getting ready for Remembrance Sunday x
Still cheaper than a hotel 🤷🏼♂️ but the sites need to invest in the facilities. I like your idea of a winter refit in the caravan, why not? 👍
That’s very true Greg, we actually priced a room at The Red Lion (pub) in Cromer and they wanted £200 a night 😲. I’m working on Helen for a little refit. Thanks for watching, Helen & Dave
@ great to see you both keeping well. Keep the videos coming… 👍
@ thanks Greg 👍
Not bad if you use all the amenities love this part of norfolk
@@HelenandDaveThey’ve already got the profits £48-50 a night 👀😂🤣😂🤣😂😂🤣🤣xx
@ 👍😂
I think that time of year should be £30 max so that price no wonder the camc is struggling
We went to eye Kettleby site last week £37 a night and a to notch site as well with everything you needed
But Cromer at that price is a definite no.
Honestly it's way to much in my opinion! And I agree with you I can't see any joy caravaning in grey misrable days ,
Thank You Rosie, so glad it's not just me lol. We thought it was OTT despite the fact there is a nice club house but that is open to anyone who want to use it so it's not a member benefit. Take care and stay tuned! Helen & Dave
Loved the ending part of your video, tell Helen love her new hair style it really suits her, take care !!!
@ bless ya Rosie, Helen said thanks very much. A bit of Halloween fun at the end 👻💀🎃
Think £40 is about what we pay
but if you have your heating on all night you will get your moneys worth.
Hi Janice, yes, that would be a much fairer price to pay but if you have a family with kids off school, I would say, shop around as the fees are higher and paying for extra persons. We love Cromer though. Thanks as always. Helen & Dave
I think Helen should be seen and not heard, no more Ice in her drinks and if I want the hedgehogs on the inside then I will 😂
Go away Dunder heed!
Bit expensive for me 😂
Agreed Steve! a bit to pricey we thought but still very much enjoyed our stay there. All the best, Helen & Dave
Seems ok to me I’d pay that for that site 👍
Thanks for sharing your views William, we didn't mind paying it but compared with other sites in the area we thought it was a bit pricey. That said, the site is always busy so plenty of other people agree with you. Take care, Helen & Dave
Hi Helen /dave it’s all about location what the site offers for us so we would go no probs
@@WilliamStacey-r6i agreed we've paid a lot more on other sites because we liked the sites and where they are. Thanks again, Helen & Dave 👍
Bit steep but was sort of what you expect to pay even in the dark depths of october. be safe and crack on
Cheers for watching Barry, appreciate your thoughts on this one.
Jeez how much 😂
Exactly! We thought that was a bit OTT. 👍
@@HelenandDave to say you are providing your own bed, roof and breakfast. Fantastic video as always - hoping to get away next weekend if the weather is ok 👍
@@Bessie66 fingers crossed, get out & about if you can 👍
Stayed at Seacroft 26th Sept to 30th Sept 4 nights including weekend was £166 (41.50) I would check in case of technical error.
Agree with previous comment. Would not stay here at that price I'm afraid :-( Far too expensive for what it is.
A lot of others seem to agree with you too. We thought it was a little OTT! Thanks for watching. Helen & Dave 👍
To expensive for the time of year £35 a night more realistic at that time of year how much in summer to stay there
I wonder
That’s just to expensive for that time of year
We agree with you. A bit OTT. Thanks for watching. Helen & Dave
Wouldn’t entertain those prices unfortunately. Happy camping though 😁
Thanks for watching Keith, we think it’s a case of location, location, location because it’s just like any other club site tbh. Thanks, Helen & Dave
Its a rip off, I can get a fully serviced pitch for £25 a night all year round, thats why I left the club.
Plenty of people tend to agree with you Peter. We also think it was a bit OTT but this site is always busy! Thanks for watching. Best wishes, Helen & Dave
