- This is without question one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. In fact, the song stayed with me so much that, after watching this, I researched who had written and composed the song, only to find out our very own Jungkook had co-written and composed it and that it's the song for a Japanese movie with the same name (きみの瞳が問いかけている). Thank you for this moving song, the melody is forever stuck in my head.

Do you guys know that coincidentally this movie(the Korean version of original movie) was one of Jimin’s favorite movies & during Jimin’s early Vlive (Vlog) with JK, he talked about this movie & invited JK to see this movie again with him. Jimin even wrote in his yearly profile that this movie is his favorite movie.
And few years later, JK has composed this beautiful nostalgic song as the OST of the remake movie of Japanese version & all BTS members sang together & make this wonderful harmonies.
BTS vocal line Jin, Jimin, V and Jungkook are 4 of the most phenomenal vocals in the world whike BTS rap line are 3 of the most amazing lyricists and rappers in the world! BTS is the best! there's nothing like BTS!

People usually sleep on Jin’s vocal and are surprised when he can hit the crazy high notes perfectly! Jin has always been good and he is just not given enough chances to shine in most of their songs. Jimin said it himself that Jin actually has the highest range in the group! 💜

as someone who hasnt listened to a lot of kpop or girl/boybands in general but who has become a fan of bts during the past months, I've come to the realisation that one of the reasons i like their songs so much is because they all have such distinct voices. Differents voice colours and textures, singing styles, rapping styles, (dancing as well of course). They all bring so much of their own personality to their songs, performances and discography. It is just a lot of fun to listen to imo and nice to see how they all have their own role and place in the group for a reason!
they also talk a lot of japanese during concerts in japan and in japanese interviews and tv/variety shows. I can not make a claim about how good they are cause i speak no japanese whatsoever, but some of them do sound more fluent in japanese then in english

it's like they all have a very distinct musical style to them but then they come together to make something special rather than a lot of groups where the members are trained around the concept of the group itself and therefore didn't develop their own color that well.

Love how jungkook wrote and composed this song for the movie about a blind girl falling in love with an ex con so he wrote the lyrics after he watched the movie. His line distribution was everything... they really killed this and I cried the first time lol

Jimin and Jin were incredible in this but Taehyung and Jungkook took my breathe away. Especially considering the fact that Tae has said that the higher songs are difficult for himself and Jungkook so major props to them for reaching those high notes

These albums include Japanese versions of almost all of their hits, and they include original Japanese songs like Your Eyes Tell, Stay Gold, Don’t Leave Me, Let Go, and Crystal Snow.
I think RM is the only one that's actually been called fluent in Japanese. This song was written as an OST for a Japanese movie coming out about a down and out boxer meeting and falling in love with a blind girl and their story. It wasn't supposed to be part of the movie originally but the director heard it and loved it, so JK rewrote the lyrics a bit to better match the plot of the movie. They have whole Japanese albums that they've released.

BTS have a entire discography in Japanese. Their Japanese album Map of the Soul Journey is Billboard chart topper. If you would like to check out their Japanese songs, please check out Let Go, Airplane Pt.2, Stay Gold, Lights and Crystal Snow. All are masterpieces. Jin especially shines in their Japanese songs. The man is insane.
They have entire albums in Japanese. This was written by Jungkook. It was supposed to be for his mixtape, but Japan remade a Korean movie and wanted an OST for it and they chose this song. So JK reworked it if Japanese and for all seven of them. :)

JK made this song- produce it and wrote it! This song came out in Summer 2019. Check out their other Japanese songs. BTS is fluent in Japanese! Yes, they have a big fanbase in Japan and China- of course- Korea. All of ASIA! They can speak a little Chinese as well.

I came across this by chance when YT recommended it, but I kept watching. You're so expressive, and I loved your reaction - it was just like mine the first time I heard that performance. My Japanese is very basic so I can't understand enough fast enough to get the full meaning without the translation but I saw you feeling what I was feeling, especially your reaction to Jimin's vocal tone. This performance has a lower production value than many of their recent ones, but it feels so raw emotionally and has become my absolute favourite.

Barely anyone commented on the amazing fact that you yourself know Japanese! Whaat? I'm impressed and also touched somehow - when I was growing up (as a Southeast Asian in Europe and North America), Asia was uncool and America ruled pop culture and the world. But in the past almost two decades, first Japanese anime/manga/video games/J-pop and now the Korean wave have swept so many around the world under their spell (and inspiring people to learn Korean and Japanese - not easy languages by any means)... it makes me happy (especially in contrast to the 'Stop Asian hate' now in the news).
Anyway, in this video, they all have such a mellow and melancholy air about them and the lighting is all glowy and soft... I'm especially mesmerized by V, Jimin and Jin here. I saw a comment somewhere that V was in pain during this taping, and we can see him clutch at his tummy at one point. :( Never would have known otherwise. Such a pro. And it's amazing how none of them were trained singers before joining BTS and yet they all ended up having such a high vocal range - all four vocalists can hit those high notes! And all with their own unique timbre and style.

Actually their vocals are all so unique and hv their own charms. Like Jimin has such sharpness in his voice tht when he sings high it just hits hard and deep. And Jin, such a mellow and honey voice and he can actually did triple high notes its beautiful.
Jungkook is very versatile tht he can go every lengths with his voice, amazingly and beautifully too. All of them hv high ranges.
And V actually is my favourite vocal since his is very rare. Its deep, heavy but soft, even when he hits high notes in this song. I wld really like to see him develop more if he got trained more better for his vocal control. He actually can evem sing opera and has such a strong voice but he had to struggle to sing most of bts songs for he has lower register but he nailed it perfectly.
But in this song really Jimin and Jin hits hard. And u r right, the quality of thier voices. They are so clear, and pierces and sing with emotions. The most important thing is we feel everything they sing w/o having to understand it.

This is on the soundtrack for the Japanese movie by the same name. It is a remake of the Korean movie Always. Get a couple boxes of tissues and watch Always, I'm not sure if Your Eyes Tell is available anywhere to watch yet

This song was for the movie your eyes tell a Japanese movie that came out in October. They also did the soundtrack for a TV show that was a remake of the Korean TV show signal which was kind of based on the American movie frequency. They became friends with the lead actor in the series who found their song so inspiring that he used it to get into character.
That Japanese tV show based on the TV show signal from Korea is now coming out as a movie and they're doing the soundtrack for that one too Don't know when that's coming out though
