Regine has tons of powerful performances pre-internet and UA-cam that were not recorded or saved. It's unfortunate that they have not all been captured and preserved. Even her very first live tv performances on a national singing contest in the mid 80's where she was undefeated for 8 consecutive weeks and won the grand finals is nowhere to be found. Regine did have opportunities to be successful and known globally, but her homesickness is too much, and she did not appreciate it when they tried to dictate what she should be doing and what songs to sing. She decided to just stay in the Philippines. Glad she did 😊
During her prime, the F5s for me are the sweetest. The tonal quality does not thin out up to those notes when she chose to. At times, she could bring the power to G5, but more often, she goes more nasal at that note (which is still firm and laser focused). Most powerful and highest note she did is probably B5 in Reasons. No singer can probably top the chest power of that note.
