Podcast is Called : ASN Humans Are Space Orcs , HFY and other stories
--------------
This Story is Classified as HFY or Humanity Feck, Yea , but what does the Mean?
-------------
HFY is a story/series that takes a “human element” in either humanity or an “other” (race/species or object) that exists in a “setting” (future or other world/universe) with varying levels of culture, technology, society and history that help show in some shape or form the potential good or bad for humanity’s race/culture. In These stories Humans are often referred to as Human, Humanity, Deathworlder, Hellwolder in reference to the human planet of origin , Earth. This planet is seen by most of the universe as a place where only death and chaos can survive.
-------------
Taken from the FAQ of the r/HFY subreddit.
Humans Are Space Orcs (HASO) or Humans Are (Fantasy Race) Are used as a guide when writing.
In these Stories we normally View humans like the other races view orcs in a Fantasy Novel. We (Humans) share the same characteristics and personalities as orcs. Humans are normally treated as the outsiders and barbarians. Humans tend to be underestimated as well in these stories. Unlike Humanity Feck Yea , these don't always put a positive spin on humans\humanity sometimes looking at the darker side of human and humanity from the perspective of aliens.

That first story brought a tear from this old man's eye. Thank you my friend.
Same here.
Same ❤
Yup AGREED MY FRIEND
You're most welcome
Roger that. I'm older than my wife and I know I'll be waiting a long time for her to join me.
OMG! Story #1 made me cry! So sweet and romantic.
I can't even blame the onion ninjas!
Dammit! There is no emoji for happy tears!
First story made me cry. I can't wait for the day my beloved comes for me. I miss him so much.
Second story. Humans (usually) learn leaving your enemy broken and bleeding only keeps them as enemies and fuels justification for retribution. It is not in human nature to accept slavery except as a necessary burden. In the case of this story, to learn, to strengthen, to prepare.
I’ve been with my bride for 55 years now. It is always amazing to me that she thinks I good enough to stay with. Thank you for your reading of this story.
🤓
The first was lovely. The second, I'll have to think about. Many thanks!
Great stories; Excellent narration! Now I have to go find out how the Onion Ninjas make it past the shields...again!!!
Persistant buggers, aren't they?
Hey algorithm! This is a cool channel with the best narrator on the Interwebs who narrates the best stories. Suggest this channel to more people to steer him more traffic. Everyone will benefit.
Those left behind, decades slowly turn as the darkness within the blitz sorrow pains forever waiting for the moment
WHEN my wife's mother died, her grandson, wife's nephew, was at her side. A couple months later he asked his dad rather concerned, "Dad, who's George?" His dad explained that his grandfather's name was actually George, but he had always gone by G.B. Then asked "Why?" The grandson said, "Because the last word she said was "George?" -- True story.
Second one is when you understand the humans are both sides.
Greetings, Mentlgent!
For the Rhyhtm that is Algo
Story 1: AWWWWWWW
Story 2: Surrender? No, infiltration! Clever. And I'm familiar with the parable.
Thank you for the reading
Good stories, GREAT NARRATION 👍
Here is a like and comment for the stories, for entertaining me, to help your channel grow, to appease the great and powerful UA-cam algorithm demons, and get you the recognition you deserve.
For the Skald and his family
Thank you for the video.
So glad to have the 🐿️ back 💯
I thought for sure the first story would plot twist into some kind of psychic predator tricking victims into it's dimensional stomach.
Damn ninja cutting onions 😢
1st story: I do believe our loved ones wait for us. Before my mother passed (she had been in ill health for a long time) she had told my wife and I she sometimes heard my father calling for her in her dreams. He had passed several years before. They are now together.
Yes, we are damned good at war. We also know how to run resistance/sleeper cells with great effect. But we also understand an enemy can become a friend if given a helping hand. All you have to do is to look at Germany, Italy and Japan after WWII.
Beautiful
For the algorithm 👽👾🤖🌌🛰🚀🛸🌠
First one has me searching for the onion cutting ninjas again. Only had just over 20 years total as just friends, BF/GF and engaged couple and just short of 15.5 as husband and wife. She'll have been gone 11 years come October and if the doctors are right the reunion isn't far off.
Story 1: What's so silly about a mechanic asking that? I saw plenty of mechanics and other jobs on the front lines, just not as frequently as us infantry.
Coyote has been on a writing streak. Makes me feel a little disappointed in the gap in my own short story posting.
Write at your own pace and in your own time and your own work will be better than mine.
@@coyotehavoc5118 Hey, are you the one that wrote the stories with the bar in the Midwest that aliens keep getting lost at? Every one of those always has at least one character say "Happens all the time". Anyway, if you're that person, I like those stories, and would appreciate more of them. I know I've seen your name before, just not sure if I'm remembering WHY correctly. Your entry today was quite poignant. Wifey and I are going on 24 years married, but in 2 days it will be 30 years since we started dating.
I want to know just how do you expect me to catch up through your back catalog if you keep releasing NEW stories as often as you do! ;)

We need more comments, come on guys y'all know we can do it.
The nature to rebuild after conquest hasn't always been part of us. It's a lesson learned in blood. There are other examples, but the greatest I can think of is our two world wars. After World War One, the victors demanded reparations of the conquered. This caused the losers of that war incredible hardship on top of having to rebuild their devastated countries. This caused resentment which was a major contributing factor to the start of World War Two.
After World War Two, most of the Allies stuck around to help rebuild as much as they were able in the nations they had just defeated. The USSR on the other hand tried to extract as much value out of the conquered as possible.
Today, Germany and Japan are still major allies to the US. I think Germany was the first country to send tangible military support after 9/11, and Japan basically adopted parts of American culture in ways that are still evident today. The various countries that broke away from the USSR, now Russia, on the other hand are those very regions that the USSR treated poorly after the war. Those formerly conquered countries all seem to be united only in their hatred of Russia.

Yo
Dear cosplayers
Make a deal with the squirrel to pose for thumbnails let's put the kybosh on AI art.
For story number two, remember the Marshall plan after WWII. And look at Germany, now one of America’s greatest European allies. 👍🏽🇺🇸🇩🇪
👾👾👾
If possible, a little more volume would be helpful.
Story one; just another tale of Rule #34. Yay.
Story two; don't start no crap, there won't be no crap.
Isn't the Hindu goddess Kali the goddess of destruction and creation? If I remember correctly.
yes, but most people focus more on the destruction part.
