Omg!! I never leave comments- but I had to let you know the foil worked!! One of contacts inside the camera had corroded a little bit. The tin foil worked!!!! Thank you for making this video! ☺️
You are my hero of the day. Question: the metal piece inside of this camera’s film chamber wont stay put. I think the hole where the tiny screw goes may be stripped. Any ideas what to do? Could i glue it in? Or is that a terrible idea
Do you have any more tips for this issue? These things didn’t work for me but I can hear the camera making noise. The lens cap won’t close and shudder button isn’t working
@@shantysteve thank you for the tip!! I actually have about half the roll left so I don’t think that’s the issue this time but I’ll keep it in mind. I actually played around with the tin foil and that did the trick!
You probably have the foil touching both batteries. The foil is sapposed to touch only one battery separately. So you need 2 foil pads😊. Mine one side is visibly lower, like the spring is just gone? 😢 maybe I can put a piece of heavy gauge wire in low battery side, its like a whole ⅛" or ¼" low
hello! has your shutter ever gotten stuck open? I have changed the batteries and the light for the flash comes on so don't think it's a power thing but the shutter refuses to close :( I wanted to ask if you had any tips? :)
Hi, there is a spring which operates the shutter. The spring is always in tension and over time the spring stretches and can fall off the hooks. I had to shorten my spring to get it working reliability again. There is a thread on photorio on how to fix it along with pics. Hopefully this helps.
so sad I just got one of these off ebay and it doesn't work theres a huge crack in the hand grip im so sad

I think you’re at the end of your roll!! I had the same thing happen and that’s all it was :)

Mine automatically winds forward a frame every time i turn it on with the lens cover. Any ideas?
got like from ebay and it has never worked for me😭
Omg, it came back to life 🥺
Mine will only work if you don't completely close the battery door. Ideas? Pressure doesn't work.
It lives! Thank you for this!
Do you know how to take the battery door on and off?? I'm trying to replace my broken battery door
Same problem here:) to follow
THIS WORKED THANK U
tried both solutions and it’s not turning on 😭
Didn’t work for mine unfortunately. Tried the foil and the batteries got super hot and camera never turned on
