The Animation should have been display the fluid pressure function, for new engineering students it would more useful. isn't it!!

That's true, but I think that's understable enough for being my first video for my VET students. Thanks anyway for your comments.

My rear brakes tend to have different braking power even tho i have replaced all the parts when it comes to drum brakes. Could this part have a some sort of an issue on it's function. I mean it's almost an 30 year old part on my vw anyways

This device should activate both brakes at the same time so this should not be your point of failure but you never know...
have you replaced the rubber hoses? it is REALLY important to CHANGE the RUBBER hoses every couple years.
in my skoda the hoses got broken from the inside and created a sort of one way valve and it kept enough pressure to keep my brakes heating up to sizzling from a 2 km drive...
when removing them i had the brake body in my vice and i had to use a torch to get the rusty hose end off the brake and the rubber was so stuck that the rubber hose exploded from the expanding brake fluid inside.

@@vihreelinja4743 i ended up replacing everything when i overhauled my whole rear axle. Working like a charm at the now . I've had a similar experience with one those hoses exploding when heating it up with torch lol. It just popped and sprayed hot brake fluid everywhere. And one issue that i had was one brake pipe i had made previously, it was slightly flat from the tight radius bend and that would do the same as you described when braking .
