I came across this video after a lengthy chain of websites and videos, starting from a UA-cam video showing a lock from Taylor Lock Co, which had me curious about the company, which led to the company's address on a registry (2034 W Lippincott St), which led me to look at Google Street View, which led to me seeing this burned house, which led to me searching the address for a news release on it, which led to this video. Thanks for uploading! I was wondering what happened. Though I am curious; I noticed that the leftmost part of the triplex was burned long before this fire - even before 2008, which was the first snapshot taken on Google Street View. Was the triplex vacant the entire time, or was it partially owned until then? And is abandonment and arson a major problem in Philadelphia?
@@chuckman231 In case you weren't aware, they released the AAR for the incident just a few weeks ago. If you're interested, you can find them here: www.phila.gov/documents/colorado-street-fire-reports/
Looks like the fire band is just being used for this video purpose , the companies on this fire are operating on the fire tactical channel unless you have one of our radios you wont be able to hear

I got chills when they had the emergency activation from Eng 45s officer! I immediately thought back to Matt.
May I ask what happened to Matt? From the sounds of it, nothing good. :(

Why wasn't the channel closed for this fire? They're dispatching all over on the fire channel. Listen to Chicago Fire Department.
Our county police depts are digital encrypted. I have a digital scanner but can't receive them

I don't like to armchair QB because I know all departments do things differently, but is that ladder parked under that power line?
