I've been battling with an addictive personality, and an addiction to smoking. I've recently been born again, and the Holy Spirit has been CONVICTING me of smoking. Today is the first day of many first days. I failed and smoked again, BUT BY THE POWER OF JESUS THE CHRIST I WILL STOP AND BE FREED FROM SIN. WHOM THE SON SETS FREE IS FREE INDEED. I love that there's a body of Christ to reach out to. (Working on finding a church family) Yes faith is everything, yet as human people we get lonely and I'm so grateful for you all.

Smoking is one of the hardest addictions to quit. The Father released both me and husband-to-be from drugs and alcohol-completely. HTB still battles smoking so you're ok especially since you are still seeking the Spirit. No condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Rom 13 I think). So no condemnation - just your consistent faith and you will see that last cigarette!!! Praise the Lord for you!!!!!

If yes, then so long as you've sought repentance, given your life to Christ, and *have a personal relationship with Him*, then you're ALREADY a child of God! No striving! We're saved by His grace and not by our works, so while listening to Christian music, praying more, or being a nice person is all important, that's not what makes you a child of God. Having a daily relationship with Jesus is 🥰. Just enjoy Him, get close to Him by reading His Word and asking Him questions, and let the Holy Spirit guide you. You're dearly loved by Almighty Himself!! Let good works and godliness flow from a place of intimacy with Him. The more time you spend at His feet and in HIs arms, the more you will grow. dont worry about secular music. ask the question "is it Godly or unGodly?" just because its secular does not make it wrong lol. If its singing about women in an unflattering way or is celebrating sinful activity then yeah maybe you shouldnt listen to that. But theres plenty of secular music thats perfectly fine.

This playlist is helping me to think straight and gave me a massive boost of hope! This has truly ministered to me in more ways than just that. I was having a hard time adjusting to college earlier and I'm not sure how to describe it but listening to this also made me feel confident, encouraged and reassured that I can get through this because God is on my side! That one makes to not want to leave it is short about 28 minutes long so I put it on loop and listen to it for as long as I can before and after work sometimes. I was having a hard time adjusting to college earlier and I'm not sure how to describe it but listening to this also made me feel confident, encouraged and reassured that I can get through this because God is on my side! 10000000000% agree!!!! My favourite is the Freedom mix. That one makes to not want to leave it is short about 28 minutes long so I put it on loop and listen to it for as long as I can before and after work sometimes. Such a relaxing mix at the end of a day or to kiss your weekend with a touch of heaven♥
