I had to chuckle when you said you and your husband are at the opposite ends of the temperature spectrum, it’s the same way in our house, I’m wanting to open a window or turn on a fan and my husband is shivering covered in blankets! 😂 Love your grungy journals!

Good morning, sweet lady! It's a very cool, rainy day in mid-PA. A typical Fall day where you just want to cuddle up in a blanket and read or watch old movies. Across the street from us they are having an auction. Our good friend, a single man in his mid-60s who had multiple myeloma cancer, passed away in Feb and they are now liquidating his estate. It's so sad to watch it all go. This is the 2nd auction and there will be more coming up. It'll be tough during the holidays, because he always joined us for Thanksgiving and Christmas. My husband especially is having a tough time as they would chum around together and do things.
Anyway, that's my day here so far. We will be going to Harrisburg shortly, an hour & a half away from here. I hope your day goes well. Hugs! Sue ♥

Good Morning Gayle! Love the grunge; I watched a video on a crafter using score tape and put her scraps on it. Put the tape down alongside the page and add your scraps and of course you can make it any size on the page. Have a wonderful Relaxing Sunday and see ya on Mix Media Monday! 👍🏻🌻🌻🌻

Your style is so eclectic, and that's why I watch your channel. Two things I noticed today in the grungy journal that I might use, are the reinforcement strips that are high color contrast, and the sewn around tag that you added gesso to and topped with a butterfly diecut. I just wouldn't use the grungy background paper. There's so much to learn from watching other people create live and unedited. Have a great week, Gayle!

I think so. I did put some fabric on the edge of a waxed paper page and it stuck okay. 👍❤️
For those that don’t like grungy, stick around and you will learn to love it. At first I disliked it whole heartedly. Now I love it.

You don’t know this but you, me and my dog have breakfast together each morning. I feed and walk her after getting ready in the morning, and then I make my breakfast and watch you while I enjoy it. Everyone who knows me well knows not to call me between 10-11 because I won’t answer.
