Learning a new language as a adult in general is hard. Im learning Cebuano now and its hard . I have a full time job too and there is not alot of time to review. But stay strong and keep going. You can do it!
My wife is from Manila and I am from Germany! The bureaucracy, especially the German one, caused us a lot of problems and we were constantly asked for a document which presented us with new challenges. The German course at the Goethe Institute for my wife was also not so easy due to her age! There were moments when we were almost ready to give up and looked for other solutions! Once I flew back to Germany one day before the wedding date at the registry office in Manila because another document was not sufficient, but after a year we managed to overcome all the hurdles and have now been happily married for three years! But in the next three years I will retire and go back to the Philippines for good. ***You must not give up under any circumstances, you will both regret it sooner or later, fight for your love****
Its a desaster with the german authorities for sure. We are full of this. We need a break of our financial situation. I will be in ph for a visit soon again. Thank you for your encouraging words. Good luck to you guys.
