      Thanks for watching my video and commenting! Yeah it’s a great loader. I have had mine going on almost 15+ years now. Still cracking out ammo. Just take it apart about every 2500 to 3000 rounds and grease and oil the moving parts. If you grease the spring it really makes the machine quiet. Good luck and have fun! PA

    I discovered just this weekend that I get a better crimp -- deeper start and tighter final -- if I don't park the sizing ring on station one, but instead put it on the bench/board. This lets the press descend another 1/16 to 1/8 inch, closing up the hole and putting more of a roll-over where the crimp joins the straight hull. Even more like a factory crimp.

      Thanks for watching my video and commenting! I really appreciate it! Well I can say this, the LEE load all II was what I started with. And I had never loaded a round in my life. It’s so easy and fun. You’ll be cranking out shotshell before you know it. I was able to do a box of 25 in about 15 minutes. I used spent hulls also. $60 is a really great price too. I paid $50 for mine but that was probably 10 or 12 years ago. Just a note to you, I would take mine apart about every 2000 rounds and give the old girl a light overhaul. Grease all the moving parts, handle pins, main spring, ect… have fun with it and if you have any questions feel free to ask me. PA

    The other brands (costing 3 to 10 times as much) do exactly the same reloading. Final crimp on the Lee can be accomplished by a simple washer under the hull.

      Thank you for watching and commenting on my video! I really appreciate it! As far as number 4 shot, I am not sure. I have heard of people reloading buckshot so I think that it may be possible. You would just need to use the right sized bushing. The kit comes with about 15 or 20 different size bushings. There’s also a load data chart that comes with the press. I’m not sure what I did with mine or I would tell you right away. You should be able too find someone on UA-cam reloading #4 shot. I hope this was helpful. PA

    Hi great vid thank you. New to reloading myself. How do you store the powder? Do you keep it in the press when not in use? Is the press easy to empty of shot and powder if you don't leave it the press when not in use? Thanks again

    • @pareloader5989
      @pareloader5989  Рік тому +1

      Thank you for watching my video and commenting! I really appreciate it! This little press is how I got started in reloading. I shoot trap weekly and I shoot 100 rounds a weekend. If you do the math that’s over 5,000 a year! I was getting 25 lbs of shot for free from my work so it seemed like a no brainer. I store my powder in the original containers. When I am reloading I try to get the powder down as little as possible. I have never had a powder problem with keeping it in the hopper though. Yes unfortunately the LEE load all is somewhat of a pain to empty out the chambers. Normally what I do if I am taking the press apart for a light overhaul, is I put my palm over the lead shot hopper and pour the powder back into its container. Then I do the shot. I do it that way because I don’t want my hands to touch the powder. There are plenty of UA-cam videos on other methods of doing basically the same thing. Hope this helps. If you haven’t checked out the rest of my channel I am giving away a $25 cabelas gift card to a subscriber when I hit 750 subscribers. If you want a chance to win just sub and you will be entered. Hey David! Thanks for watching my video and commenting! Really appreciate it! So primers are a big problem and have been for some time. I haven’t reloaded shot shells for awhile now. I had some 209 primers left over from when I was trap shooting regularly. I bought two bricks of small pistol primers off FB market place. I paid $140 for both which was a pretty good price. Honestly I think I would try cabelas. There probably going to have what you need, but be prepared to pay. I used to go to a local gun shop called Myers gun shop, but unfortunately he past away and they closed up shop. You can try buying online but then you will be charged a hazmat fee. Such crap! Lol.
