I always thought that Shou's theme was one of the most intense without really needing to be loud or notorious, like some sort of elegant juggernaut or sth, this arrange makes justice to that thought!

Strange. For me, Shou isn't that hard (on normal, I can defeat her without losing lives, maybe using a bomb). The tilting fight is Murasa's.

1. The lazers that attack you are actually linear, their prep move is curvy.
2. Her hardest spellcard is the 3rd one, using linear rotating lazers.
They move in curvy, go back and then come out straight in one of the non spells
I think you can cheese through that spellcard though if I remember correctly

The music in stage 5 is probably my favorite in UFO, barring Fires of Hokkai (which, it's a long story, is the song that actually got me into Touhou). Nice to hear a remix of Shou's theme!

I've heard this theme is the least well known out of all the UFO character themes. Nice it gets a fantastic cover.
I would say Ichirin's theme is the least well known from UFO! But really, I hope all of them get covers at some point because UFO has one of my favourite touhou OSTs, up there with IN and PCB!
@@fridotato2560 Ichirin is a major character in the more recent fighting games, and her theme got remixed a couple times in them. Shou still has nothing, really, so...
@@gyppygirl2021 Yeah, canonically Ichirin has been given far more attention than Shou, but in the fandom remixes of Shou's theme are a bit more common than Ichirin's. It's great to hear them both though because I think they're both underappreciated!
Gonna throw it right out there and say I'm guilty of underappreciating both Shou and Ichirin's themes. I can only recognise them from their intros.
