i hope you guys enjoyed this video, what was your favorite read from january??
ps- stick around to the end of this video for a surprise giveaway!! happy reading :)
I really want to read more books this year, “All your perfects” is on my 2021 TBR, I would like to get that book😊 Hope I win the give away 💕 Keep posting your videos, Laura 🤍
I haven’t had time to read much but I started your wattpad book and I’m loving it !!
Hey my favorite book from January is Tied by Carian Cole. Not many people are talking about it. But it's good.
Please do another kindle unlimited video. I have nothing to read😅😩
im British and have never seen an ice hockey game in my life since it’s not a thing over here, yet im obsessed with hockey romances lol. like the moment i see hockey in the synopsis im automatically gonna read
Same here!!
So this is kind of random, but when you were talking about The Invitation, my mind was stuck on the fact that the guy modeling on the cover is Nick Bateman! (He was going to be Miles in the Ugly Love movie if it had happened, and I've been obsessed with him since! He would've been perfect for the role.)
LOL literally when Vi announced the cover a few months back I was like no way its our miles who could have been! such a shame that never got off the ground.
I watch your videos ALL THE TIME ❤️
The book that sounds interesting to me is the decluttering one
My favorite from January was broken knight, it literally made me cry so hard 💖
This month I started reading The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue and I am so excited to finish that up soon! I would really like to read The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up because I honestly do need the organizational tips!!! Also I love your videos:)
Still intrigued to read the invitation. My favourite book of January was birthday girl! Finally got round to reading it and it was great.
My favourite book i read was the selection series. I would like to read about tomorrow from ur list.
Love ur videos 💞
As a person who lacks in organization, the decluttering one would honestly be so great!
About tomorrow sounds really good!!!! I would love to read it!
I love your idea of setting monthly challenges for yourself. I’m thinking about doing something similar to broaden my reading horizons and knock off some of my TBR ❤️
I just read the Adamson All-Boys Academy series and it was amazing. I am obsessed ✨
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo absolutely broke me and made me feel hole at the same time so that was by far my favorite read for January. For February, I’m most excited for, A Court of Silver Flames. The book Torn Apart that you mentioned seems really interesting I’ll have to give it a try!
I haven’t been adventurous with my book choices lately either but romance books are just so easy to read 😩
Love the monthly wrap ups! Would definitely stick to them! I’m currently read the Seabreeze series by Abbi Glines - because I heard you talk about it so much! The book in your video I’d love to read the most would probably be Power Plays & Straight A’s, just because I love sport based romances !!
My favorite read in January was Love and Other Words by Christina Lauren! I’d love the tidying up book! Thanks for the chance!! I love your videos!
I read Blame it on Champagne last month. It was sooo good!! You should try too Laura!
How does your makeup always look so good 😫
omg i love your channel and watched almost all of your videos and now i have a list of so many books to read and dont know where to begin! lol!
on that note, would you ever consider making a list of books that dont involve a mc being sick or dying? i spoil so many books for myself when doing research! lol
Nooooo!!! I haven’t gotten around to reading “The Invitation” and now after hearing what you said, I’m contemplating on even picking it up. Aahhhhh 😭
Classics are a MUST!!! I also have an English degree, well technically it's classified on my transcript as English Language Arts and you are overloaded with a ton of books but some of my favorites are, Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte, Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austin and Tess of the d'Urbervilles by Thomas Hardy as well as Little Women by Louisa May Alcott (which I find a lot of our newer, popular contemporary romance reads draw a lot of inspiration and influence from because they have the same themes and tropes that are brought to life in a newer more up to date style) You might like some of them or probably have read a few of them already. xo
After We Fell Trailer Reaction? Love your channel keep up the great work!
I love this version better I love when you go in depth
yay im glad!
I would like to read Power Plays and Straight A's!
I love books with hockey in them! Thanks!! 🙂
Love the new format! Can’t wait to hear more in-depth reviews of your monthly reads! I really enjoyed the first two books in the CU Hockey series & am excited for the third to release next week! Would love to win a copy! You originally got me hooked on hockey romances - Sarina Bowen & Elle Kennedy are my faves! Not specifically a hockey book, but I just read Sarina’s new book Roommate & really enjoyed it! Can’t wait to the rest of the series to come out!
Great video! i added a couple of books to my tbr :)
you mentioned new hampshire and i added that book to my tbr so fast 😅
I’m currently read the Sweet Evil series
I love monthly wrap ups
I read few amazing books this month. I love tied by Carian Cole. Darkest temptation is amazing, i love Mila. And new favourite serie is Mindfuck, it is thriller romance where she is serial killer and he is FBI agent, i just remembered how much i love thrillers. ❤️
My favorite book that I read in January was Beautiful Disaster. I saw you recommend it in some of your older videos and my co-worker (I work in a library) has recommended it to me several times.
The most appealing book in this video to me is the Tidying Up book by Marie Kondo. I love to clean and declutter and with it almost being spring cleaning time, this would be a great book to help me with that process.
can we talk about how gorgeous you look🤍love the green eye makeup !!🤍🤍
aww thank you!!
Thanks for the chance 🌸 I really want A Gorgeous Villian by Saffron A Kent to release in February 😭 I loved the first book and I am so excited about Callie‘s part. I am curious about reading The Invitation by Vi Keeland, read The Rivals last month and I loved it. Love from Germany ❤️
Hey Laura! My favourite book I read in January was definitely “Hopeless” by Colleen Hoover💗I’d love to read the book about decluttering too :)) I hope to enjoy something new☺️
My fav book I read in January was I Hate You Fuller James. I'd love The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up, thanks!
You have great content in your videos. I did not want to set on the side to thank you for sharing ❤ please never stop being you, you are just amazing, here to support you ❤️❤️👍have a blessed day ❤️.
I would really like the invitation by Vi Keeland, I’ve been seeing it all over bookstagram and I really want to read it 💖
I would really like to get About tomorrow by Abbi Glines ,I haven't read her books yet but Breathe is on my tbr from your recs so i may soon read it!!xx
I really like the Invitation. I like all the job/office parts, I think it is very interesting that the main girl has a job as a perfumer. But I agree, the story is very predictable, and I feel like it is similar to Egomaniac.
Omggggg Laura i love youuu and you’re videos
love you!!
My favourite book was " Getting lucky number seven" !!
I'm definitely liking " the art of tidying up " 😍
OMG! I loved Getting Lucky Number Seven. I randomly picked it up one day and I ended up reading it in like a day!
Lmaooo I totally get you!!!
I’m also so obsessed with vi keeland and penelope ward but I think their new books are just mehhh..
I think this is because we are so used to their writing style and we have read them so much that we know how they think😂😂
My fave book of January was From blood and ash! And I haven’t read Park Avenue player yet so that’s the one I would go for 😁
Could you do a video on a selection of books you’ve rated 5/5? 😁
I’m definitely interested in reading Torn Apart! My favourite books from January were Mirror Image by Sandra Brown and What Lies Between Us by John Marrs! I’m excited to read Little Fires Everywhere this month and I think I am going to try my first Colleen Hoover this month, not sure which one tho 😊
My favorite book that I read in January was Kill Switch by Penelope Douglas. The book that sounds super interesting to me is Torn apart. It’s something different but sounds interesting.
Marcel proust in serch of lost time my favourite classic
I read Dead Man Walking by Giana Darling and it was so good!!! I would like to try the Eleanor Oliphant book because I'm also trying to expand my reading spectrum, but I would also give either of the Vi Keeland books a try because I haven't read anything from her yet.
Best book I read this month is..... Under locke (brothers best friend) or hello strangers (cried like a baby tho) and I definitely want to read no tomorrow! ❤️
I just finished reading Sweet Dandelion by Micalea Smeltzer and loved it! I remember you mentioning that book a few videos back so I read it. Have you ever read A Thousand Boy Kisses by Tillie Cole?
Torn Apart /Bound Together duet sounds good. I'm always on the lookout for good poly /RH. They're unfortunately hard to find if you want plot and character development with your smut, which I do require.
Read the invitation. Figured it out pretty quickly too.
Fav book in January was Ugly Love - Colleen Hoover omg❣️ I would love to read read Power Plays. You’re the reason I got into the Briar U series and made me fall in love with hockey romances😂😍
Hey the best book I have read this month is daisy jones and the six, its got romance but if you are looking to read something that’s not just about romance this is for you, i loved it!
Also I would love to read the invitation, as although its predictable, I do like this author and I would love to see if i can guess the plot
i started reading the blood and ash series by jennifer l. armentrout and i am loving it so far. its literally been two years since ive read fantasy so im very happy that the first series that ive picked up has been good :D also decided to reread the addictes/calloway sister series and my heart is broken.....again. highly recommend either of those series! as for the giveaway about tomorrow sounds the most intriguing and i have been wanting to get into abbi glines for ages now....
I think my favorite book the month of January has to be tied by carian cole! Some other books came really close! I really love all of her books but the end of Tied was so sweet and romantic. But I also read a lot of Penelope Douglas books that really stuck with me like Heart bones!
We need the boy with dark hair and a tragic past classic trope! I love your videos Laura !
A classic I love is A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens if you haven’t read it :)) I think the ebook and audiobook are free on Apple Books but I could be wrong
I've got so many favourite January reads. I've been reading a new book almost everyday. I'm obsessed. Some of my favourite's are:
Hush Hush by Lucia Franco (age gap romance)
The Wild by K. Webster
Verity by Colleen Hoover
He Made Me Stay by K. Webster (MM novella - super sad)
And because I love MM books so much, my favourite's I think you should read are Try (#1 Temptation Series) by Ella Frank (so hot & steamy) and Without You by Marley Valentine (so good! Deceased brother's boyfriend trope)
Love watching your videos Laura. I find them very enjoyable. For the giveaway, I wouldn't mind receiving The Invitation by Vi Keeland. That one sounds interesting.
I'm currently reading Eleanor Oliphant and "trudging" is defo the right word!!
my favorite book that i read in January was Broken Knight and I would love to win The Invitation!
Omg since there turning The Summer I turned Pretty into a series on Amazon can you do a dream cast video?!
Try reading The Catcher in he Rye I am 100% thats the classic for you 😂😂 its a really nice and interesting read with a fast pace following a rebel teenager’s weekend and its amazingg!!!
Girl the book I would love read is about tomorrow by abbi glines it just sounds so good ❤️❤️❤️🙏✨
I read the Wicked series by Piper Lawson after hearing you talk about it and loved it! I would love to read About Tomorrow by Abbi Glines! :)
The best book I read this month was probably Dear Aaron by Mariana Zapata! The book I am the most interested in that you talked about is probably Power Plays and Straight A’s! It sounds so cute!!
I think the reason why it's so easy to guess the twist and plot is because the majority of the romance novels carry the same plot. Maybe they tweak a few details, but the major plot stays the same. Especially with rance authors. This is only my opinion since I've been indulging in a lot of romance novels.
My favorite book of the month was ruckus by lj shen. It is the second book in the sinners of saint series and let me tell you that it is phenomenal. Laura you should definitely read it. The book I would love to read from your video is about tomorrow because I love everything that abbi glines write🥰
I’d love to try Torn Apart. I really want to start reading more diverse and representative books and I’ve never read a polyamorous book before!
I recommend Taylor Jenkin Reid books as an introduction to literary fiction! Love her books and they’re an easy read but very mature and interesting
My favourite book in January was Fractured by Dani Rene. I'd really loved to read About Tomorrow by Abbi Glines.
For the month of January, I obsessed over Autoboyography by Christina Lauren even weeks after reading it! I got it for the holidays and I read it in like, two days! I've never read anything like it, so I absolutely loved it! I would probably love Park Avenue Player for the giveaway! Thank you so much for these opportunities Laura! I love your videos!
omg i still need to read that one, its been in my room for ages!!
@@LovelyLikeLaura OMG IT WAS SO GOOD! It was something rly different from what I usually read and it rly tugs at ur heartstrings. I absolutely adored it and loved the writing!
My favorite read in January was Little lies by H. Hunting. That was my ONLY 4 star read last month! I think Torn sounds interesting. But so does the Marie Kondo book. Since I'm getting ready to move I feel like I need to declutter everything.
My favorite January read was by far Sea of Ruin by Pam Godwin. I cried so much while reading this. It was dark & there were moments that made me sick to my stomach, but i loved every second of it. I'd love to read The Invitation by Vi Keeland. Thank you!
Tell Me When It's Over by B. Celeste or Rebel Heir by Vi Keeland & Penelope Ward has to be my favorite that I read this year so far.
A book that I want to read this year is “All your perfects”! Hope I’ll win the give away! Luv your videos, Laura 💕
You should definitely read it ....It's amazing ❤️
All your perfects made me ugly cry.....and I related SOO hard.
Its PERFECT 💖
You need to read Amo Jones! She is an author that has book plots not done before and such a different experience! The elite kings series or midnight mayham are sooo good!
I would have to say my favorite book that I read in January was From Blood and Ash by JLA. And even though you said you didn’t enjoy the ending About Tomorrow by Abbi Glines, it sounds like an interesting book that I would pick up.
where do you buy all your books from?🤍🤍
I would love to read the invitation to see if I can predict it as soon as you did 😀😁
Ravenhood trilogy by Kate Stewart and he made me stay by k webster were my favourite Jan reads❤️ highly highly recommend....Torn apart from your books..love poly

yay so glad!!
I’m actually really happy to see your feedback to Eleanor Oliphant, I’ve been slowly trudging through it for over a year!
Last month I read Frostbite by Deborah Bladon, I love her books. Even though you didn't like The Invitation, it's been on my tbr for a while.
I would also love to read books that I don’t usually read and I’ve been reading fantasy and mystery but I just love romance . The book I would love to read is Torn apart.😊
My favorite book I read in Jan was Long Bright River by Liz Moore! And I'm super interested in Torn Apart!
I also tried to read Eleanor Oliphant SEVERAL times and I just couldn't get into it! I think the farthest I got was also halfway lolll. But I heard it gets better once you find out what happened in her past. But...just couldn't get that far xD
This was uploaded on my birthday. 😊
A book I read in January was unchosen! Torn Apart would be awesome to win!
Have a great day!
Hi Laura 😊
Love your eyeshadow! Favorite book I read was Flip Trick by Amo Jones. Currently reading Don't Kiss the Bride by Carian Cole. And would love to receive Power Plays. If I dont win its totally cool cause its already on my tbr either way lol 🥰

@@LovelyLikeLaura literally same! Lol I'm at 52% 🥰
Fav book from January was From Blood and Ash by Jennifer L Armentrout, looking forwards to in Feb is Malibu Rising by Taylor Jenkins Reid, a book to win from the video would be About Tomorrow by Abbi Glines.
My favourite of the month was 'Want me' by Neve Wilder ❤
And for the giveaway i would love Power Plays😊 Thanks for the chance!!!
My favourite read this month was The Maddest Obsession by Danielle Lori. It was my third mafia romance (the first two I read were not it) so when I absolutely LOVED this one, I was so happy 🥰 on my tbr for February is Lightbringer by Claire Legrand. It‘s the last book in a trilogy and I‘m both excited and scared to finish 🙈 I‘ve been interested in Eleanor Oliphant, but never picked it up, so I think I‘d actually like to win that book the most 😅😂
My favorite books that I read in January are from blood and ash by Jennifer L. Armentrout and All your perfects by CoHo. Park Avenue Player was already in my tbr for February, so I guess that’s the one I’m the most interested in lololol
My favourite book I read in January is the dare, the fourth book in the briar u series. I like that the girl didn’t have the ‘perfect body type’. I book I want to read is power play & straight A’s. It sounds so good.
i also love the dare!
Favorite book from January: Hollow Heathens by Nicole Fiorina
My favorite book this month would be Sweet Hope by Tillie cole. It has the sweetest romance ever. The book I would love to read is the life changing magic of tidying up by marie kondo
Hey Laura, I would love to read torn apart and would like to get into k Webster x
I think "The invitation" for those who have not much experience in books, because my brain does that thing too😂
I just think what can happen and that happens so yeahh
My favorite January read was Layla by Colleen Hoover.❤
And I felt the same way about About Tomorrow by Abby Glines. The plot twist was reall unnecessary. But overall it was nice.
As for The Park Avenue Player...I umm kinda loved it.
