I have been bead weaving for 13 yrs. and I just wanted to let you know that I consider you the best beading instructor I have encountered on UA-cam. Your demonstrations and explanations of each step throughout your tutorials are clear, concise and easy to understand. Thank you for sharing your talents with others.
it has gotten to were I see a beading project that looks nice then i go to Gina's videos to see if she has one similar and learn hers ....i cannot get some of these people. its like they hide a step or something.
Susan Kovacs eloquently said what I was thinking. You are the best instructor on UA-cam for jewelry tutorials. I have been watching you for years and have made so many beautiful jewelry pieces from your teaching. I've been beading 16 years, but if it were not for your great tutorials, I would have given up many years ago. Through your teaching my experiments with seed beading are at their best. This particular tutorial has been especially a "brain teaser" for new ideas (love the necklace).
Hello, what a nice note to wake up to. I generally take one day a week to reply to my comments, that day is today. Thank you for the very sweet comment, I am happy to inspire creativity, always. I am glad you find this one interesting, have fun with it😁
This is so pretty !!! I usually don't like the tubular necklaces but this is not all the same and that makes it very interesting ...Beautiful Gina !!! Thank you !!!
Toni Earnest yes, do not often make the tubular stitches anymore, I did when I first started beading,I like them, but they get tedious. So, I decided to revisit them with a twist😁
This is such a beautiful design. Its a lot of fun doing it but am waiting on crystals that should be here tomorrow. It grows so fast. I'm loving it and can't wait to wear it 💕💕 Thank you Gina from New Zealand.
I like it just the way you designed it. Wow wow!! Girl I can’t keep up with all you have designed. No doubt that I will try it. You’re designs are beautiful.
Deborah Narendorf Awe, thanks. I can’t keep up with my own ideas, I feel so slow to create...but I am working on. Thanks for watching and for the very nice compliments 🌺
Well, Gina, this is brilliant! It’s like a bead weaver’s sampler. Thank you so much showing us how to make the transitions from one stitch to the next. Beautiful piece!
Sharon Perry LOL, yes, it is a sampling, isn’t it? Funny, I have had the thought in my head for some time to use basic stitch mixes, I finally sat down and started doing it. I have a few more ideas, hopefully they work too❤️
Hi Gina. Your videos are so clear and descriptive and extremely easy to follow. I made this piece n it turned out to be totally stunning. Thanks and keep up the great work. You're really really great.
I think it's perfect. Those are my colors. Going into my Want List file where Santa can see it. Thank you, Gina. I learn so much from you, like how to beautifully finish my work.
@@GinasGemCreations They are especially helpful to me bc I have zero talent for design and I love how you always make the clasp an integral part of the work.
Hi Gina this is Sandy I would like to know if you're doing a a treasure box for this spring if you are can you let me know I've been watching your shows for this is I started watching UA-cam and you're absolutely wonderful person I love your your work thank you
This is so pretty! I think it’s a little too advanced for me just yet, but I’m going to try each technique separately so I get the hang of them, and maybe then it won’t seem as daunting. Thank you for sharing your talent with us! 💜
Susan Picken yes, I know Toho metallics, especially the silver, is always difficult to find. Try BeadaBeada, send him a n email and ask for some. Maybe I will PM him.
I am having so much fun making it. It is supposed to be my sister's birthday present but I am not sure of I can part with it. Thank you for this beautiful design und your wonderful tutorial.
I like the necklace a lot. I think I’ll only make one section of herringbone, the spiral then the netting, spiral, herringbone.. I think it would go faster and I really need to finish something. I need this lock down to end my dear hubby is making me 😜.
Yes, lots of possibilities, I thought later of better ways to arrange my sections together, you know, hind sight...I know I have to stay busy too, I don’t have a husband to drive me crazy, but I have several other family members that I could use a break from😁
Oh I love this so much! I hope to make this soon . I am working on your Crystal Lace Necklace now and I’ve made lots of your beautiful jewelry from your tutorials . Would it be ok to ask where you got the beautiful Chinese crystals you are using here ? They sparkle like crazy !! Thanks for sharing with us Gina! ❤️
Sherry Croft I got these from chinesecrystalbeads.com. I get lots of Chinese crystal from a local bead show I go too a couple times a year, but I am pretty sure, this strand I ordered online.
Gina's Gem Creations Ok I will go check them out right now ! Thanks so much Gina! I LOVE your beautiful jewelry and your a wonderful teacher ! Happy Beading ❤️
Hi Gina, long time follower, love your work and all your tutorials, i have learned a lot from you. A question about this piece: when you started with the netted rope part of the neclace at 36:01 minutes in the video, you started with the seed beads, not the 4mm rounds. Was there not enough space at the end of the herring bone stitch to start with them or is it just a matter of taste/design? Could I start and finish the netted rope part with the 4mm if I use same size beads and pearls you did or would I maybe need a dif. size? Thank you and may you always be well.
It’s just the way I designed it, to transition into the netting, you probably could just put your 4mm round beads in without creating the netting first. As long as you can get back through the 8/0 to do the netting for the next round, it should work, there will be less flexibility in the transition and could hang funny, try it, that’s the only way to know.
Gina -I am going to make this necklace and I wanted to ask about the galvanized silver beads. I find sometimes they look a little yellowish compared to my other silver beads; are they getting dirty or is that the color? If they are dirty how can I clean them before I sew them on? - Thank you for your help! Love your work as always, you are my beading goddess!!
Hi Gina, I made part of the necklace but used praw instead of herringbone. I usually either run rubber or leather through the herringbone to keep it from flattening and didn’t want to do that. I made the Russian spiral section and it was mushy, wouldn’t keep a firm shape. Is that a characteristic or am I doing something wrong? I do like the look of your necklace.
HI Gina, I love this coloe scheme can you tell me what color the fire polished crystals are that you used? They look like a dark blue is that correct? How would they look with turquoise as well?
@@GinasGemCreations thank you so much Gina for this Tutorial you do such professional tutorials while at the same time making each of your followers feel like its just you and them. Very professional hon.
Mary Hornbrook I always recommend having at least ten grams of each when doing and seed bead project. But I never buy in smaller quantities than 20 gram packages. This ensures I have enough for any project or several projects.
Gina's Gem Creations Thank you for clarifying that. In these times of having to order on line for everything, it’s more cost effective to order a sufficient amount the first time.
Dar Smith Hello, my friend. All is well here, I hope the same for you and yours. You can use Firepolish, bicones, pearls, rondels, whatever is 4 mm in size will work well. Have fun with it!
@@GinasGemCreations Happy Dance! Especially because you take the time to help us learn how to sew the beads, and then how to make the designs our own! Bless you, my friend! :)
