Used to listen to this song back when I was in my edgy 12 year old phase, and looking back on it I realize just how amazing each chapter of life can be, and how much you should enjoy it cause you won't know when it'll be gone. Also crazy how music can nearly be like a gateway to the past, like you're living in the timeframe where you first listened to it. Still love this song in 2021.
I found this song when It first came out. I was in 5th grade back then. I remember when I first heard this song, I fell in love with it almost instantly. It got to me like no other song, it conveyed emotion so well. All these years, and it's still in my top 10 favorites. Listening to this song nowadays gives me a bitter-sweet feeling - like the beautiful, dying memories of my past - so painfully nostalgic. I wish so very much that I could relive those wonderful days.... my fortune days....
The exact same story for me, I heard my older brother play it in Elementary School and it almost became my model I listened to it so much. The good days, such nostalgia
I discovered Glitch Mob during my very first days of Parkour over 1,5 year ago. Their tunes will always get me back to this happy youthful days and make me think how worth it was to pick Freerunning lifestyle. ;D
I have never heard this song in its entirety before. I’m honestly amazed at just how awesome it is. I used to have the “you know what” video saved just so I could listen to the song.
I don't know why or how, I had this music that I didn't know in my head. Finally after several weeks of research I finally found it. * happiness noises *
Yeah true, all you have to do to make a hit song today is to say some stupid shit like the word ass over and over again and add auto tune like what the fuck!? What ever happened to the acoustic or the electrical guitars? What ever happened to good vocals? Or the soul put into a song, I'm only thirteen, but I've listened to the old music and the new, and the old beats the new by a landslide.
Every time I hear this song I get flashbacks to the concert... Best night ever!!! Couldn't breathe the bass was so strong! Also chills, but in a good way!
This song is weirdly sad, while still conveying a sense of a will to go on. Part of me wants to sit down and start crying, while the other part wants to begin working on the next NASA space station. Its a very interesting song, and is likely one of Glitch Mob's best.
I love the beat and flow of this song. I close my eyes and I can see a ballroom with dancers doing the foxtrot. the pacing is so perfect that I find the combination of the two would be majestic.
I listened first at Step Up revolution and still one of my favourite dance track ❤️ And the only reason I loved The Glitch Mob ❤️ 2021 and still energetic and electrifying ❤️❤️
I wish I knew you guys exited long before this, but I too came here following the usage of your music on the Person of Interest episode, "If-Then-Else".
I found so many amazing tracks thanks to Person of Interest including this song and band, they're fantastic. And fuck I miss POI. This show has ruined TV for me because it's just that good!
Anyone else come to visit this absolute monster of a classic? I heard it when it first came out in Elementary School, it instantly became my Anthem, it was the only thing I liked to listen to, eventually I moved on, my next big song was Down by Marian Hill. I was browsing my recommended and found this, such nostalgia, the good and simpler days. I only long for them and them alone. Everything about it is good, wished I had been able to make it to a concert. Come play in Central Wisconsin if you can! This probably won't be noticed however. God, I miss those early days of child-like innocence. October 2019, signing out
It's a sci-fi tv series about an unlikely group of vigilantes preventing crime, both relevant & irrelevant, and saving the world from shadowy forces with the help of an all-seeing, all-hearing AI. It's an amazing show and I cannot recommend enough to watch it. The song was used in S4E11 If-Then-Else.
Not gonna lie I've watched dozens of TV Shows including the best ones like Breaking Bad, Prison Break, etc. But Person of Interest was the best one for me. You should definitely watch it.
Love everything these guys do what a journey to experience their music, in my opinion this is what will be played far in the future...if we make it there. Thanks Glitch Mob for making good music then so I have it now when there is almost none.
I listened to an old interview with Justin and Tim Ferriss the other day...now I want a revamped "Somethings About to Happen" in today's audio quality.
"You've lost, but where will you allow that to take you? Will you allow yourself to live in defeat, or will you rise again? Through the hardship, through the pain, a new world will reveal itself before you. Embrace it, and bend it to your will."
I am back here after God knows how long. I don't know about building a crying, but this feels like the soundtrack to a post-breakup workout montage in a movie. Like if we saw the transformation of Ryan Reynolds in "just friends" it could almost be what his transformation is set to. It doesn't really fit thematically with that movie though and might fit better with like a "Creed" training montage.
+Richard Riçh (Fradera) I've felt this way for a while now... listening to a wide variety of music. As if there is so much you can do, but you don't want to.
The music choice in POI is just brilliant, brilliant ♥️♥️♥️
Person of Interest!!
I've known of this song for a while, so I was stoked when it was in last night's episode!
I came here because of the show, too! I'm re-watching the episode now. So awesome. And I loved the humor during the last simulation.
I can't believe i just found out about this song. This song is aweseeome
NobleCake Me too, it was awesome. Think they used it (or another from The Glitch Mob) in season 3.
OMFG this song is really good I b-boy to this song

Person Of Interest.. Love
I still love this song after all these years!
glitch mob is the most talented electronic music group in the last 10 years! listening to this classic 10 years later still gives me as many chills !!
I’m still coming back 10 years later!
Hell of a time for the machine to go on the fritz, Finch.
Give it a second, it's got a lot on its mind.

Nostalgia for the days of carefree youth is always nice to experience, but your fortune days are ahead of you my friend.
This is an anthem of strength to me. Ty
Yessss
Using headphones for hours hurts my ears, but I can't take them off while listening to this song
Heard this song in person of interest s4 e11 and developed an instant liking to this song

It's not like there was only Nicky Minaj etc. out there. There still is aswome music as well there was shit music back in 2010.
Every time I hear this song I get flashbacks to the concert...
Best night ever!!! Couldn't breathe the bass was so strong!
Also chills, but in a good way!
This is the KING of all songs
This song is weirdly sad, while still conveying a sense of a will to go on. Part of me wants to sit down and start crying, while the other part wants to begin working on the next NASA space station. Its a very interesting song, and is likely one of Glitch Mob's best.
I started listening to glitch mob years ago when I first listened to this song on Person of Interest, good old times. 💙
I love the beat and flow of this song. I close my eyes and I can see a ballroom with dancers doing the foxtrot. the pacing is so perfect that I find the combination of the two would be majestic.
Really? I can see this song going to more of a sinister final battle or serious plot type of thing.
I can't stop listening to this because its the BEST SONG EVER!!!

THIS SONG IS THE PINNACLE OF PERFECTION. 4/5.

Idk what Person of interest is but I’m glad it brought y’all to this masterpiece 👌

"You've lost, but where will you allow that to take you? Will you allow yourself to live in defeat, or will you rise again? Through the hardship, through the pain, a new world will reveal itself before you. Embrace it, and bend it to your will."
Is that a quote from something?
Your music makes the hairs in every pore of my body dance violently!!

my fave part of the song is beginning and the end

the beat makes you feel contradicted
. . . a sense of loneliness tied on
a genuine desire of keep going on
+Richard Riçh (Fradera) I've felt this way for a while now... listening to a wide variety of music. As if there is so much you can do, but you don't want to.
Yes, such an inner contradiction Dalton Raines is just with this song . It may tie up those feelings with something else
+Richard Riçh (Fradera) Thank you for your insight.
This is the best song for 2020
I came here from Person of Interest...and The Glitch Mob is my best group now.
Same here.
this song makes me feel like i want to cry and live like like a pirate
I know we all imagine badasses of our self when we listen to this. Even my little sister does.
