In the near future there could be a lot of blind welders who were exposed to laser radation without knowing it. TIG welding is safer and more pracital.
Just curious we just got one of these at work an I was using it today for the first time I feel like I might have got arch flash but I used to glasses an the weld required has this happen to anyone before
Are you also wearing the welding hood or just the glasses? Glasses are required at all time and the hood must be worn while you are welding. Yes this machine does create uv that can cause arc flash
