    I like David's intro...😂 Just go with it Rich, happy wife happy life. Emergency braking is important, most people don't know the stopping potential of there own motorcycle, being able to read terrain and know how much traction is available and how fast your motorcycle can actually stop is important.

      Hey Dave, Yeah we wee talking about our bikes just before we turned on the cameras. I guess our Goldwings were still on his mind lol.

    What a great practise!! Something we should always be doing and I love that you teach theses valuable tools!
    Remember last year I told you I developed the habit of two feet all front brake - after 7 months of not riding, yesterday I realized I am doing it again!
    Today I am not going to have my hand on the brake at all!! I will practised - left food down only! I mean once I am smoothly stopped!!
    I will keep your voice in my head!

      Hey Harley Gurl, that's great to hear. 7 months is a long time. The good thing is that you recognized that you went back to grabbing that front break at slow speeds and is willing to get better. After this session, we went on a short lunch ride, and still saw "duck walking". Of course we addressed it while eating llol.

    Great video! I kept waiting to hear you yell, "PRELOAD! PRELOAD! KEEP IT LOADED!" Just kidding! 🤣 LOL!
    More and more riders need to be teaching each other these techniques. Show cagers what it's like to be safe on the road!

    You guys are awesome. Me and my wife love watching your videos. What year are your bikes and what accessories do kake have on her bike. I have a 2018 ultra low and my wife has a 2020 road glide and I have 2013 f6b and I want to make it better for touring.

      Thank you for the kind words.
      Both our bikes are 2015. Kake has a custom seat from Corbin and she loves it. She have extra lights on the rear and highway pegs, that's it...

      I am watching your videos and practicing. Thanks for letting us know how to practice without the brake and build muscle memory that way. Ive always wondered what the motorcycle cops do.

    How tall are you sir? I'm six foot one.. I went to look at a 08 Goldwing yesterday but was very uncomfortable with the legroom so I did not buy it. did you do any mods to yours change your foot position?

    • @BootsandJeansRiders
      @BootsandJeansRiders  2 роки тому

      Hey Nelsong9...I'm 5'9 on a good day lol. Yeah the seating position on Gold wings isn't favorable for taller riders. I haven't made any mods, I just got used to it. For long highway rides, I do have forward pegs. We know riders your hight that have no problems, however I don't know their solution.

      I'm 6 ft and I'm ok and use highway pegs . There are mods for more leg room. Try Goodland it. Amazing bike
