My opinion as someone who spent too much time in armored vehicles. It’s very tight inside, the exterior is overly stylized, very poor visibility (windows are not a weak point like people think), the right seat screen appears to block a lot of visibility, two seat capacity (kind of odd). No spare tire, no external storage and limited internal storage (we carry lots of stuff(, no easy to swap grill guard.
The weapon choice is interesting. Too small for armored vehicles or hardened targets, not not really for infantry. So basically it’s effective for lightly armored vehicles? I think having a coaxial gun like a 240 would be beneficial, or the main gun as an M2 or GAU-19 would be more universal. The ammo drum would need a quick change capability too.
Just my two cents
As they say, it is more a proof of concept as a technology demonstrator. The company is specialized in designing turrets, not vehicles, and they usually adapt their turrets on all kind of chassis from other manufacturers. It is clear it needs lots of refinements based on actual requirements before being ready to be fielded.
How Windows are not weak points tho ? , windows will always be weaker than the armor , and that sounds like a weak point
@@ulforcemegamon3094 not really, you’d be surprised. Windows do really well.
Is it tall (high profile) with not much ground clearance or is the clearance larger than it appears?
@@mattshussett8063 I would hope the ride height is adjustable. Need decent clearance for normal use but not so much as to make it unstable at speed. I imagine it lowers a lot for higher speeds but who knows. We often drive. 55-65 on open dirt roads so we still need a decent amount of cleanse since the roads aren’t always smooth

Cockerill should go for the Mauser MK-27mm auto cannon is light weight and extremely powerful and the 27mm bullet have the same power of a 30mm cannon and is a super fast bullet with many types already avaible in prodution and in big stockpiles they are used in many Fighter jets, Helicopter and naval applications, super quality materials, fast rate of fire that is selective for slower rates and great power, the best auto cannon avaible, and Europe specialy NATO should make a tender for a 15mm cannon to double the fire power of the.50 cal to deliver almost the same power of the 20x102mm and rival and surpess the 14.5x115 russian ammo from the KPV, they just need to use the case of the 20x110mm hispano with a 15mm bullet
But the 30mm shell is much more common, the lower rate of fire also allows higher acuracy and longer range
So... just use the 30mm of the Tiger, lightweight, compact, heavy punch.

The turret is absolutely gorgeous. I do find it crazy that mechanized infantry units don’t get the same kind of systems that fighter pilots get in their helmets. I know those things are crazy expensive but the tech would definitely be better in terms of on the ground awareness like the guy was saying. The pass through screens would allow for unobstructed 360 views around the vehicle through its body. But, if you have to get out then you’re kinda SOL.
I always expected modern MBT to includes these kind of helmet and allows the crews to see clearly from inside the tank, whats outside around it.
It’s always gorgeous until it’s being turned on you and your family. These weapons are way too advanced. If a fascist dictator comes to power in the U.S. or Europe, we are finished. There’ll no way to even dream of resistance. Between this, AI, robotics and surveillance.

That speed is cool and all but if you’ve ever been in an armored vehicle you know that they like to roll on turns. Will this actually perform on turns or will it roll?
does it even matter if all other armored vehicles roll anyway?
@@carlosandleon yes because the largest noncombat killer is rollovers. Speed is the main factor in 90% of rollover accidents. That is why it matters.
@@EricKremer No it really doesn’t if it’s not worse than what already exists.
You cannot nullify roll unless you make the track wider than an 8 lane highway at that mass.
@@carlosandleon clearly you have no idea what you are talking about. When it comes to why it is important to think about rollover mitigation. When you add more speed and have a top heavy vehicle, the vehicle will have a higher chance of rolling. Making that vehicle more dangerous to the soldiers inside.

I read about people like you in history. You fail to realize that the means of oppression you enable on one group will invariably be turned onto you. It’s a cliche at this point. For example, German women that supported the Nazi party in order to go after minorities they didn’t like (gay, trans, Jewish, black, etc) soon realized that they would be used for breeding the master race or exterminated in the eugenics program.
So do you seriously think that a system that produced this vehicle, then weaponized it on the civilian population in Chicago wouldn’t eventually do the same in your neighborhood?

does it come with surround speakers and dab radio?
This could significantly cut down my daily commute time on the freeway.. does it come with grenade launcher option? In case of heavy traffic ofc
I've heard that some armoured mobility vehicles such as the bushmaster can get to this sort of speed on the open road
So you picked the longest, smoothest dirt road you could find to do the test. That vehicle is not doing anywhere near 75mph in 95% of combat situations.
well thats good because its not designed to fight at 75mph, its designed to fight at zero, it being able to attack at 75mph is a statistic for how available the gun is. If its able to shoot all the way up to top speed, then it can be almost 100% available. The CENTAURO II tank can travel at 110kph, people dont buy it to start shooting its tank at that speed, they buy it so it can get to location quick, lay down fire quick, and leave quick. If you got 10 of them tanks, 20 of these, and 200 foot troops, youd have a really aggressive section that could respond really agressive to any attack that popped up suddenly. You would also dominate your supply roads.

Ive always imagined a vehicle like this, high speed with lots of fire power. Need smokes to help evade if needed. Also need alternate escape hatches. Test it in heavy mud at various speeds. Make it shoot 25 mm so there’s compatibility with other existing rounds that can penetrate light armour.

Stealth, probably. It looks like a normal SUV at a distance until it doesn't. Good for insurgencies.
Just guessing but it probably lowers the profile of the vehicle to make it less visible? ... and when the gun is not in use it gets the gun out of the way where it is protected from anything from the elements to the enemy?
Cause it looks cool

I'd assume less maintenance. The motorized components under the turret are protected when not in use. I'd assume with the turret tucked away, it will fair better during like a sand storm. I wonder if the components are accessible from the inside. Like while on the move, they can lower the turret and reload the ammo. That or maybe do minor maintenance.
