I think Fortnite will always be popular, but all UA-cam and twitch content is dying off because of TikTok
I feel like youtube wouldn't die to tiktok cuz there is just to much problems with tiktok and twitch is having a decline cuz of tthe recent events and how there managing things where youtube is trying there best to improve things.

I think people need to dig a little deeper it's not fortnite thats dying, it's fortnite competitive that's dying to make it more accurate for everyone so they can understand

This is what I’ve been saying for a while now. It’s not just that pros are convincing their audience to dislike the game but it’s the entertainment value. If I am watching a streamer, it’s generally bc I find their content entertaining. So when you’re a Fortnite pro but every single time you stream, you spend the entire time hating the game, your audience is going to eventually start dropping.
I do exactly the same as you said when I am bored from scrims and arena I hope in no build to change my mode then go back again to the grind😊💯
Fortnite isn't dying. People are just losing interest in competitive. Ninja, Tfue, etc still have tens of thousands of viewers across all platforms. In the early days of fortnite, people loved content creators. Then, at the end of chapter 1 and in chapter 2, people loved competitive. Now its swinging back to content creators again. I've tried other battle royales (Apex, COD, etc) and they are nowhere near as good as fortnite is. It's still the best shooter out there. It's just going through a cycle right now.
One of my favorite AussieAntics videos ever. I strongly agree with most of your opinions and think Fortnite could be so much better if they considered many of your ideas. One thing I really liked about this video was the genuine honesty and looking out that you showed for the community. In the last minute of the video I loved how you shared multiple ways that may be important for improving a players mental health. Especially the part when you even went to the lengths of saying it might help to just stop playing for a bit. Coming from an influencer who has content that mainly revolves around Fortnite, it takes a lot of genuine care and love for your community to make a statement like that. Continues to prove just what a genuine, good human being you are. Thank you.

Great factual points, individual feelings do not matter when you speak about facts. I'm 30yo, been playing since a couple of years only, and it's the only game I keep playing with my friends. The game building system, regular updates and our own (slow) performance progression makes it still enjoyable. Can't wait for modding introduction but overall there's no game like Fortnite. I just wish I was 15y younger to shit on everyone ^^Anyway, great video Aussie. Keep up. Love from France.

Meh. He only used one source, and a questionable one, at that. Google trends, twitch viewers, content creators leaving (Formula and Soar Dylan just announced they are leaving tonight, alone), etc all point to a steep decline in interest at the very least. A player base drop would surely follow if interest doesn't pick back up.
Don’t think it’s dying I just think that the people that used to spend hours upon hours on the game are getting older and prioritizing either other games or something else. I played it recently and it was super fun so me personally I don’t think it’s dying cause of the new fresh community and new people coming in trying to make a name for themselves
the modes and contents within the modes are so boring now, i just cant play any game mode for more than half an hour

they also need to fix bugs in the game, i feel like i see so many things in the game that just shouldnt happen as a result of bad programming and then it gets worse as they do nothing about the situation
I really try to keep playing Fortnite as my job but I just can't force myself to keep playing a game I don't enjoy right now so I personally am taking a break till I start enjoying the game again. I also have no friends so it is a bit difficult to keep being motivated to play
my friend left me in ch2 season 8 after we played tournment and becuase they
were sick of playing this game and moved on i really think a solo fncs would be great to keep playing
Even if epic make more kill points in arena people would come back to the game and try and get 100k points or something like that cuz when that kill points were higher everyone was just

I played fortnite first abt 4-5th ago in ch1s4 and I constantly played until ch2s2 and then I kept playing everyday until ch2s6 and when s7 came out I didn’t enjoy it so I took a break and came back last season and I’m absolutely loving it a little break goes a long way
A few days ago Amar talked with pros about what can be done to improve Fortnite. Why pros don't stream tournaments and why they stream so little at the moment. There is a UA-cam video coming out the other day. He wrote it all down and sent it to Epic Games. Stuff was mentioned that wager should be allowed again because pros have always loved streaming that. There has to be a good ranking system like Valorant. People who disconnet from the game should be able to join the game again. Epic Games/Pros - Discord. And much more

Me personally I reckon the reason why this chapter is so bad is to hype up the next big chapter I think this is a business strat to surprise everyone with everything and bring the things to bring its peak of players back up

I started playing Fortnite in August because of Zero Build.
The only day i missed was the last day of season 3 because i was so busy that day and downtime kicked in by the time I was going to play it.
I think one of the difficulties with competitive is the 100 person format. Too many people especially for small regions. I’d like to see Epic introduce an official 1v1 (or team v team) ranked mode. That would be really grindable and it would lend itself to smaller, but still hype bracket style tournaments (like tennis) where players could show off their mechanical skills and grind in between the big BR tournaments.
I honestly think that's where gaming as a whole is heading. It's becoming a legit sport. I compare it to tennis and golf a LOT.

If epic really wanted to they could add a scrim gamemode. Just enable damage till theres like 75 players then disable it till the 3rd zone or 4th zone. They could just implement regular scrim rules into a gamemode.
I miss one round cash cups I feel like now even if u pop off one day now u have to play against 99 other people across 10 games and fell like u have no chance
right now, im not playing the game that much solely because they don't have anything i can grind for in terms of comp. i always grinded to get champs, and i really felt like i could this season, but there is just no point because there are not really any tourneys i can play in. im a solo player and dont have any teammate(s) to play with. Ill probably start playing again when late game comes back, but for now im just not. havent been for the past three weeks at least. but this game is far from dying

Well I think that’s the problem too tell the truth if people think arena is the place to W key then how is epic supposed to fix it. Look arenas lobbies shouldn’t be dying out before the first circle ends plain and simple if anything they should have a no kill period where people can land and loot and then after fight. Also I have been saying this that they should have a scrim mode where you have tournament rules and it will competitive but yes epic has to come out with a proper ranking system if apex can do it so can epic but they trying to keep fortnite casual the problem is competitive isn’t casual so they have to make comp a completely different playlist and something people want to grind but not so boring that people don’t want to play it.
its crazy how competetive is dying like this. I used to hold viewing parties for fncs with all my 30 freinds in discord it was so fun. Guess those times are gone

If you're not enjoying Fortnite, either take a break or quit. The first three seasons of chapter 3 we're abysmal and I forced myself to tier 200 in both season 19 and season 20, so when season 21 came around and it was still awful a few weeks in, I didn't play until the end of the season. Only got to tier 100 and couldn't even get the Indiana Jones skin, but the game was actually enjoyable. Now I'm enjoying Fortnite the most I have sense season 14. Sometimes you just need a mental refresh, and that's perfectly fine. Just look out for your own mental health and take care of yourself. Do what you enjoy, it'll be a major help with keeping good mental health

I’m 27yr old, it’s been my main game for the past 4 years but I didn’t play for around 2 years. Life happens and you just don’t have time to grind hours and hours. However I’ll always have love for the game ❤

fn was the first game i played very very seriously i played for 4 years and quit it cuz of school and cuz i got frustrated and i deleted it in the blink of an eye i dont understand why people take it as a job
As a no build player myself I can sort of understand why people may think this. But I think that no Builds is one of the greatest things to happen to Fortnite. I started playing in chapter 2 season 5, and if you haven’t been playing since day 1 your not going to be able to “get gud” enough to compete with the sweats in builds. I love no builds, and I would say I’m a pretty good player, 22% win rate 8kd it’s great because it is still very skillful it just tests aim, and rotation/moment instead of building and editing which you have to have been doing for a long time to get good (not something you could just pick up). You also have to think about creative. All of my friends that still play Fortnite, yes there are fewer than their were but still a lot only really play creative, arena, or tournaments.

I think I’ve just played for too long. Sounds crazy but I have over 200 days played in that game. I think each season is becoming progressively worse and more stale as time goes on. I think it used to be more fun then compared to now because it was a brand new game and nothing like it was out there, a lot of games have gone down the battle royale route because it’s popular but I think it just makes everything seem repetitive.
Been playing for a long time and I like the game more now than I did 2 years ago. Less sweats, more joking around and people relaxing, less unnecessary over building. It's fun again.

I would like to see the numbers compared to overwatch 2 since it’s new and, if I’m being honest, I’ve been playing more overwatch lately than fortnite. But I still love fortnite and still play it.

I think the comp side of fortnite is dying because there’s no ranking system in arena.. it’s just plain guns and nothing fun. The most fun I’ve had on chapter 3 was last 2 weeks of season 3 when there was late game, shadow bombs, new guns. I want a season like Season 9 or 4 again but more balanced.

Dude I used to play this game everyday from like season 2-3 I used to have so much fun now I just run into really sweaty pros and like I’m good but not pro level good it’s just not the same I’m not trying to sweat my d of every game I literally used to play on 130 ping now I went to 30 and it’s a whole damn difference but I don’t play as much anymore maybe like twice in a month if I feel like it

Ok I played Fortnite back in the Prime season 3 and season 4 and I played it until now and this season will be my 6th straight season of making the champions league so I know a thing or two about this game!
Listen! In my opinion there are three major factors of Fortnite gradually dying!
1-Graphics: Fortnite started to ruin graphics since chapter 2 and didn’t learned the lesson after 12 F’ing seasons!!! WE DONT WANT REALISTIC GRAPHICS!!!! We want the old funky art style! This new graphics and the new performance mode is trash! Thats one of the reasons viewerships are going down! Say whatever you want a big part why OG players loved fortnite was because of the graphics and colors of the game!
2-The game META is unfair and unenjoyable for both playing and watching: back in early days taking highground was the way to go! Ok thats fine! But there were so many items that could change the pace of the fight! High damaging shotguns, stink bombs, boogie bombs, traps these items made the game so fun and full of entertaining situations! Nowadays its just box fights! And competitive players think its not competitive to bring these items into game! No! All these items from stink bombs to shadow bombs to boogies they all need skill to utilize! These items were the reason fortnite was so cool due the variety of things that could happen in a fight! Can you say this in todays game?! No! Its nust boring box fights were 90% of the time the player with better ping wins! Indirect fire items like smokes grenades and other things are a crucial part of other competitive games such as valorant CS go rainbow six siege and so many others but not one of their Pros crys about it like fortnite pros do! Pro players ruined the game instead of complaining about everything nust play the game and utilize every item! They complained about everything to a point where we are right now!! The game is boring! Comp is boring! Go watch pro players gameplay! Every game is like the other its boring! They win every game the same way! Listen epic! 200 snipes are skill! 200 pump shots are skill! Spike trapping people is skill all these play styles require skill! If a player complains about them they are not a true competitor! Why do you think people loved watching ninja and tfue? Becuase they knew how to utilize every single item!
3-Bringing zero builds and splitting the community: zero builds is just dumb! Remember polar peak? The heights in the map? The high mountains in the chapter 1 map made the map look so cool we cannot have these in fortnite anymore! You know why? Zero builds! This mode will kill Fortnite just trust me!
Epic, Please… dont ruin the game more than this… we loved it…
I like what you said abt the proper ranking system. If not a ranked system like Valorant or Apex, Epic definitely needs to find a way to incorporate something to grind for.
Competitive just feels boring atm with no fncs and it's more fun to watch no build with all the old school content creators coming back can see no build taking over it's bringing more views than build tourneys and casual players back
