I worked as a psychiatric nurse for just under 20yrs. I see him as a massively vulnerable and developmentally stunted young man who has a partner capitalising on those vulnerabilities. So much of what they've said has been exposed as lies, and their own stories contradict themselves each time they're told. So much of their body language and behaviour screams concealment and dishonesty.

I have no experience in a professional field that could give my comment credit and yet see the obvious insecurities and weak spots in Prince Harry.
Only because his wife keeps pushing him to generate income from his story. He doesn't even have an interesting story . I have relatives.
I have the same boring drama.
Netflix would never offer me money to rat on my sister in law , step mother, and complain about the time my dad didn't hug me .

I think William was seriously concerned that his younger brother was being used by a woman because of who he was, rather than truly loving him. He was frustrated that Harry wasn't listening. Grabbing him by the collar isn't hitting him. The whole situation is sad! I would like to think that Meghan married him for love, but she seemed more interested in being the center of attention in a very wealthy, very public family. The whole thing is very sad.

The timeline of the fight coincides with the resignation of staff members and reports that Meghan was engaged in bullying. The RF was hoping that William could get Harry to "guide" Meghan toward better behavior. Apparently --- at least in the released excerpt --- Harry avoids this elephant in the room and makes it sound as if William just waltzed in and called Meghan "difficult" and "abrasive" for no good reason.

My grandfather said a few things that could have been taken as insulting, but I knew he loved me with all his heart and wouldn’t hurt me like that. The questions were just out of curiosity. In fact, when I was in labor, my child’s father wasn’t there, so my grandfather rushed to the hospital to be by my side. He held my hand through each contraction and fed me ice chips. Quote from Prince Phillip (he didn't think H & M were doing the right thing, either for the country or for them), "It's a big mistake to think about yourself,. No one is interested in you in the long run. Don't court popularity. It doesn't last. Remember that the attention comes because of the position you are privileged to hold, not because of who you are. If you think it's all about you, you'll never be happy." The Queen subscribed to this as well. She almost never spoke about herself, never granted an interview, never performed or played up for the camera. She saw her duty to be a unifying symbol in the society of the UK above politics (which we sadly lack in the US), providing a thread of continuity linking the past w/ the future plus soft diplomacy. Yes, the royal family does have incredible privileges, but they have an annual contribution to the UK economy est. to be £1.766 billion. These estimates included indirect economic effects on tourism, trade, media and arts.

I think in childhood, Harry after the death of his mother, felt lost and got very bounded to William. But William left him by going to school, maturing and going independent. Harry was trying various things to find his place but acctually never achieved it (by his army service was getting him closest to it), however it didn't last. He saw himself in William and wished similar things for himself (representative wife, soulmate, family). With Megan he got manipulative narcissist, that family could not approve and Harry felt betrayed. He was also "massaged" by Megan constantly on how he got mistreated by his family, so the division of two brothers progressed. Now they are trying to earn money the way that is the easiest, plus getting the attention they both crave (for different reasons).
Personally, I am getting bored by actual content they bring or create. For obvious reason they will work on that that it lasts as long as possible, cause they don't have other way of earning the money.
I am quite curious about the end of this story. I would guess, it will not work at one point ang Megan will dump him. Than he will go home.

🤔 I’ve watched the Royals since Diana & Charlie’s met & married. Now if Meghan did her homework when she met Harry she could have watched all the documentaries & read every book written out there about her & Fergie’s lives within the Royals. Did she really think she was going to chance an institution? Harry had an obligation to explain how the firm worked. His other gf didn’t want to marry him because they knew what it took to be a royal. So there shouldn’t have been any blindsiding on Meghan’s part. You prep for a job interview, I’d be preparing for this job, but I already know the role. When ppl become citizens of the US they learn the The Star Spangle Banner when they become US citizens, why did Markle make such a big deal learning the God Save The Queen. Really? She’s an actress, how many times did she go for auditions? You learn to play a part. As for Harry he’s paranoid. Both brothers lost their mother, William is only 2 yrs older than Harry. I find it hard to believe Harry wasn’t allowed to grieve his mother’s death. It was decades ago, lots of things change over time being more open talking about death.

That she wanted the prestige of being a princess but not to do the work to learn how to be a royal. There was some brief interview she did where she talked about it and I just remember thinking... you haven't prepared yourself for this. Not that she didn't know but just that she didn't do her homework. Is some of the stuff they do stupid, heck yea. It's still their traditions and I felt like she didn't take it seriously at all. Now that I see all this stuff going on it justifies that odd feeling I had back then. The fact that they keep trying to capitalize is telling.

Bad behavior - Harry was invited several times to visit the Queen at Balmoral, refused and then argued with Prince Charles about bringing M when the Queen was dying. The Queen who saw her namesake great-grandaughter, Lillibet ONCE. How disrespectful. He claimed to care about HRM but his actions say otherwise. And that book. @TheKim369 Рік тому +4

@@beccaboo3040 Please be careful with that. I had a sister who was 4 years younger than me. I have no clue how old your girls are now, but I assure you, there is no competition between a 4 year old and an 8 year old, that a 4 year old can win. 8 year old's go to school, they can read and write, they are maybe playing in a sport well or have a talent for drawing, riding a 2 wheeled bike. Whatever the 4 year old does, the 8 year old will likely easily surpass them and still have a later bedtime and be responsible for a chore or two. As you move along to say 12 and 16, again, the 12 year old will not win any sort of competition. 16 year old's are likely very involved in a social group, maybe have part time jobs, are allowed out later in the evening, perhaps wear heels or bras, or other more grown up clothing and make up. Perhaps they can even drive. I don't think most 8 year old's feel very competitive toward 4 year old's, and likewise, most girls of 16 aren't even slightly interested in competing with a 12 year old.
What went on in my house was a jealous younger sister continually targeting the older sister, and the older sister being told to be the bigger person. When the older one is continually told to be the bigger person, what is happening is the younger is actually being given a sort of license to continue targeting the older. And the older is told it's their role to be a target without complaint. And when a parent makes comments about the girls "competing", it can be a huge insult to the older who may well not be competing, she's already mastered the tasks of years earlier, it could be a jealous younger sister targeting her. And it shows a callous disregard for what the older might be going through emotionally. How can it be good for self esteem to constantly have to "take it". And how can the younger develop integrity when taught that it's ok to target people you're jealous of? Or even that being jealous is a valid emotion worthy of being acted upon?
I never rubbed anything in her face. And I wasn't the cause of the perks that came with my advancing age. And, any successes I had were downplayed because younger sister would be upset, and we sure didn't want to upset her. As she got older she would also do things like steal and let older sister or brother be blamed. Terrible accusations would be made, feelings would be hurt and older's had to spend way too much time proving and defending or even being punished. She would snoop, she was constantly looking to get "dirt" on others. And the lying goes without saying, about just about anything, with a special place for lying just to hurt others, if you couldn't find dirt you could always make it up.
I'm sure she's a narcissist, which I know complicates things. And clearly I'm the older in the story, so admittedly the perspective isn't even handed.
Where we ended up decades later is living thousands of miles apart, and since some key family members passed I haven't had to be near her. I couldn't possibly convey all the stress of growing up as a target of hate fueled by jealousy, and it doesn't get easier to deal with as you move into college, career, marriage and children, they simply provide other potential arenas for injury. Being thousands of miles away, she doesn't make my stomach hurt any more.
Anyhow, on behalf of older sister, I implore you, address what is actually happening. Is the older girl actually competing with the younger? Or is the younger the one competing or expressing jealousy? And please don't use appeals to "be the bigger person", to replace parenting. I remember having something very special cut to pieces by a jealous, competing younger teenage sister, and being told to be the bigger person, yes, it makes sense with a 2 year old, take away the scissors and tell them "no", end of story. So what did that actually mean over the years? It meant, get over it, don't make a fuss, accept your place as a target without complaint and then parent wont have to deal with it. A monster was created, and self esteem was damaged.
Sorry, I've made this long, and it's all one sided, but for what it's worth I kind of enjoyed sticking up for the older's out there, and also for my younger self. I'm sure, just based on your caring enough to ask the question, you will get it right.

Harry's revelations about his brother indicate his immaturity, not his pathology. These sort of disagreements and rivalry should not be broadcast to the world. The book is a massive mistake on Harry's part. He will regret it. Because the brothers love each other, over time, they will reconcile, wives be damned. If Megan pushed Harry to make these revelations in public, she is thinking more of herself than her husband. The attention and the money it brings will never compensate for the massive damage done to these brothers. Diana's death affected both brothers, not just Harry. Grief is a weird thing for children. My mother died when I was 8, so I know of what I speak. It makes trusting relationships a lifetime issue, and in that family of "stiff upper lip" I expect that those trust issues are magnified a thousand fold. Just an observers point of view: Meghan saw Harry as an opportunity. Harry provided her the opportunity to get the fame and attention she craved. She never had any intention of staying. She was going to get the prince, the title, the money and, most of all, the fame, and as many perques as possible to take with her back to California. William recognized this and tried to caution Harry, who is massively defensive and easily angered. There were also reports of her bullying staff and William wanted to address that situation. It did not sit well with Harry. Various photos and stories through the years have shown Harry to be hot tempered and physically aggressive. Harry is nothing like the portrait he paints of himself being all Zen. I seriously doubt that William initiated the first punch in that so called "fight". All in all, it certainly looks like Harry has been more interested in sensationalism for cash rather than anything else. Finally, I think Harry was right to step down from the Monarchy but made a huge mistake in the way he went about it and the way he is using them in the cruelest way for profit. .

The title of the book should be Spite. There are so many excerpts that have his wife's fingerprints all over it and are ludicrous. She is fueling a resentment that was never apparent before. The video and photographic evidence of a close relationship with his brother, sister-in-law and father is legion.
Harry has known all his life that William will be king. Another telling excerpt was Harry's Wife's reaction to the 'opulence' of William and Catherine's apartment in Kensington Palace. It turned her brown eyes green. It should be noted that William and Catherine lived in Nottingham Cottage before being gifted the KP apartment and that, after marriage, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester were moved out of their Kensington Palace apartment to make way for Harry and his wife, who decided that wasn't good enough, so the Queen gifted them Frogmore Cottage.
Harry's Wife is pushing the Diana narrative. The meat in Harry's comment about William's baldness is that it makes him look less like Diana. That says so very much.

That was so obvious right after their marrying. Sleek California girl now has to wear the exclusive hats...oh, no. And besides the requisite wardrobe, the whole Royal life was incompatible for her. Harry was hurting big-time for so long, she got in there and we have seen how it's been played out so far in the media. Their home life, we don't know. And why should we. And who knows at this point if there's even a remote chance of reconciliation any time soon with William.
