In this video we demonstrate how to remove the front wheel from the fork on a Britax Smile, replace the inner tube or tire, and put it back together. This video is specifically for first 2 generations (Britax Smile and Smile 2), but will be similar for the Smile 3 as well, just a little easier.

Such an unnecessarily anti-repair design these wheel have. I regret my purchase but I'm glad I landed here!
Thank you - this is exactly what I was looking for. And I love the versality of the tea spoo. ;)
Thanks! The change went smoothly. :)
It wasn’t easy but your video was super helpful :) thanks a lot!
Amazing! Thanks for sharing!
Nice video! This is one of the worst designs I’ve seen to be honest. Why not a simple lock nut? A tube repair would have taken 30 seconds.
Nice. Thanks 👍. Maybe you now a bearing size or number. Need change
thumbs up! with your video, sledgehammer and holy fcuk, i managed to seal those tubes
Merci beaucoup !
Really nice video. Do you happen to know the measurements or model of the locking washer? Or is it easier to take it with me to the hardware store and just show them? I haven't unassembled the wheel yet and if possible I wanted to have the parts ready before I do it.
Suggest that a heavy block is put behind the object you are trying to remove fixings from with a hammer?
Also keep your hands behind the (screwdriver) blade you are hammering, perhaps?
Re-used star washers and caps are not terribly reliable. Nyloc Nuts and a bolt might replace the axle and might be a good investment as the puncture fairy always strikes more than once!
oh my god. I was expecting something way simpler. What a hassle. I have to succeed or else I will be carrying our toddler 😩
