It's how it is. 1v1 is hardly relevant in vanilla, even tho duels are very popular. Warriors never go oom and are the most reliable dps in team fights with healers.
i agree that greatwizard, xaryu,Venruki and Ziqo are great Mages. But if we are talking about the best Mage here it is without a doubt Gameking. That guy had skills like this all the way back in Vanilla.
So what does that make druid? That completely destroyed ziqo mind you? People complain about mage so much but the only 100% win they have is warrior everything else has a fair shake for the most part

A good player has always a fair chance against a mage (just warriors are fucked without ingi and luck). And when Mage is OP, what about locks then? :D or sp who just need one dot to fuck u up
Nah it just SHIFTS the balance. Without food some classes will still be brokenly strong. Probably healers. With food Mages and Hunters become stronger. Healers lose a bit of their advantage. Polymorph is the easiest lockdown to use but Frost Trap doesn't refill the HP of the enemy.

The endless resets a mages can do are kinda toxic. Its why I dont give a sh/t about duelling tourneys really. The classes arent balanced for esports.
Not an esport. Also 1v1s are not authentic pvp, classes aren’t created with them in mind.
