I restore AMPEX 2" quad broadcast VTRs, so I know what a challenge it is to restore these machines. It takes a lot of time, equipment and know-how to bring machines back to factory specs, not to mention hard to find parts. Now a Quad videotape machine is significantly more complicated than an audio recorder, but still takes time j effort! Good job!

hello i'm considering buying a Studer B67 mono, would it be ok for mastering or do you recommend a stereo mod? and if so any idea re price of that ? thanks for your help
