I'm not a nurse but I have one because of our poor air quality due to the smoke from our wildfires. How do you know if it's been fitted properly for you? This is my first time owning one
Typically with an N95 mask I do not experience fogging glasses - unless I am also wearing goggles - then the heat that rises from breathing is trapped and it will cause fogging
1. Cup the mask 2. Lean forwards, slip under chin and over mouth 3. Apply top strap over head above ears 4. Apply bottom strap below ears on occiput 5. Seal the mask by pressing around the bridge 6. Apply an air test Doffing 1. Hand hydgine 2. Bottom straps off 3. Top straps off 4. Take of face holding the top strap 5. Discard the mask

As a nurse we have to be fit by a technician
so if your glasses fog up, your leaking?
Typically with an N95 mask I do not experience fogging glasses - unless I am also wearing goggles - then the heat that rises from breathing is trapped and it will cause fogging
When wearing an N95 should I be experiencing foggy glasses?
No. If you have foggy glasses with an N95 you have a leak!!! N95 masks require fit testing
What about xing the straps?
No need to cross straps
Really informative..
Keep up.

It's not just used in healthcare setting...so....
You are right! Many industries use them, don’t let the nursing focused channel stop you from sharing the content :) what industry are you in
Step one should be to wash your hands
That is a common step to many procedures and is noted in the video. The steps outlined pertain to the mask donning and doffing
