    That was an enjoyable video to watch. The HT10 is a lot like my Landscape Buddy 1 ton, in fact, there is yellow paint under the white paint on mine that leads me to believe that my excavator is a HT rebranded. Thanks for sharing and happy excavating!

      They are a bit small for loading into trailers or utes. They are designed right in regards to the bucket crowding in far enough. Only way around that problem is to get a bigger model. 1.8 ton models are comfortable for loading trailers and even a dump truck.

    I have the ht10 b version. It has plenty of power for it. I put a hydraulic cylander for the thum. Going to change it out for a longer cylinder. Hydraulic thum is a must. Grate for picking up brush. Will brake 2 to 3 inch limes. Had mine for 3 month no problems as of now. Doing some mods

    • @diftoyota
      @diftoyota  2 роки тому

      What size cyl have you used? I was thinking of doing this as well, do you have the stock mounts like mine or you cut them up to do your own?

      @@diftoyota I have not put the new cylinder one on yet. The one that is on it is short. And gets in the way of digging some times. I bought the thumb off ebay. My ht10 didn't come with thum or mounting bracket. So I'm just guessing on what will work correctly. The cylinder I bought is 2inch round.it was about 100.00 cost

    everyone talks crap about Chine made stuff. u do know China does have state of the art machinery and technology, not everything made in China comes from a sweat shop. my uncle has a baby Chines Backhoe.. lol. its not heavy enough, doesn't do well in dry rocking soil. if you're going to do serious digging with it, better do it in mid to late spring. nice video, thank u for sharing

    i am in NS and just picked up a very similar machine, i thoght it seemed like there was something loose in the swing, last time i was digging it was really rocking so im gonna have to check on that, i may put larger washers+lock washer+locktite when i do mine, if it continues and is possible i will put in larger better bolts

    • @diftoyota
      @diftoyota  2 роки тому

      Mine has 6 allen head bolts that holds the whole body to the undercarriage, those were loose and cause the rocking like you mentioned, mine had lock-washers but its not the best ones, ive replaced them and added red locktight, 5 hours since with no issues, but the swing motor next to it i still have the loose bolt issue even with red locktight and lockwashers, i think im gona ditch those allen heads for regular one, it be easier to get a good torque on them

    Hello, I have the same HT10 model. All in all I’m really happy with it. But I also have an annoying problem. It seems that the bucket doesn’t close enough. So that I loose a lot of sand e.g. when loading it on a trailer which is little bit higher. It would be nice to know, if you have the same problem.

    • @diftoyota
      @diftoyota  2 роки тому +1

      I never got to load a trailer yet, but its typically normal for an excavator to loose its curl ability wen reaching far out, having your machine sitting on top of the pile or on higer ground would makes loading easier
