- Make your own craft storage boxes to hold those 12 x 12 papers and other craft supplies! These boxes also make great home decor pieces. This is a super easy DIY and an ORIGINAL DESIGN.
TIPS FOR DOING ONLINE GOOGLE SEARCHES FOR SHEET PAPERS, THIS IS IS MOST HELPFUL INFO I CAN OFFER:
1. search for wrapping paper sheets or Italian wrapping paper sheets
2. search 20x24, 20x40, 13 1/2 x 19 1/2 wrapping paper sheets
3. search Florentine sheet paper
4. search for decorative drawer liners

IF YOU ARE USING 12X12 PAPERS, IT WILL REQUIRE YOU TO JOIN MULTIPLE PAPERS TOGETHER TO MAKE THIS BOX, AND YOU WILL HAVE MULTIPLE SEAMS. YOU WILL NEED 36 X 15 INCHES FOR THE OUTER SHELL, 12 3/4 X 31 1/2 INCHES FOR THE SHELL LINER, 40 X 12 INCHES FOR THE BOX BODY AND A PIECE TO COVER THE FOAM BOARD BOTTOM INSERT. This project is more suited to larger sheet papers, but can be done with 12x12s.

PLEASE tell me that you are planning a variation that opens on the 6” side so I can access my paper pads without lifting them up to see what I have, or standing on the short side so it is more like a file box! I might be able to figure it out ( I am learning a lot!), but my brain struggles a bit with 3D🙄. Can’t wait to see that! Thank you for opening up huge possibilities for me.

Definitely a game changer for my craft room. I've never requested you do anything different as I value the time that you give us but, I would be jumping up and down if you did make the box open in the front. I have saved so much time by making the boxes for my projects. I used to spend as much time and money finding the perfect box because I feel the presentation of anything is key. You can make something absolutely gorgeous and if you stick it in a Ziploc bag well, there you go. I am going to make these boxes for hats I am making for a little girls tea party. Then they will have a box for memories and such. Thank you for all of the joy you have brought to my crafting.

Wanted to let everyone know that the paper tree nook in the uk that Sherry gave address for Italian paper also has an Etsy shop you can shop at. That way you don’t have to fiddle with figuring out the euro to us currency exchange. The Etsy shop is in us currency. Hope that helps some others.

Funny story...I was in my local Michaels and a very nice lady had let me know that AC Moore just got another truck load of stuff in and I should go check it out (going out of business, now that Michaels bought them so they are shutting the doors on many of the locations) then she asked if I knew something about box making...OMG that was like a door blew open from a hurricane to me. I told her she HAS to go on YT to watch The Posh Paper Lady, Sherry...sorry Sherry, I just went on and on about you! I told her how easy you make it look in every size possible for any needs you have...AND THEN....I told her about your Paper Purses and how beautiful they are...OMLord...she really got excited then! Oooh's aaaah's all over the place...lol I guess all I'm trying to say is, you really don't know how you've touch peoples lives and then people like me can't wait to tell others all about you. I actually edited it by putting a divided down the middle and now store my card making paper scraps by color in each side😃 I've saved so much room by being able to consolidate several container!
