Been a sneak/commando build since I started the game two years ago, love it but recently i've tried energy weapons like the Enclave flamer and really enjoyed it. Am very tempted to try this Alien blaster build, got the plans last year. Also love that your special cards spell out ALIEN if you look closely, lol. Thanks AT for your hard work in making these videos, they help a ton.
its really interesting watching other peoples builds and the priorities they have in their quality of life cards. my quality of life for this build was some extra strength and carry weight cards because my legendary armour sucks and i just put on a Chinese stealth suit (which has no pockets that i was used to having) so i strapped a pack rat card, a strong back card, a travelling pharmacy card and spent 10 points of strength on carrying stuff good. never even occurred to me to put the bobble head and magazine searching cards on my character. and i went all in on stealth as my survivability trick. im full stealth, equipped for stealth, covert ops 3, but Endurance 3 (because fireproof is such a quality of life card.) where this build is relevively focused on durability. a bunch of endurance, extra HP cards, DR and dodging cards oh my. it fascinates me the choices people make, and the different styles people have :)
I know you can use stealthy types of armour but I've always felt they cripple handguns with the way the gunslinger perks are under agility and not perception like rifles.
without gunsmith or whiteknight, how do you deal with your stuff breaking every 2 seconds. I prob wouldn't beable to get through one story mission without something breaking without those two.
It depends on the weapon and the armor and what mods you have on them it can also depend on what Legendary perks you have explosive perks your weapon degrades much faster I have never once playing since the beta used white night or kept gunsmith on all the time if you repair your weapons and armor so they're at 200% you should be good for a long while unless you just run into battles and want to tank the damage then yeah it's going to do great quick alternatively you could just take the cards off and then equip them when you need to repair things but that gets tedious
@@rzwitdauncut if you rank up one of the Gunslinger perks to 2 and another one just rank 1 you can actually maximize more damage than having one ranked 3 so I think what he's trying to explain is that you don't need to have all of the Gunslinger perks ranked up fully

Unrelated but just as important. I believe I found a serious bug with the Gauss Rifle. I have a TS50c15c Gauss and yesterday made a rifleman build to compliment. I also have a V50c25 Gauss as well. So upon testing the TS is only hitting with one of the two rounds. This isn’t a one off either I did several mutated events and westek runs trying to figure this out. Damage numbers would be between 500 and 700 on a gun with a base damage of almost 600. I swap over to the V and it’s doing between 900-1100 on average. I would make a ticket but we see where that gets us. So I thought I’d reach out to the friendly neighborhood Turtle and see if you could do some testing and report back :) if there’s anything you need from me don’t hesitate to ask!
VATS hits many times lay the damage numbers "on top of each other". So it looks like 1 hit/1miss, but it really is 2 hits but you only see 576 once, because the other 576 is graphically underneath. To test, take off your rifleman cards for damage increase, shoot a super mutant with one so it survives, note how far the damage bar went down. Do another fresh mutant with the other gun. If same/similar, the two shots are hitting. Now... 2shot will burn AP faster and damage the gun faster. So, just know that. Sniping, better off with Bloodied or Instigating if full health... well, solo at least. Get those 1hit headshots.

Holy cow!! This looks incredible! I cant wait to give this a try, but I'm all out of legendary modules to roll Unyeilding Armor pieces, so I'm gunna have to grind lots of scrip tomorrow....I've been trying a bloodied build for the first time, and although I like it, I melt like paper thrown in a fire.... make sure you have serendipity, dodgy and maybe ricochet. also blocker if youre getting punched out often and i love born survivor it helps a lot managing low hp health just goes through stimpaks a bit quicker

I've had a character that is a pistol build, for a long time. The Alien Blaster is quite fun, but honestly, nothing feels as good as an automatic 10mm.
Would this TS effect with the snowballs work with the alien disintegrator? Because if so itd be cool to see a rifleman version of a cryo build considering we have a cryo pistol, heavy weapon, and shotgun.
Hey turtle today I got a bloody replenish ap lvc ripper drop from eviction notice, unperked this thing shreds, all vats sneak attacks. The range in vats is odd after you start sawing you can back away a good distance while still doing damage. May be something to look into.
This might be a dumb question but how does demolition expert affect the alien blaster? There is not change in damage with or without the card. (Maybe patched out?)
so worth noting you can do this with bloodied and AA blaster if you dont get a 2 shot and it works just fine for everything still tryed it today as rng didnt give me 1 2 shot after alot fo rolls lol
Thank you so much for doing this. I have it set up slightly differently. I am carrying explosives for the Nuka Launcher and I love Crack Shot for long range tagging in “Eviction Notice.” Right now my only grind is getting the Space Space Alien skin to go with my UFO CAMP. I almost got an extremely good roll (IMO) but the main roll was assassins. I wanted Bloodied for main roll and if I got what I wanted it would’ve been B/+25%WS/-25%AP
How do we know that Bethesda won't view the snow-ball effect (explosive) as a legacy modification and nerf it out in a future update? Seems like an unintended effect that results in an unbalanced game mode. You yourself pointed out that this is due to the way the snowball effect is currently coded.
everyone has tried the EPR flamer build, but not one has done a build analysis of EPRs with aligned auto/splitter or even EPPistols with the aligned splitter/auto/flamer mods.
@@AngryTurtle True! That's why I combine it with the same pistol with sniper barrel. Two weapons, one type of ammo, one for close up and one for far. I can one or two shot most enemies with sniper version.
@@wistaban except plasmas are not stealth friendly. They are loud and break stealth. The alien blaster does not, it is, for all intents and purposes, innately suppressed.
Are there any other pistols one can recommend for this outside of the blaster? Want something a bit more aesthetically fitting for my character. Open to Ballistics, plas, laser, p much any other pistol outside of the alien blaster
You know it's funny cause I was rocking a pistol build and apparently it involved the alien blaster and I pulled a 3 🌟 bloodied one yesterday so my luck is getting better
How do you learn the mods, such as long barrel etc? Is it from craft/scrap or plan/mod purchase somewhere? I only know the cryo mag from an Alien Invasion plan drop.
@@Khronokai I got my pistol character to high level without the blaster no problem. I figure when people say pistols need a buff they mean revolvers or they're just repeating what somebody else said.
Hey Turtle, I tried a bloodied and also an anti armour alien blaster a year ago and didn't think they had much punch.....in fact thought they were piss weak......I didn't try the cryo mag so maybe I missed something or is this a new thing. This build looks epic and that scorchbeast didn't know what hit it 🙂 I already have a bloodied commando/stealth build using quad ff fixers or vampire exploding lower ap cost fixer and a full set of great roll unyielding SS armour plus I often run with a quad ff tesla rifle for tagging. I run almost all the same legendary perks and mutations as you but my perk allocation looks totally different to your setup.....hmmmm.....looks like I will swap the anti armour alien blaster in storage which isn't up to expectation and I will start the grind to roll for a two shot then I will swap all my perk cards around to be like yours..... Lucky I have over 300 legendary modules set aside just in case something interesting comes up. Cryo mag is vital regardless because the cryo effect is enhanced by demo expert. So if you weren’t using those that’s why. Most enemies have very low if any cryo resistance so it’s almost like having Decryption level armor piercing.
@@COLDFIRE_0284 Mostly correct. Since one wasteland all enemies got elemental resistances as fire/poison/cold, and it is much higher than DR and ER. I did my test the same setup all 3 weapon with cryo mod equipped, but yeah TS just obsoletes B and AA.
@@csabakiss2644 AT mentioned in the lead up video... 2shot does the whole +20%, but split damage for each shot. BUT, the explosive effect of the cryo is based on the weapon card damage. So demo expert to buff that, and you have a 2 shot mini-launcher type weapon. That is the trick!
That's my plan. I already use the enclave flamer and rifles. I figure pair that with this pistol and a plasma cutter and you got a mandalorion. Need a cape though.

Why am I not doing as much damage to the sentry as you? The only thing that I don't have equipped is the survavility cards yet I'm not melting them like you..
If you want to skip first aid, just get a vampire auto weapon or shotgun, preferably both (pepper shaker) since vampire doesn't matter what damage you're doing, just how many hits you're getting

Rolled a two shot 50vhc AB last night, and a full set of unyielding arctic marine. 😊ace build

Look at player vendors for UY marine or hvy combat... it's enough to at least get going, then save those modules for trying on the SS pieces.

the only downside is you need copper to make ammo if you not run alot of daily ops they should put alien blaster ammo in the ammo converter

I have 2 a b50c25 and Q50c25 alien blaster and I love them both. I guess I’ll have to find a TS5025 and AA5025 version to test

we don't know it's the same as chainsaw and auto axe situation and in that case devs decided crazy high damage is intentional
Nice build! Have you ever tried a build using the enclave plasma pistol using the aligned flamer barrel? It's the most powerful DPS gun build in game.

Ya I have a bloody 50%crit damage going for the same one turtle has a ts50%crit damage also have a quad 50%crit damage which is fun too.

Cryo mag and two shot is key.
Without snowballs the weapon is weak, with snowballs it’s it’s the king of combat Christmas
Both B and AA variants are much weaker than TS pretty similar to heavy launchers TS atleast 45-50% better than B and even more than AA for example.

so i got a quad alien disintegrator with a High-powered receiver and for some reason it has a 81 ammo clip why is this?
Disintegrator base ammo size 25 quad always based on standard setup so it is 4x25, high powered base ammo size is 6 so 4x25-19=81
If you want to skip first aid, just get a vampire auto weapon or shotgun, preferably both (pepper shaker) since vampire doesn't matter what damage you're doing, just how many hits you're getting
