Great stuff. I've been implementing many things with my 77 year old father. He is very forgetful but probably from his stroke that he had a couple years ago. I've slimmed him up (lost 35 lbs) and he eats a nearly clean keto diet now. He even told me last night on our 2 a day walks (walk between 5-10 km per day now up from barely moving from the sofa) that we do together that he doesn't feel pain anymore in his joints. He doesn't take any medicines. I just watch his diet and give him occasional supplements when I see we don't have the perfect foods available especially when traveling. Seriously good news for him.

Many years ago I went vegetarian, after a couple of years I started feeling very tired all the time, I slept long naps in the afternoon, and generally felt lethargic all the time. I went to my local health store and told the lady my symptoms. Straight away she said you are B12 deficient. I bought some, got on it straight away, and within 5 days or so. I felt fighting fit again. I am sure there will be a lot of vegetarians now who do not know about this. Thank you so much Dr Berg, another very helpful video.

Thank you Dr. Berg! I am furious that this was never talked about from my Dads VA doctor or any doctor. For decades he has been on medications for high blood pressure, antacids, cholesterol and calcium tablets twice a day for his arthritis. He ended up with a bone blood infection in the T6/T7 area the literally crumbled the two vertebrae. He had two back surgeries at age 88. I took him for a vascular study since they said he had a vascular stroke. He had 50 percent blockage in the back of his neck. Your video on why not to take calcium supplements made me wonder if that’s what caused the stroke and his antacids causing dementia. Because of your message we have stopped the calcium tablets and giving him tumeric and ginger tea , coconut nut oil and collagen. Now we are adding a B complex to his daily regimen. He is 93 now and lives in Klukwan Alaska. I know he is old but he is a trooper. They said he would probably not walk after two surgeries and he proved them wrong so you never know till you give them hell!

CAUTION! I've never been diagnosed with GERD but have had bouts of gastritis over the years. I messed up my own Gallbladder from taking Betaine HCI AND taking digestive enzymes!!!!!
I HAD NO CLUE!!! I stopped taking all of that and it's been a slow recovery and I'm not certain yet if my GB is fully recoverable but I was able to stop taking bile salts which I was taking to help my problem. So there is a light at the end of the tunnel, cautiously optimistic.
PLEASE! Anyone reading this, BE CAREFUL what you put in your body because if it takes the place of somethign that should be made by the body naturally, then you turn off other hormones and functions which can wreak havoc!!!
I have learned this the hard way!!!

When I was 24 I started having tingling sensations in my fingers and hands, and in my face. Then I started to get terrible migraines with debilitating nausea that would leave me bed bound for days in a dark room. It was getting worse and worse for a year I felt awful and was unable to function normally. One day I woke up and was unable to speak. I couldn't form the words I was thinking. In a panic my mom rushed me to the ER thinking I was having a stroke. After multiple expensive tests and specialists it turned out to be a B-12 deficiency. No one even suggested it because of my age. I happened to Google my symptoms and made the suggestion to my Doctor. Crazy how something so simple can be so easily overlooked! I have been getting b-12 intramuscular injections for 12 years now and the symptoms never returned. :)

I wish I could remember the doctor that had done thorough research on dementia and healed patients with diet and certain supplements. When my grandpa was still alive, he had it and I try to encourage my Aunt ( the nurse and grandpa's health care giver) to look into it. She never did though. My father has brain shrinkage but my brothers are care givers. One lives with him and the other lives in same neighborhood. I think I have peaked their interest but it is also up to Dad to give up his sugary ice cream and other high carb foods. I hope he will and pray my brothers will assist him with better living. Maybe some googling will help you find the doctor who cures dementia with diet and supplements. I mean cure. Also I remember that part of the doctors protocol was to exercise the brain such as take up playing a musical instrument again or memorize a new word in another language each day. Even memorizing Bible scripture would be excellent brain builder. If he is a Bible reader he can work on memorizing word for word a scripture each week. Hope this info bless yours.

I know from experience that I had profound memory loss due to that and I’m trying to deal with it at 63. I felt like I was getting early onset dementia. I still don’t remember much about my life. Go straight to KETO, but learn all the negatives first like, for instance keto flu. You wanna have all of that addressed before you start eating keto diet and master your breads & desserts before you start the diet. You can throw those in the freezer. If you’re not huge on cooking every day, you can barbecue hamburgers 50% of the way to your liking and finish it up in a toaster oven or on top of a stove. I do a dozen at a time and freeze them half cooked and half raw for each hamburger patty. Barbecue flavor and done in a few minutes when you’re in a hurry.

I cared for my mother for 8.5yrs while she suffered from Alzheimer's. I wish to share some tips with anyone involved in the care of a dementia patient. 1st remove all sugars including fruit from their diet, in another video Dr. Berg said dementia is caused by type 3 diabetes, I feel this may be very possible. If they're living in a nursing home, they're doomed as they only feed their patients highly processed foods with plenty of carbohydrates. I would personally put the patient on the Keto diet and remove all carbohydrates, I didn't know this during her life and her condition responded quite well when simply removing "sugary foods" however I hadn't known about keto and carbs during that period. Also, massaging the patient's back in a spiral fashion using the palm of your hand going up and down both sides of the spine will produce results in only 15 minutes. Feed them coconut butter (available at vitamin shoppe & Amazon labeled as coconut manna) as a fat, also 15 minute results, I've also noticed that all of the dementia patients I've studied had the fire element to their body type, meaning blue or violet eyes, blonde or red original hair color which may have added to a mind with racing thoughts. Edgar Cayce had provided several very useful readings which another researcher had published two books titled "Alzheimer's Disease & The Dementias, An Alternative Perspective" authored by David McMillin, M.A. which were both out of print during my hunt for them, I was able to locate book one. The voices are real, they belong to deceased souls which exist in the etheric plane, to my surprise my mother became a channeler during her dementia, we had several deceased sprits come through the house during sunset, she would repeat comments containing specific words told to her from at least one of them which were not in her normal vocabulary. Allopathic (conventional) medicine is primitive and mostly made of egotistic so called doctors which literally only receive a grand total of 45 minutes of nutritional education during medical school, if only half of them had the bravery to turn their backs on allopathic medicine including it's blind glorification and become holistic doctors or even shaman would be a god send. Having someone like Dr. Berg to come forward and work to pave the way out of this ignorance is a breath of fresh air, keep it up Dr. Berg.

I honestly wish everyone on this planet should listen to Dr Berg's advice inoder to prevent some of those awful diseases.

I increased Vit D to protect me from Covid 19, and my labs reflected an incredible percentage after I increased, not realizing that I had ordered 5000IUs instead of 500s.. My PCP ordered me to stop taking Ds, and that caused me to question my entire supplement regimen, and gradually I stopped them all. Went into what I thought was dementia, and was seen by psychologists? Brain doctor, who gave me an intelligence test, which was very confusing. Memory was sadly affected. Now, without my PCP's permission, I am going back on my supplements, including all the necessary ones you have talked about. I know lots of vegans and vegetarians, and I’m vegan myself. I and others at times noticed fuzzy thinking, and/or a twitching in the face right under one eye. When that happens, it’s time to start upping the B12. Often times it’s simply a matter of running out if it and forgetting about it. If the fuzzy thinking happens even when taking the B12 regularly, make sure you have the Zink, and Vit D! Also flaxseed oil and lecithin help greatly. Its like super charging your brain.

I understand the pain and the suffering of this illness victims, yet I think; in addition to what Dr Berg has said about taking vitamin D, keeping the mind busy with activities such as: learning a new skill: like an art or a language, might prevent or delay dementia for a while, and this prevention should start from as early as the late 30s in any person's life, and not wait until it's too late, when the brain cells are so damaged beyond repair. This video brought to light extremely valid reasons for someone experiencing symptoms in which they believe to be an onset of dementia. A very good reason for having this concern other than hereditary factors may be the lack of common vitamins in an everyday consumption causing sudden memory loss or lack of ability to concentrate at times. Having been a sales representative for natural supplements I learned a lot about the importance of Vitamin D, Zinc & B12 in addition to the Keto Diet which I believe if given the proper nutritional facts based on a personal inventory of someone’s metabolism and health can be very beneficial. Keto should be researched as it is not for everyone’s chemical makeup who may have underlining issues with their heart for example. Overall, I thought this was a very informative video. Thank you!

Great to see a doctor focused on natural remedies along with supplements for good health. Too often people rely on pharmaceuticals and though some may help often you see more problems arise from taking them. Especially when there are multitudes taken each day! Don’t know anyone who overdosed on vitamins but maybe there has been some out there. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🇨🇦

I noticed that your picture at the end of the B 12 capsules says cyanocobalamin. I have read that the absorption of this type is more difficult. Methylcobalamin is recommended because it goes straight to the bloodstream. The use of cyanocobalamin is said to also indicate that with a multivitamin the manufacturer is using cheap ingredients as a whole.

I wish I had a doctor who knows as much as you do. I have an inherited blood disorder, but no one in America seems to understand it and I have decided there is not a lot I can do. I have, for years been taking purchased B12 drops but a new doctor says I have too much in my blood and to stop taking it. I know the dementia, fatigue, the creeping numbness will eventually destroy me as it did my mother, grandfather and cousins, but there is no one here who can help. When we came to America my mother's doctor gave her the wrong supplement and said she would produce enough B12 and she (and my Dad, her champion) were simply making a fuss. As a child she had been given raw liver every day. She was diagnosed in the late 60's in England although that was after years at some of the most famous hospitals who failed to diagnose her condition. I have changed doctors in the hope someone would help me but all they do is give me xeralto...which nearly killed me recently. I do hope someone in America can wake up to these inherited blood disease and not simply latch on to a few symptoms (like occasional racing heart beats) and assume that it is a heart disease when in fact it is a blood disease.

Dementia and muscle wasting is scary AF. 37 years old. Used to be healthy but now I'm livong hell. Tried everything from fasting, diets, supplements. Instead, one needs a real form of B12 known as methylcobalamin.

Thank you Dr Berg. It's frightening how many side effects are associated with prescription meds ;( At 7:55 of your presentation you are showing cyanocobalamin form of B12. You probably cover it in other presentation about B12 but, as so many people carry some form of MTHFR mutation, it would better to show methylcobalamin and, in case somebody doesn't watch the other presentation, mention that it is a safer form of B12 for people who don't know if they have MTHFR mutation and recommended form of B12 for people who already know they have MTHFR ;)
