Ariens governor needs adjustment?

Ariens 8/24 needs help. Any thoughts on what would make it hunt iike this? The carb appears to be clean and in good shape.

No, that's the classic Tecumseh carb. going lean. It needs a clean. Probably a restriced jet. Look in the carb bowl nut first.
