Vlad Kurochka is the professional hip hop/break dancer that currently performs onstage with Kalush Orchestra as the Carpet (Kylym)Man CHARACTER. Multiple people are this character on their socials. Carpetman, as in this wildly popular singer or artist, was once with Kalush Orchestra also, before Kurochka. He chose to use the carpet modified into unique, tailored costumes as part of his solo career image. Carpetman’s secret is safe with me and it is NOT my place to reveal his name publicly. However, if you compare their heights, builds, lips, teeth, and VOICES, it’s very obvious that he is not Vlad. You’re welcome.

He's incredible. Pure art. Just so unique and unusual in the best way and I'm hooked on his music. His appearance, voice, moves, melodies, all of it....just make you stare and listen in awe. What a special performer from Ukraine he is. I scream his name from the rooftops on my socials so he gets noticed. I've never fangirled as a teen but at age 48, here we are lol. Just love him. Thank you guys for reacting from a pov with music composition experience.

I'm actually really high now in mt bedroom...its 10:59pm over here and watching this reaction from an artist that, personally speaking, it´s one of my fav ones this year, so far. I love watching people reacting talents that are from another level, like Carpetman. Oh, dudes, you've discovered a new awesome artist from Ukraine for me
There's a lot of debate about his true identity, but my gut tells me he's Ihor Didenchuk from Kalush. I really think he looks and dances completely different from Vlad, the dancer who played Carpetman (Kilimmen) on Eurovision. Plus Ihor plays about a zillion instruments, including the sopilka (the flute in this song). And I just found out he left Kalush in '23; it would make sense if he wanted to concentrate on his own music. I have no idea if he can dance though.

She's a Ukrainian artist as well and uses traditional Ukrainian instruments in her songs (or tracks, not sure how to phrase it)

Nice to hear about your interest in the history of this Carpet. There are two of them. The first (Kylymmen or Килиммен - speak into Ukraine) emerged sometime in 2017-2018, as a rap dancer in the Kalush band (3 boys). The second Carpetman - can speak Ukraine +English too and is a professional dancer with nice voice. His voice is so powerful and emotive, it's like he's singing directly to your soul. He was emerged in the Kalush Orchestra band before Eurovision 2022. Why guys inside the carpet? The answer to the question was in the 2019 video clip for one of the songs by Kalush. It was a "ganster cartoon" about a fighting with mafia boss:
One guy from the band was killed and two other are transporting the body to the Witch. The Ukrainian Witch teaches 2 guys - how to revive a friend. They wrap their friend in a witch's carpet and take him to a hill at night in rain. During the downpour, Lightning had hits in body inside Carpet. The guy comes to life (resurrects), but the image of the CARPET is implanted into his skin. This invention helped the Kalush band become recognizable. But in the band's 2019 hits (Гори, Зорі) have sang different Ukrain rappers for the Carpet or Килим.. in "Гори", "Зорі" singin Хтось із Заходу, Рома Майк.

@АнастасіяНищота-Фостяк His name is Vlad, and he performed as part of the Kalush Orchestra group, which won Eurovision 2022. Anyone who has not heard of Kalush and does not watch Eurovision will not find anything on UA-cam that matches your description.

Carpetman, however, has now gone solo and is wildly popular in just over a year. Vlad K is a career dancer and is still performing with Kalush Orchestra in the carpet costume.
